Hello!
My apologies for the delay in responses. This is the original owner of Pufflets speaking and I wanted to inform everyone the species will be making a come-back (slowly).

General | Posted 5 years agoIt has been decided that Pufflets are now an open species.
This is mainly due to the owner leaving the fandom with occasionally checking the account for activities.
While it is an open species legendary traits has still be restricted and only available upon request.
It's still available but only with written permission. And yes it is free. Just drop a DM to the account to let us know you are interested.

Below is some very important updates that should be expected soon!
Please take the time to read it over and learn more.
● Ownership ●
EgyptianDragon1 has stepped down as co-owner of the species.
She is still an original creator and has every right to make any trait she wants.
However, pufflet species now is officially owned by witchess
● Official Base ●
We finally have our official base! Made special by byamby to be used, sold, and redistributed at our leisure.
This means a few things. Why not look at the perks below and judge for yourself!
The purchasable bases below will give the buyer access to selling adoptables, and custom pufflets.
However, you can only sell the Common Trait Pufflets. Please see our Guide if you are not sure what guidelines to follow.
These guidelines will be posted with the base and in a release journal.

● About Using My Artwork ●
Never is it allowed to remove the watermark/signature at any time.
- Unless the artwork is for the customer/bought for the customer do not use the artwork on any website or gallery. Approval/Removal can be given by us at any time. We retain all copyright to the images.
Uploading our Artwork on Websites, or Galleries is allowed only if credit is given to properly.
- Known Accounts: Pufflet / Egyptiandragon1 / Azolin
- Again, do not remove our signature/watermark.
- Do not copy, trace, or use without permission.
Do not commission, request, or do it yourself on the following:
- Editing our artwork. Do not in any way change our artwork.
- Color without permission. If you buy lines and have it colored without permission ; we will have it removed.
- Remove our watermark/signature.

Refuse completion at any time. This will result in a refund.
Refuse customers at any time.
ღ Adoptables ღ
Purchasing a Pufflet
- You can change the following list: Gender, Coloration, Hair Style.
- You can not chance the following list: Traits (*please see the list below for more detail on if you want to change traits)
Buying/Selling/Trading adoptables.
- Please do not sell your pufflet for more than you paid for UNLESS paid artwork/personal artwork is included.
- We would like to know where the pufflet ends up. It's not required we just like to know.
*Traits*
If you have say (example)Rare Eye Trait and want to change it to something else.
You can change it as long as it is a Rare traits and under; such as Rare, Uncommon, and Common traits.
- These changes must be notified to the Pufflet Page!

Refuse customers at any time.
We have the right to take back adopted character (as long as a refund or equal value is offered).
ღ Free Characters ღ
If you are being complicated, overly picky, demanding, threatening, or rude we will refuse.
- Do not being any of those things. We understand your character may be unique.
But if we miss something... Ask nicely. If we do not fix it, do not complain. It is Free.
Banning you from Free Art chances.
- If you becoming the above we will ban you from entering our chances.
- However, we am forgiving. If you apologize for your attitude then we will remove the ban.

Please be sure to understand and read the ToS before agreeing to any of our Commissions, Art trades, or Free Art Chances.
Do not want your free character anymore?
- We will happily take it back if there is no paid artwork. If there is paid artwork a discussion may be available.
- If there is no paid artwork with your free character please do not sell it/trade it away. It is free and should remain that way.

ღ MYO + Traits ღ
General Rules
- MYO slots are non-refundable from us, however you may re-sell the slot for the price you paid for it.
- MYOs cannot be traded as just an empty slot, only sold. They can only be traded as completed and approved designs.
- Finished and approved MYO designs can be resold for the slot's price, with price additives for any commissioned artwork you personally paid for, provided the artist allows it.
- Unless specified otherwise on individual sales/event posts, you may have someone else design your MYO for you.
- Designs cannot be used until they are officially approved by us.
- Once a design is approved, it can't be turned back into a slot unless exchanged through me during a trade-in event.
- Designs are subject to rejection based on similarity to existing designs and/or copyrighted material, or species rule-breaking.
- If your MYO is denied, please try not to take it personally. We will always try and give you ideas on how to fix your design's uniqueness.
- Outright plagiarism is not tolerated and if you try to slip it past the radar only for us to be notified about what you're doing, you risk being banned from our business entirely. Just don't do it.
- You are only allowed a number of traits paid for.
- Additional rules may be added to sales posts, so please be sure to read them before purchasing.
Once you purchase the slot, based on the guidelines provided in the sales post that show which traits you may use, you can then create your design.
Unless specified otherwise, designs may be created using a base, free-hand, or by commissioning an artist. (Please credit bases & artists accordingly.)
Once the design is complete, it must be noted to us for approval. We will try our best to answer any/all approvals within 48 hours, however if we fail to, feel free to note us again.
Once the design is approved, feel free to use it as you would any other! It's officially yours.

This is to help keep snow, or debris from getting in their ears which are extremely sensitive.
Many Pufflets will not let their puffballs be touched.
2. What sound do Pufflets make?
Pufflets make noises to communicate through Chitters and Squeaks.
They have sensitive hearing so its not very loud.
3. Are there other traits about their tails we should know about?
Pufflets' tails are coated in a natural oil their body produces, making them mostly waterproof.
This is to ensure that melting snow does not soak their tails to keep them fluffy.
4. If I breed my pufflets with ones that have special traits, what traits may be inherited?
Only common traits unless we authorize you to use anything more than that.
Any traits that are uncommon/rare/legendary/abnormalities may only be obtained from customs or adoptables.
5. May I make my own pufflet?
Yes! Please make your own using the bases we provide on this account or with your own drawing skills.
Just keep in mind only common traits are available openly and use the sheets provided as a guideline.
6. What are the Traits for Eyes? The sheet is unclear.
Common Traits: Normal Eye Color (solid color) and Mixed Colored (Left One Color/Right Another)
Uncommon Traits: Two Toned Eyes and Rainbow Eyes
Rare Traits: Eye Whites are a different Color and Blind Eyes
Legendary Traits: Misty/Galaxy Eyes and Hypnotic Eyes
7. What color limitations are there for pufflet fur patterns?
The only limitations are PURE colors. Meaning so solid white pufflet, no solid red pufflet, etc.
They always have at least two colors patterns.
8. Do Pufflets have a humanoid form?
Yes! However, this form is limited to Domesticated and Civilized pufflets only.
They use their magic to blend with society and communicate to humans and others.
