I did not mean to be gone for a year

Uh hey what's up, I stepped away from the majority of social media to reevaluate my life and priorities and I am doing much better now. I am trying to be more active on art sites outside of discord again so I'll be making an effort to be more active in a few places like here! I'll be putting up some of the art i've been doing the past year soon as I do not stop drawing every day so I def have a lot I can share.
My commissions and such have been reevaluated also and my Carrd is updated with current socials and commission info with my newer painting style so check it out if you're interested.

Most openings are done via my Discord server which you can request a link from me VIA Note, however you may also request to be put on a waitlist and I will contact you the next time I'm open.

I would like to be incredibly clear that at most my Patreon will only have exclusive wip views of my images. I'm not going to lock anything behind paywalls. Everything will be posted to my galleries still, Patreon will just get the images first.

Whoops.
Anyway I have moved across country from Florida to Oklahoma and am a full time freelance artist now! I love it.
Thanks for all the support! I know I'm real quiet, discord is a lot easier for me than thinking of something to write in a journal like this haha.

Posted 8 years agoI came home today and there was blood everywhere that was cool.
As far as I can gather my roommate's cat took a chunk out of my cat's tail. I rushed her to a clinic and she needs about $500 worth of work. Stitches, meds, cone ect. Thankfully they have a very nice payment plan, but that is still a lot of sudden money.
Anyway commissions will help me a lot right now because I did make a hefty down payment to get a chunk of it out of the way but my rent is also due in 5 days.
Full body commissions are 25$ For one Character. Additional characters (up to 3) is 15$ per character. I can draw any species, humans, furries, quads/ferals as well.

I'm glad I've been (mostly) keeping up with Inktober... But I'm starting to get impatient for it to be over so I can focus on digital stuff again haha @__@;

2016 Aspirations

I am not one to make resolutions, because saying "I AM GOING TO DO THIS" usually ends in me beating myself up pretty hard over not getting that thing done and it seems to be bad luck in getting me to 100% not get that thing done, so instead I'm just going to blather about what I would like to do this year as far as my future in art goes.
I want to draw all the time, I really do, but I have some serious motivation issues that stem from anxiety and depression that I cannot afford treatment for, so I power through every day like a boss and try to draw when I am motivated to. (Which ends up being once a month usually) I am 100% the happiest when I am super productive with drawing, I do know that for sure.
I looked through my older art, and really enjoyed the things I did in 2010-2012. I feel like it was a lot livelier and happier and I was willing to experiment more. I think part of my issue is that I am not a part of a creative community at all anymore. I used to be a part of several Oekakis and chatrooms that would like draw and share things with each other. I really loved doing things like that. But I have issues with talking to people now that I did not have before. (Which stems from issues I had with people in some of those chatrooms and fallings out with them) I would like to get into some chatrooms again, (Been considering IRC, but I am not sure where to go.) and just become a part of some creative community again where I can share art with others and see art consistently.
I am happy with a lot of my improvement. I love my characters and my style. I really just want to learn more, but I get anxious and easily frustrated with trying new techniques because I don't really know how to tackle them. (IE: painting + color theory + scenery) I am trying my best to get over that and just try anyway because I know that is the best way to learn. Either way, I want to draw more and be more active in the art world. I want this to be my life. I want to make comics and entertain people.
