For starters tho, I would just like to say that the response to both the website and the Kings of Hell project has been very positive thus far! I am glad to hear that the overall design to the domain is quite delicious in appearance, and that the game we are currently developing has captured your interest!

However, I'd also like to take this time to say we now have a blog of sorts for any and all future updates relating to that project, along with future uploads to the site and random bouts of silliness~!

Contrary to popular belief, I have not been abducted by saucer people, nor have I discovered Candy Island! Actually, my time has been busy with various activities in my life, along with spending many many wonderful moments with  mysteriousoctopuss <3

However, I come forth with 2 scrumptious bits of information!

As you might have already noticed, I haven't been quite so active on this particular website~! Tho that doesn't mean I've been sluffing off in regards to creating things, Pish Posh!

From now on, all art related endeavors and general bouts of silliness will be showcased at this location!

Will there be a Giraffe? Will there be two Giraffes? I wouldn't count on it, but there might occasionally be a Sloth or few that pop up randomly at times! Simply because they are awesome. Seriously, have you seen these creatures swim in water before? Skill!

If you visit there now, I've uploaded some sketches that I've created for Octii a while ago, just sweet drawings along with visuals reflecting back on certain times together <3 You will also notice some thumbnails that are still cooking, so do be sure to check back at a later time to see if they are finished in the oven!

I believe over time the site will evolve and change, new features added, revised layouts, flowers growing and possibly the smell of rainbows in the air! Or something close to that



Now then, the other big thing I've been currently assembling together with Octii is a beat 'em up game which we've dubbed, "The Kings of Hell"!

This is a joint project between the two of us! I've been handling the character drawings along with the animated sequences to them, and Octii is doing what he does best with assembling lovely sprites of such things, with various other touches as well! <3

The trailer itself showcases some of the early gameplay that is in development, to give you an idea of the type of thrashings that would take place! We are shooting for a fast pace style of combat, with special moves and juggle combos to keep the action flowing~ Unique Boss Enemies, Varying Level Locations, Cutscenes and other stuff is all on the frying pan too!

Do be sure to check back at our website for future updates on that as well!

This year has really brought with it change, but in a pleasant way ^^ So much has gone on since the summer time, that it would be difficult to conjure up each instance, let alone have the stamina to effectively type it out. It's amazing how time has passed now that I think about it, the days just seemed to roll by in the blink of an eye.

I have been introduced to the college lifestyle, which for the most part is a welcoming experience, regardless of it making me overly busy at times. As strange as it may sound, it feels somewhat good to be back in that environment, despite not caring much for high school. It's pretty much a breath of fresh air to me, giving my original routine a much needed boost of direction.

I also had the joy of being introduced to many new faces, who have been kind and supportive in their own special way ^_^

The real highlight tho, is that I have been given the opportunity to become closer with a certain boy, with whom you may know as MysteriousOctopuss ^_^ Over the course of months, he has consistently brought a smile to myself on more than one occasion each day, through his silly nature or pleasant refrain <3 Whether it was drawing together (I got loads of doodles never uploaded), watching movies, or playing games, I enjoyed our time together immensely~ That goes without saying that I love him to bits and we now fancy ourselves in a relationship!

So now I can do silly boyfriend-ish things like thiiiiiis

and create wacky avatars to combo side by side for laughs and stuff!

Don't be surprised if you see more artwork themed of us in the future! Or collaborations for that matter, as that was actually quite nifty and fun to do anyhow ^w^

December btw, is gonna kick ass <3 A prelude of things to come! Keep Rocking!

Just thought I should mention a few things before FA decides to take a 24 hour nap (or longer...) while it is still fresh in my mind!

1. There was one single reason I had wanted to see Kung Fu Panda, and that reason was Master Viper <3 In fact, I would go so far to say that if a whole entire movie was devoted to her adventures, it would make me insanely content ^w^ Actually though, the film was pretty good, dare I say, watch-able! Seeing all of the different creatures do various fighting styles was pretty entertaining and the animation looked fantastic ^^

2. I dunno if it is really a big deal, but I have never tagged any of my artwork before ^^; Perhaps this bite size information is helpful to some people? I am considering adding that extra bit of info to future submissions

3. A Grindhouse box set actually exists! In Japan. Though you hafta cough up a whopping 95 bucks for this edition! @_@

4. I am on a search for Master Viper fan art o_o

What is this duchebagery I am witnessing online with Mario Kart Wii? o_o

Don't get me wrong, the racing is a blast with random people from across the globe, much more exciting and entertaining than the CPU characters could ever hope to achieve with you. I'm more talking about the people who invite "guests" on their Wii system for simultaneous online play, but for more devious purposes.

Case in point, I was matched up with five other people on a particular track, one of which had a "guest" spot. So we were cruising around the course, making those blue sparks fly and what not, typical Mario Kart zaniness. I was tailing behind in 3rd place and advancing on the 2nd spot, who happened to be "guest". He threw behind himself a red shell which I dodged. I thought this was odd, seeing as how the person in 1st wasn't too far ahead, he could have easily hit him. Then he kept doing the same thing, with three RED shells!

It was then did I come to grips what was going on o_o Seeing as how the "guest" doesn't acquire any points for winning, he would help his buddy stay out of trouble by being his bodyguard, thus allowing him the higher score for placing. In other words, a lame attempt to make your stats appear far grander than they actually are.

The funny part though, is I acquired the bomb-omb power at one point during the laps, and held on to it till I advanced past "guest" to claim 2nd position. Just as he was behind me I let that sucker go and the explosion must have been so great because it literally kicked both him and his buddy out of the racing session ^^;; Their connection got dropped right after it happened!

I just wanted to extend my thank you's to those individuals who wished me well on my Birthday today and in advance! You guys make me feel like a warm batch of chocolate chip cookies ^_^ I am a mind-bending 25 years old now! Baffling to say the least! It has gotten to the point where a numeral value really doesn't hold any true meaning to me, because I am still the same person regardless of age ^^

Noteworthy Events!

I received a fantabulous piece of gift art from  MysteriousOctopuss ! I adore his style of artwork, so I was equally delighted to be given a birthday image from him <3 ^_^ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1132713/

Went and saw the Musical "Little Shop of Horrors" which was spectacular ^^ I have already listened to the score before, but seeing and hearing it live on stage is a much more meaningful and fun experience! The puppet that was created for all of Audrey2's forms (man eating plant) was really amazing, especially the largest form of all. There was only one dude inside the contraption making it work as well! o.o The real highlight of the show!

Brawl is of course fun, so I shall spare you a few paragraphs of info you already know! ^^

EDIT: Okay, in my lack of sleep daze, I absentmindedly removed the previous journal entry instead of editing it for more content o_o; Luckily I had two windows open with the text still there! I am just going to go to bed now before doing anything else silly ^^;;;

I am totally stoked for this month! Usually that is a rather odd thing for me to get excited about a particular grouping of days, but this section of the calendar is gonna be off the charts for me ^_^ Three main points of interest come to mind:

1. Brawl finally touches down Stateside the 9th! Hopefully those of you who are interested have already gotten your pre-orders taken care of, if not, shame on you o_o

2. The day after that, my birthday peeks its face around the corner on the 10th!

3. Then a few days after THAT, I'll be visiting  Stormdragonblue for a week! ^_^ This is the real highlight of the month, more so than one and two combined! <3

With so much going on, I may just explode from giddiness! If such is the case though, you can expect to see pieces of strawberry candies and bubblegum littered along the floor ^^ As the days draw closer, I'll probably be making a more in depth journal entry but I just was staring at the calendar and was all, "Dude, Yes!"

As baffling as this might sound, I will be attending FC over the weekend! I was able to hitch a ride and share lodging with a very spectacular friend of mine!

So if those of you who are there happen to see my strawberry self wandering around, please feel free to exchange pleasantries! I am in the process of whipping together a ramshackle looking con badge (or if laziness permits, nothing at all!). My faithful companion, being the Pink DS Lite, will be kept close by my side as well!

There are two things you should know about me, if you haven't already quite realized:

1. I love ice cream
2. I love candy

That about covers it! ^^ I'll take both if you have it~

If you happen to be a fan of Pocket Monsters and have in your possession the Nintendo Wii, than exciting news is available on the Virtual Console! They have released that photographic journey known as "Pokemon Snap" which was available on the N64 ^_^ If for some odd reason you never got a chance to play this title, you should totally give it a run through!

The premises is simple, taking pictures of wild pokemon. Yet it can be oddly challenging at times to get a clean shot, especially when you are trying to uncover the many secret opportunities for special snaps. Oh, and it has vulpix. Yeah, that is reason enough to buy it, atleast in my opinion @_@

I actually own the original N64 cartridge for the game, but that didn't stop me from purchasing the download. You see, they actually created a feature where you can import your snapshots onto the Wii message board, so you can share them with your friends ^_^ So I'll most likely be bothering the people on my friend list with inane screen captures ^w^

On a side note (videogame history reference), do you remember when Blockbuster had those photo machines you could transfer your Pokemon images to and print out mini stickers? I totally wish I had done that! I never got the chance ;_;

I find it incredibly entertaining reading all of these journal entries regarding Sonic in SSBB ^^ "Oh it's Fucking Awesome!" or "Oh it Fucking Sucks!" Such a broad spectrum of love/hate going on, when I am rather indifferent about the whole situation. I was more jazzed about Snake anyhow ^_^

And what? No love for Lucas? 0_0

I will say this though, I like the vocal arrangement for "WarioWare: Ashley's Theme" in japanese, waaay better than the english version. For starters, it sounds a whole of a hell lot sweeter and innocent.

I am refraining myself from gabbing more about Brawl, because once I get started, I can't seem to stop ^^;

I have always wanted to try my hand in hosting one of those contest thingies you see other people create from time to time ^^ So after some thought, I've decided to actually run such an event! The first of which will be an art contest, in relation to Animal Crossing! Depending on how things go, I would love to do other such events with different themes than drawing o.o


Here are the rules!

1. The drawing must have atleast one of the animal characters from the game.

2. The character(s) must be doing an activity that is commonly associated with the game! Writing letters, bug hunting, fishing, shopping... plenty of stuff to chose from ^^

3. Surprisingly, the entry must be devoid of Adult or Mature Content! Only General Audience submissions will be accepted ^^ (What gives!?)

4. Only one entry per artist! Oh yeah, and it's gotta be new ^^; You can't submit the link to an older entry in your gallery that is before Sept. 1st!

There are two very important things you should be aware of however! (Cue the Confusion aspect)

1. This dvd is REGION PROTECTED! What does that mean to you? Basically, a standard dvd player won't work. You could acquire a Region-Free dvd player, but that would require money! There are computer apps out there that allow you to bypass such codings and watch the flick on your monitor if need be. I primarily use a mac and even I was able to find one for free ^^;

2. This movie is in JAPANESE (obviously). The subtitles are in JAPANESE. Chances are, you are not going to have a clue about the conversations taking place! Given though that this deals with Animal Crossing, it is very easy to tell what is going on without the aid of dialog ^^

Please take those two points into consideration! As it may sway your decision... o_o?


The contest will end on September 28, 2007, giving you approximately four weeks to come up with something! If you would like to submit an entry, please send me a note, including a link to the submission UPLOADED THROUGH FA. Judging will be either done by myself, or by a mysterious mystery guest judge! There is no set limit on how many people can enter, or a minimum for that matter, so in the end if only one entry is present, easiest contest ever ^^;;

You can also enter the contest and decide to gift the reward to someone you know who enjoys the series upon winning! I would ship it directly to them instead ^_^

Although, looking at FA's avatar upload section, it states that it should not have any Mature Content on it ^^;

I took a nap in December and when I woke up, it was January already ^^;

Needless to say, I have a lot of catching up to do. What I really did was allow myself a break from drawing all together so I could get my thoughts all settled and in place.

To those of you who made any sort of Midna related artwork during my absence, you frigg'n rock hardcore style 0.0

I was one of the unlucky few who was not able to place a reserve on the Wii through Gamestop(EB Games) OR Toy�s R Us. Luckily, Walmart will be selling the system at 12:01 am on the 19th, so I�m going to wake my ass up at freaking 5 am on Saturday and sit there all day just so I can have a shred of hope getting it in my area. My sister swears she will be making a pair of �Wii Pants� ^^ It will consist of lettering, a symbol of Mario, and if time permits, a sound byte where if you press a button the 1up noise will be heard. We are crazy like that.

To fill up the time before I bash in my brains of anticipation, I will preoccupy myself with Guitar Hero 2, God Hand, and Elite Beat Agents ^^ Agents are...GOOOOOO!!

Oh yes! And thank you to those who were happy to see the dessert series return! You guys make me feel all warm and toasty ^_^

Why haven't I seen a picture of Amaterasu from Okami as a herm? 0_0 It's so damn obvious!

Also, a LONG time ago I had created a series of dessert images that had started out with Eevee and the evolutions, then progressed to other creatures. I am thinking about restarting that up, from the beginning again as a monthly bit ^^ and yes! my love for ice cream still burns brightly! -@_@-

In gaming related matters, Animal Crossing DS takes the cake ^_^ You could lick the screen. It's that good 0_0 And when your tastebuds stare back in disbelief you scold them for not believing! You then rectify this situation by purchasing some ice cream and sharing it with me ^^
