So I got the word that my laptop has been fixed, going to pick it up today. Hopefully the backup tablet that I got will suffice! I'm so excited to be back in the game. What a stressful couple of weeks =_=

So I can't fix this myself, and due to being at the apartment, almost snowed in without a vehicle I can't take it to a shop in time. I'm going to downgrade and get a $40 8 inch tablet to get me back on track in the meantime. Even though I hate asking my parents for money, I had no one else to turn to, so I'll be back in business soon. sorry for the hassle everyone, and thanks for being patient with me.

So I can never catch a fucking break! My new tablet broke, both the input in it somehow managed to fall off of the board and now I'm getting no connection with either input. *sigh*

I'm usually really easy going.. I keep calm and live a pretty positive life. Long story short I was in the bathroom puking my guts up, and I couldn't breathe. I'm rarely sick, and when I do throw up, it's usually over within an hour or so, but this time was different. Thankfully  loth was with me to help me. I was shaking uncontrollably and I just felt this pure dread. I can't explain it but experiencing it for the first time was not fun. I felt like I was going to hyperventilate. Lothie gave me a bath and washed me off, and I slowly made my way to bed.

I'm feeling a bit better today, if not a little light headed. I guess the real reason I'm posting this journal entry is to ask you guys if that seemed like something that's associated with panic attacks? I really have no idea. I was cold but overheating at the same time. I was shaking, and just had this feeling of pure dread. It was terrifying. ughhh. = _ =

I recently stumbled on a few very helpful tutorials online, and I'll be applying it to all my photos from now on. I'm hoping that it'll help give me that slight stylized 'edge' that I'm looking for in my work. Fingers crossed!

For those of you that already know me, you'll know that for some reason, technology doesn't seem to want to get along with me.
I just got my new Wacom Intuos 4 tablet in the mail, so I hook it up, and open sai..

Well, for some reason, I have no pressure stabilizer, and no pressure sensitivity.
I've installed the newest driver twice, and restarted both times, still doesn't fix it.
I ran CCleaner, and no problems.

I've heard people saying that Sai has a tablet tab?? I don't seem to have it.
I know there are a few artists on FA that might be able to figure out what my problem is. Please, please, PLEASE, someone help me out. I have work that needed to be done 3 months ago, and I every time I seem to get something fixed or replaced, something always seems to happen..

Okay, I don't know how many of you guys followed my journal about moving, not having internet, to not having my phone, to not having my tablet pen, to finally getting back to normal, WELL... last night, I went to plug in my tablet and get more work done, and my fucking tablet wouldn't turn on. Tried it again today- broken.

So Everyone waiting for work has to wait again, FORTUNATELY this time, my parents are giving me the money today to buy the same model and replace it, so I'll only be out of commission for a few days, but still, I gotta say that I feel like I've been making every excuse in the book to not do work, but unfortunately for me, that's just my luck. I was doing pretty well for a few years, but every now and then, something happens with anything I use technology wise, and it just completely screws me. Anyways, thanks again for being patient guys. This year has been pretty awful to me.

I'm very happy to announce that I got my tablet pen back, and I have internet!! I'm taking commissions and I'll be back on schedule with uploading my regular commission poses.

Ok, so basically I'm sending this through my phone. I moved, went on tour with my band for a couple weeks and I haven't gotten the Internet back yet. I lost my tablet pen when I came back from tour, then I found it! I dropped my phone in water amd had to get it replaced. Since I could go over the details of my commissions I got everything set up and was about to start to finally get some work done and I noticed that I sat on my tablet pen. I lifted up to get it and didn't lift up fully and basically I stripped the pen and it broke in my hands.. I'm still really upset over it because tablet pens for my tablet specifically are $65, and with no money, I have no way to buy one until maybe sometime down the road.

This whole month has been hell for me :(
I'm scrambling to get the money, so please bear with me guys. I'm so sorry about all the problems but it's just one thing after another.

Okay, I absolutely hate to make a journal about this, but starting today, I have to raise the prices for my commission work, which I really hope doesn't turn away some of my many customers wanting work, but the only money I make for bills and food come from here. I definitely understand that money is tight for all of us, but I have late bills in the hundreds and I just can't make enough with how cheap I'm selling my art. Now I know some FA users on here are selling commission poses for ridiculous prices ($300 - $600 a pic)

I won't be doing that, but I'm thinking of raising everything up to $10 or $15 more dollars. like, full custom color and shading will be $65 as apposed to $55. I'm so sorry if this bums you guys out, I'm in a tight spot, and I need to do this. I'll be making a new price sheet tonight.

Okay, I'll just get to the point. I restarted my laptop, and it did a system update, I opened up Sai in order to start on my current commission and nothing happened. I double clicked the icon, and nothing. Went to the main folder, double click, nothing. It has zero response and I cannot figure this out to save my fucking life!!

To top it all off, I can't find a new torrented version at all, and if I go to the main site to re download it, my trail has expired. So unless someone can help me, I don't know how long it will be till I either get a new program to do my art on now, or someone can find me a trusted torrent of a free version.

I know the FA community is full of smarties (atleast smarter than me) so PLEAASE help. :(
