So this has been a long time coming now, but I'm ready to make the transition.

For those of you who don't know, this isn't my only or even main account. I originally made my fat account to hide the fetish art I drew because I was embarrassed about it; now that everyone knows and I've been announcing it for years, I've decided to stop managing two accounts and just merge them all with my main/normal.

I won't be Deleting anything from this gallery and I'll occasionally use it to browse fatty/fetish art, but all art from now on will be on Anuvia.

So I've been meaning to talk to you all about this since I get alot of inquiries;

Can you draw or commission art of my characters? Simple Answer, Yes and No.


At the moment, Dite (the sabertooth) is not really a character I want drawn in sexual situations with other people; She IS my fursona after all, and as a character that represents me, my sense of self and identity, I'm just not comfortable with that. I appreciate all the requests though because it is flattering that so many find her attractive!

HOWEVER,

You MAY get art with Candy or any of my other characters! Neither of these characters have emotional attachments to the real me so I'm generally fine with whatever you want to do as long as you run it by me first!

Who's going that would want to hang out/doodle and just chill?

So, while I'm sitting here at work a thought crossed my mind; since I'm largely a fetish artist, why not open engaging conversation to my watchers and myself about fetishes in general; why we enjoy them, what appeals us, ect. I want to do a different subjec every Friday and the the title, "fetish friday".

Since I'm mostly a fat fur artist, I figured that it would only be fitting to start with it!

Overview:

Fat fetishism is exactly what it sounds like, the physical attraction to overweight or obese individuals. A fetish that is somewhat condemned in modern society, it's surprisingly common and effects a lot more people than one might believe. Statistics show it typically is seen in the middle aged crowd, however it has become emote common with younger groups thanks to increasing support in the fat acceptance movement. Terms like "BBW" or "BBM" are often used to glorify and express the attractiveness of heavier people.


My Opinion:

Having been a fat chick most of my life, I was reluctant to embrace this fetish. In 2007, while dating , I was encouraged to be more open about my feelings on the matter and ended up using art as an outlet. I wa raised to believe that being overweight was not only unacceptable, but unhealthy. As I've gotten older and well, heavier, I've come to realize these things are not always true. For example, my weight is roughly 350 lbs, yet my doctor constantly finds herself frustrated because she can't find anything wrong with me despite my size.

Having always been a closet fat fetishist, I often found it hard to talk to anyone about given the taboo involved. I wasn't really confident with topic until I had been with someone who not only shared the idea but also found my size attractive.

Now, I'm still a bit hesitant about who to discuss It with, but I'm much more open about it with like minded company, though that awkwardness is still there at times given I'm a female that enjoys this fetish when the vast majority are males.
Sorry for the long winded intro, so let's get on with it.

I love fat. It's something I find attractive on both males or females and I can't help but notice it. I'm not sure why it registers as attractive in my mind, but it just does. It's visually appealing and incredible to the touch. I enjoy being fat and the "don't care" attitude that comes with it in regards to eating/dieting.

I find drawing it to be enjoyable, and entertaining and that's why I end up drawing it so often.

I just have a really busy real life these days, but I promise I'm seriously going to make an effort to be online more often. I may stay away from the net until Thursday; My 23rd birthday is coming up on Wednesday and it's putting me in a sour mood. Lots of regrets and such about how I never did the things I wanted to with life, wasted time with people who abused me, ect. DEPRESSING SHIT. That's not to say I don't have things to be happy/grateful about, it's just my birthday always reminds me of the promises I made to my younger self and never followed through on.

I have a free minute so I figured I'd give ya'll an update on my life;

Sorry I haven't been around; As most of you know my living situation has been pretty obnoxious but I will be moving out come January 1st so that will be a nice change!

After then, expect a huge dump of art and commissions, and after old commissions are done they will reopen, so keep an eye out.

The biggest change will be that commissions will be my sole income for rent/living SO my prices will be altered a bit. Just giving a head's up.

So, I got a few notes this morning that I was none too pleased with, so I figured I'd address the situation via a public journal.

First of all, when I draw Dite, my fursona, as a White Mage, the intention is not to mimic or bite off of anyone else. The real reason I draw my character as such is because from 2002 to 2010, I spent the majority of my free time playing the MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI.

Considering I spent most of my teenage years playing this game, I really wanted to incorporate the class I came to love, White Mage, into my character's design. Not only did I love the class, but I was pretty darn good at it c: If you ever played on the Kujata Server, I'm sure you've heard the name "Anuvia" around. As much as I love the original outfit design I've made a few tweaks given that hat is pretty ugly (and in my Linkshell, the WHM AF hat was commonly refered to as a condom). Asdie from the condom hat, I've tried to keep the outfit and even color of magic Dite uses as integral to the game as possible, as more of a tribute to the game that brought me so much fun as a teen.

I'd also like to point out that Dite being drawn as a mage is nothing new.. In fact, if you browse my gallery, You'll find a good amount of White Mage art. In fact, I've even commissioned art of Dite as a White Mage, and others have given gift art of her too.

There is nothing 100% original about being a "mage" in any sense of the term. I don't ever claim to be the only whm/fur out there, since that would be utterly delusional. Furthermore, using "magic" for a weight gain sequence is hardly original either; In fact I'd bet it's been done log before any furries thought of it, mmmyep. I can think of a few legends and myths from the time before Christ where cultures had established stories of this sort.

So to the few of you making accusations, Kindly get over yourselves, as you're not original as you think you are.
The fact that I had to make a journal explaining myself for why I essentially draw my character in cosplay is just ridiculous

SORRY EVERYONE;

I've kind of been on a mandatory Hiatus since about a week ago, the AC Adapter to my tablet pc died. And by died, I mean it started to make hissing sounds and then burning smells. I ordered a new on the same night mine died with the last of my computer's battery and despite paying extra for 3-4 day shipping, it's been a week and a half now and I'm still chargerless.

I will be resuming commissions and emails AS SOON as that adapter gets here since I'm seriously behind because of it. I have been able to check things from my 3DS, however typing is obnoxiously tedious and irritating.

I will say that once I get the new charger, I will be in SUPER WORK MODE, so if you do happen across me on a messenger, unless you're a commissioner PLEASE give me some space to play catch up.


I will post a journal as soon as the charger gets here along with an updated commission queue so everyone knows where they're at

Okay guys, so as we all know, there was a major disaster in Japan recently.

What some of us don't know is that the Midwest of the United States is getting decimated by flooding! There are cases of entire towns being put under 30+ feet of water, and it's only gotten worse since the levy's had to be broken. These poor people are in positions that have left them homeless and many have no home insurance.

There is something I wanted to address with all of you that concerned me at FC this year though;

I like meeting new people and I love talking and chatting with people; it's especially an honor to talk to folks who know of my work from online, BUT...

I've noticed a problem I run into with furs that recognize me, specifically from this account. If you see me in suit, please respect my personal space!

I'm always happy to strike up conversation with you guys and chat, but just because I'm a fat fur artist it doesn't mean I want you to grab my stomach, ass or breasts in person. It's a very uncomfortable situation for me, and at FC I was really unhappy with the number of people who actually did this.

To answer a few questions for all of you so you don't have to molest me in suit;
Yes, I am a girl IRL.
Yes, that is my real body and no, the body of my fursuit is NOT padded.
Yes, I am offended if you grab my stomach, tits or ass,
YES, You can hug me as long as you ask or hug me from the front.

If you do this to me at the con, I'll warn you once and if you continue, I'll report you to con ops. Weather you consider "belly grabs" sexual harassment or not, it's still a form of molestation to me and I really don't appreciate it. I hate to sound mean, but the experiences I had at FC really made me uncomfortable to the point where I stopped suiting half way through the con.

Also, if you see me in suit and want to chat, just ask. I'm not serious at all about being silent in suit, and if you'd like I can easily step aside and take my head off for a friendly chat.

If you were one of the people that did this at FC, I'm not mad. I played very nice and didn't flip my lid and I can understand that you may have gotten the impression that it was okay.

I have no idea what to bring/sell so I'm asking you guys! Afterall, you're what gives me my inspiration to share my art in the first place!
