Twitter Just Keeps Getting Worse
Posted 3 years agoTwitter has felt completely different for a good while now but recently it's just felt oppressive.
With the kids getting into adult spaces and getting mad that queer adults draw porn and now the SURGE of tech bros saying shit like "I can't wait until artists actually start losing their jobs over the AI".
I got a random message from a throw away account just being rude and targeted out of nowhere several times this week. I don't think I really want to be on there anymore?
But what sucks is that Twitter is somehow the place that I get the most traffic and if I stop posting I lose that momentum.
Awful shit.
Also artist peers getting call out posts made about them because they draw erotic gore now lmao. It just reminds me of the time on Tumblr about 10 years ago or so where I was called out and told I was a 'necrophile' because of the gore I draw.
And you've seen the gore I draw; it's not malicious it's consensual and it's about affection.
I don't know; I'm tired of all of this nonsense and it's mainly coming from Twitter now and Tumblr seems to be the chill place ha ha ha.

jace is really going through it. He's in serious medical danger and has been in the hospital for a good while now. Bills are piling up and the hospital is starting to lock him out of treatments if he can't pay up.

Raising Money for Mom's Medical Bills
Posted 3 years agoMy Mom recently suffered a minor stroke leaving her unable to walk or move around at all without my help.
She was my caretaker as I'm physically disabled as well so it's been an insane amount of pressure (and pain) on me though I would do anything for her.
Unfortunately we are running pretty low on funds because she has four new medications she has to take monthly on top of the 4 she's already taking. We also have the hospital/ambulance bill and we also need to purchase some tools for her to use around the house that her insurance doesn't cover such as a blood pressure cuff and other things to help her get around more easily.
I have a ko-fi and as much as I hate asking for donations; this would be a good time to do so.
If you donate and leave a reference to a character I'll do a little doodle for you in exchange. It might take a good while as I'm VERY EXTREMELY busy and taking my free time for me but I will get around to it.
I would really appreciate if people shared this around; I could really use the help.

Posted 3 years agoI guess it's not just on Twitter now but I've seen SO many takes of 'if any character you make is quadruped and you draw them in nsfw then you're a zoophile' and I just...I don't get where this came from because I feel like no one gave a fuck if you drew quad dragons before now?
People understand that quadruped monsters aren't zoophilia challenge impossible.
I saw so many takes lately of centaurs/harpies/sphinx are 'problematic' as well and I just don't get it.
