Hey guys! I heard recently (and had to deal with a password change because of) that RA got hacked and a lot of folks moved to Weasyl! However, I haven't checked out the site myself, and I was wondering if putting some of my work over there would be worth the cross posting!

So does anyone have anything to say about Weasyl? Good/bad/neutral? I heard it's not truly a fur site, but mostly a catch-all site that many furs have populated since the hack. Lemme know what your thoughts are, any and all, if you have them!

Good god, has it really been a year since I logged on here?

Hello loyal followers! I'm so sorry for being dead for almost a year! I will be returning with a bit more frequency coming up in the future, and over the course of the week, I will be uploading images and getting myself resettled! I have some new commission information to share as well, so it will be good to get myself back into gear.

I hope everyone has been well over the last year! I look forward to providing you all with the content I have been making and sharing at other sites. I will also be uploading images to help promote my upcoming comic, Eidolon, so please keep an eye out for that as well!

WOAH sorry there everyone I kind of fell off the map there for a bit, didn't I? I would have opened commissions in March, but life swept under me like a rug and I had to deal with working more hours than I was used to, working two jobs, and then finally switching between jobs. Not only that, but I got swept up in a (not-so) mini Gravity Falls craze, which kept me mildly (in)sane throughout the process.

But I am back, and hopefully, opening commissions soon! I am all fresh and ready for art on my plate, so keep your eyes open for details! They will becoming in the following weeks, and I will want to get started as soon as possible. Thanks for sticking around guys, and see you soon!

Back in town after a few days out visiting family! It was a great trip but I totally did NOT expect to get completely snowed in the entire time I was there! >__< Lucily I wasn't really driving anywhere because my Dad was taking a look at my car to figure out why it was leaking transmission fluid. Now that it's all cleaned up, I'm back to my own place and hoping to get myself back into the commission game!

I have one commission to finish, but I should be posting a journal soon discussing my March Commission details! Nothing will be too much different from what I have now, but I'm hoping to have a full illustration commission + Reference sheet to add to my examples. If anyone wants to be my guinea pig commission for my first reference sheet, let me know! If not, I have plenty of characters to pull from that I can draw up for those interested.

Cleaned up my commission page, finally! I have used a lot of recent commissions I have gotten as the guide images, since they are the newest and probably the best examples of what my style is evolving into. Sadly I don't have my full spectrum of commissions up just yet, and there are a few more I would like to add to the mix, so stay tuned!

I have been getting better and more commissions lately which is really uplifting, and I am always looking for new clients! If interested, please check my rates and prices! as always, send me a note or email me if interested (email is in my profile section).

I'm especially looking for commissions involving REFERENCE SHEETS! I have never done a proper reference sheet for someone else and would love to give it a go. It would be mostly in my drawing/lineart style with flat colors. If anyone is bold enough to give me a go, I'd really appreciate it and promise to do a great job. ^__^

Sicne I didn't get a lot of bites on my icon commissions but I have had a few commissions since I opened them up, I can't help but wonder: What would my followers like to see? What would you want to buy?

I'm hoping to get more and more examples up for my work, such as making a ref sheet of one of my characters just to have a base to show to others and a basic price point, but I will say one of the best ways to get me motivated to post more art is knowing people may be interested in purchasing pieces similar to the ones I am posting!

So I ask: Are you guys interested in line art? Icons? Full-body illustrations? I'm thinking about pricing out some lineart/flat color commissions, especially if the interest is there.

...Okay okay okay, I've been here for almost a year now and having 50 watchers is *not* that big of a deal. I mean, I was hardly active this first year, and I got caught up in a lot of things like life and work and other such nonsense.

This year, however, I plan on making a larger effort in the community scene, plus actually getting art up and out and actually posted! It's been a long time since I've done anthro-esque art but I hope to really have some things to submit! I'm also hoping to fill a larger commission quota, since I got 0 last year (okay again I wasn't trying as hard as I should have) so just getting 1 this year would be a step in the right direction!

Either way, keep a lookout for more art! I have a new fursona on the way, plus her best friend, a preview of which you can check in my scraps! She's a real sweetie, and much more feminine than I am in real life. I hope you all will love her as much as I do.

I still feel relatively new to the site here and I don't have many followers (yet... ohohoho), but I wanted to drop by to give a quick "Happy New Years!" shout out to everyone around the globe!

Though I don't post too much yet, it is part of my new year resolution to become more active and engaged on the site overall. I came here with the intent of setting up commissions, but I have barely made headway in that department. x3 Other resolutions include getting more dedicated to my art, starting to focus on it more, getting out of my current job situation and into one that I am more comfortable and stable with and pays me better hourly. Either way, keep your eyes and ears open, I plan on having some new art up soon, including a real live fursona! Not a fursuit, per se, just a fursona, one I can actually use here in all of my advertising, etc.

After my last two uploads, I got a ton of followers and favorites, so I just wanted to give a quick shout out to say thanks! I'm still walking on wobbly sea legs while here, so seeing all the good words is a big confidence booster. Hello hello everyone! I'm getting myself settled in still and I'm technically talking to NOBODY AT THIS POINT (I have no followers or watchers... crey), but hopefully soon people will start popping up in all the right places and will eventually read this. I'm going to use this site as a way to post my images as well as reach out for more commissions, which I have been dying to do since there are so many amazing characters out there waiting to be drawn.

So please bear with me as I construct my way through this whole furaffinity shin-dig! I do not make or wear fursuits myself but I know those who do, and they are pretty cool folks (I don't hate~). I also dn't have much in the way of a fursona anymore, but I do like mongooses and will probably draw them a lot in my spare time.

OH AND BEFORE I LEAVE! A little bit about me! I am Lauren, I am a 24-years-old illustrator residing in Columbus OH. I am a 4w3 ISFP Chaotic Good Gryffindor and I enjoy personality typing, animals, and drawing. I am currently working on a graphic novel of sorts called Eidolon, which is still in the WIP stages. I'm hoping to post drawings and content here to FurAffinity, that way people can follow and see how I progress on that in the future. I love dachshunds and I think bearded vultures are pretty snazzy.
