Been a while since I posted any updates but things have been a bit rough... Class has been kicking me in the butt, and what few friends I made in class have dropped it because of how heavy the workload is. Kinda miss having people around to talk to and share art with, but such is life.

To add fuel to the fire however, my drawing tablet is acting up big time with a wobbly port so the slightest nudge disconnects the thing, making getting my work done a taxing and arduous task. Commissions are still open, and it's looking like I may need to start saving for a new tablet soon...

I'll still be getting work up, and have almost finished the full color Cheetah and squirrel commission I posted the line art for. It's a beaut and I hope everyone likes it since it has an insane amount of hours put into it.

Welp it's been a bit since I posted an update so *drum roll* Here is where things stand! I think I'm finally in the groove of my new class schedule; so I should be able to get some comic pages done each week depending on my homework load and commission load. Right now commissions are open, and I have one in queue pending payment, so anyone who wants one let me know and I can get things whipped out in a day or two.

I'm hoping to get more up that isn't class related soon, and wanna give out a big ol' thanks to everyone following me. Lately I've been feeling lonely as hell and wondering why I continue to art it up, but then I see new followers and really want to make something great that makes people happy~

Well despite the lack of comic pages I've gotten quite a bit of art out lately, including a few commissions to hopefully keep me in coffee. Classes start for me next week which will be a very exciting time for me since I am taking Typography and Character Design, the later of which I am hoping will give me some art to post around here that I get credit for. I'm thinking of trying to write up a small kiddie book type story to use as my project for character design so I can keep drawing up the furry without too much side-eye.

Masterplan - Wounds


... Song has been stuck on repeat in my heeeeead. Sometimes I get into these unfortunate bouts of depression that make it hard to work, and often times it just takes one little thing to flip my switch back to "on". This time I ended up getting kicked out of it with a one-two combo of my favorite art program releasing an update and looping the above song to the point my neighbors want to kill me.

More comic pages will be coming, until then I hope everyone enjoys the random deer doodle I tossed together. He's deer-licious.

After finishing page 6, I started to go onto 7 and found out that I had already gone through all the pages I pre-formated *gasp* So I may end up taking a day or two to layout another batch of pages since I like to get the frame and text layouts done way before drawing. Helps me trim dialog around and pay attention to the way each page flows into each other. So far I have been pretty happy with my progress even if I still have a few characters left to design as well as a cover.

In the meantime here are a few interesting tidbits about the comic-

It's made in Clip Studio Paint on a wacom cintiq companion hybrid.
There will be 7 volumes, uncertain on length but I'm aiming for at least 100 pages each.
When finished there will be two versions, one clean with a more general rating and the adult version with extended mature scenes.
There's over a dozen characters that get some spotlight in their relationships and how they are involved with the two leads.

So ashamed but I didn't get anywhere near done on the second page I wanted to finish this weekend. My mom's 18 year old dog went into kidney failure, and I've known that adorable little furball since I was a kid... So instead of drawing comics I was up at her place trying to comfort her since the dog had to go down and there was nothing they could do for her at her age.

As is my emotional response to dealing with tragedy and pain, I started a new MMO and got up playing Trove. Surprisingly fun game even if I'm hopping about the world alone so far. Need to find me an RP or furry club to have someone to talk to on that game... If anyone knows/has one let me know! But this week expect more progress as I beat myself into submission and get some work done~

Whew, just joined up and already slacking. Kinda. Was house sitting for my mom a few days so ended up leaving my new art dumps unattended~ I did manage to get a few pages done as well as half started on a little naughty preview, so yay productivity. I am a bit new to this whole posting work thing and am a bit shy to try and work my way into a community, but my new project has me eager to try and share it with others as I make it~

Faewards is going to be a black and white full-sized comic with a large cast of anthropomorphic characters that live in a small modern, but rural backwards town. Although publicly imposing and confident, Jay finds his world falling apart as he gets swept into the middle of his parents vicious divorce. Comfort comes in the most unlikely of places however, and a secret friendship is formed with his neighbor Russ. Together they find a mushroom ring that leads them on an adventure to aid a village of trapped fae that have been imprisoned beneath their town for thousands of years.

It is a story about a lot of things- family, friendship, love, expectations, and acceptance of others. Hopefully I'll be able to see it through to the end since normally I end up drawing comics in the back of a notebook that ends up in the trashcan more often than not.
