So - i ended up getting really bored. It's great to talk about AC on here like... all the time(I just did again..) But, I feel like otherwise... i'm keeping it a big secret. I'm gonna talk a bit about my personal side now - Something i don't do much nearly at all (especially in drama ridden places....) :P

Now - i work for a hospital and so does my mom (we work together a bit..) and I stopped by this morning to have lunch with her in the cafe at the hospital. I brought only one thing with me - my black moleskine and my smaller moleskine editing book. While at lunch i cracked it open and started reviewing some of my work (i'm currently writing a children's book) My mother asked me a bit about it and I ended up telling her the gist of the story. But i don't think she quite understood what I meant... so I actually ended up reading what bit of the book I actually had re-edited to her. Then I explained the ending roughly and what happens. It wasn't until after I shut my yap that I actually noticed that she was crying O_O I have a feeling that had to have had something to due with the fact that the book was about mothers and how much they love their children (is trying not to give away details because I would like to publish this someday...)
I was just taken a bit aback by this though - and finally started to talk to my mom about doing some charity work at the hospital. specifically sighting the children's ward. But i made no mention of suiting. Though she did ask...

Thinking about going down to the children's ward made me really want to suit in a very bad way (plus I don't have many GOOD pics of my half suit which is what everyone will see at AC) so I packed Purn up in my plastic zip tote and hopped in the Jeep. I picked up Blau from his job (we aren't mates anymore, but we're like... beyond really good friends... we get along better not being together :? eh... ) and I drove us to the "local" arcade. I told him I had Purn in the back and that I wanted to suit a bit. He had a bad day... and week.. and was depressed about things (he has a lot going on in his head...) and we talked about his mental state and agreed to play some DDR. I asked if he would want me to suit (or care...) and he didn't seem thrilled. So we just went upstairs in the arcade and busted out with some DDR. After we were both finally pooped from playing too many songs, we went down to get drinks and back to the car. I asked him if he would at least take some good pics for me of my half suit. He agreed and I eagerly dawned Purn. We stayed outside by the car for a bit and I danced around and he took some very nice pics. But I started to get thirsty and I stole his drink, but.. it was small and ran out quick - so of course we had to go in to get another one!! and I didn't take Purn off.

We wondered about the arcade for a while and we still had tokens left, so I played a few games in suit. While walking around we came across a few mothers with young children (toddlers) and I got to play with them for a bit. The children were just darling! :3 Most of the ones brave enough to come up close enough for a hug were young ladies. I had a few young gentlemen run up and want a hug or highfives. But they were all very sweet and it was a very interesting thing to have. The children have no fear - they just run up and want a hug - and even some of the parents laughed and played and tried to get some of the kids more involved. It's funny how most people won't trust another fleshy human being, but something huge cute and fluffy for some reason is worthy of trust - trust enough to play with ones own children. I mean - I don't have a mean bone in my body - and especially I would NEVER EVER hurt a child! But that's the power of masks and costumes. It lets people open up and lose their inhibitions. That small moment of a real hug from a child with the mother near by, of course, saying "awwww" is much more human then we would get on a normal basis. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to step out and transcend normal human behavior and emotions.

So after getting pics and meeting someone new at the arcade we headed home (well i was actually going to my parents house. ) I wanted to show my mother my half suit and see what she thought. I was looking for backing and encouragement to do some charity work. But she was asleep. I ended up developing a headache (probably from being in the suit longer then I would've had it - but the kids were so cute!) and relaxed on my parents couch and watched some TV (a foreign thing to me since I don't have TV) Finally when my brother and his wife (who were also visiting) were leaving I found that my mother was awake and I presented her with my suit. I was half expecting to get the "OMG FURRIES!!" reaction - especially from my brother, but that didn't happen at all actually! My mother was impressed and my brother was to the point of asking me if I could make a storm trooper helmet XD

We got into talking about me making costumes for a living and different things on the topic and it made me think for a bit. My brother explained to me a few ways I could network my way into getting a job at a company somewhere. And it doesn't seem like a bad idea. It is fun to make the suits. Just a lot of work.

So - in short - they don't "know" i'm a furry, but they at least like my costume! :3 which... makes me happy enough for now.

Today - was a VERY good day!

Welp... I'm all registered for AC this year, but... I still am working on my car. I dunno what i'm gonna do about that. *shrugs* need to get the LD from my mechanic ...

Anyway - i'm excited to go! And i'm really hoping to meet a special someone there :3

and i got my police doggy registered for his B-day present. :3 He's so happy! He got sponsor too... cuz I'll be damned if I'm staying in line for hours O_O


we're going to drive down ... early most likely. and my friend and her mate are going to room with us... though I haven't gotten THAT far as to where yet...

the westin is full and I'm not going to get on the waiting list.

SO howdy everyone!

My b-day was on the 8th - i am now 20 years old. :3
My b-day was kinda tough with the way my family situation is,but it was nice all the same. Made me a little sad, but everyone was so nice to me.

so the reason i haven't updated much? February is a very busy month for me.

and now that i'm older i have taxes to add to the that and car registering and inspection making this a very hurried month (plus it's like the shortest freakin month lol)

So for my b-day i got 3 lovely things. i got a wii bag(bowling bag) and cooking mama (the freakin most funny game ever!) and the lovely mate got me something for my other passion (yes i like to do things outside of furriness...) - he got me a lovely vera bradley messenger bag to take all my knitting around with me. :D i love them all!

I will get back to doing something that i can post soon... plus i'll post when i find my camera cable o_O

Anyway - Here is an awesome update.

I know a few people have asked for some tutorials and howto things on heads and suits. Well, it just so happens my Sista from another Mister finally asked me for a commission (*JOY!*) so now I actually have something to work on to show people. Her head is coming out fine so far - she is an all back house cat. Fairly simple right? WRONG!!!! omg!! kitties!!! they have the short pudgey noses and the huge ears (that I made sooo pretty I want to steal and put on my own head... ._.) but all and all it's coming out well. Foam head tutorial will be up probably tonight or tomorrow.

Head/suit poses different challenges then mine or my mates. First it's an all back cat... no lines... no color... just black. SOOOO - I have to really think this suit through before I finish it. Like adding more eye expression with a brow line and some cheeks. Later the body suit is gonna be interesting with having to try and make it seem femme chic!
luckily she has granted me the power of 2 different types of fur (ALLEHULA!) one is my favorite type of mink faux fur - and the other is a cheapish shag(yeah baby - yeah!). So hopefully the 2 will be useful in making a contrast.

oh yeah and the mate got jealous so i'm doing a major overhaul on his head too and making it presentable. ._.

So a new years is coming up - this is the last weekend of the year. So what have I done? Hmmmm... well I improved on my art a bit. started a fur suit (should finish it... almost done.... could finish it this weekend. ) My Pc is fixed... even though it turned out to be just the RAM... (it's always the freakin RAM) ... and I'm trying to look forward to a new year a lots of new doors and things that open up with it. ALL the possibilities. Looking forward to new friends and people that I'll meet.

So I guess this was just a quick post to get the old one out of the way. So - Happy New Years to everyone I know! Hope it's a good year full of wonderful things for you all!

So... my pc exploded... well at least windows anway. Now honestly its not a big big deal... but... I miss all my art. I'm waiting to wipe my hardrive till after I've worked out a slave system for it so I can grab all my art and music. So... besides that I would show you pics of my mates full suit. It came out rather well. I'm very proud of myself. Sewed the whole thing together by hand. My fingers need a rest after all that stabbing and work. But I'm working on a head for purpurn now. I got some purple fabric and the head is coming out lovely (or sexay as the mate says...) so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with Rot then. I haven't decided to keep or sell it yet. I may just keep it for friends who wish to partake in the suiting sport. I'm gonna register for AC soon and I'm gonna sponser some god cause as well probably. Have to check what cherities they are doing...
And anyone that went to AC 06' and remember or saw malroo the flipping fox at the dead dog party you may get another peek at his gravity defying tricks. Only he will be sporting his real fursona as his malamute Blau in the fursuit I made him. My mate is training as we speak for this next AC to give another preformance. So seek me and Blau out if and when we go. (I'll post pics of us when I get the time so you can all find us)
Speaking of AC - we're hoping to meet some other fursuit couples. Its fun to have friends of our own and what not, but couples friends are awesome. I would be so happy to make friends with another female fursuiter. It would be fun to travel in a pack around the con and suit all together. So any suiters that are looking for friends - say hi! :D
Also - if you suit and have a problem with your suit (say something ripping or a seam popping) seek me out! I'll be bringing my sewing things with me just incase. I'd be happy to fix a suit if someone needs it. Or if ya would like to barrow some sewing things I'll have needles thread and thimbles. :3

Well -I got paid and where did most of my money go to (other then rent of course?) FUR.
I went to the local fabric store and got around $100 worth of fur for both me and my mate (the blue fur was on sale! what luck! )
We also got foam ... boat loads of foam for $2.00. THAT'S RIGHT 2BUCKS! it was amazing. So what have I been doing since i got home? Making my head. And I'm almost done. So if i finish or get close to finishing, you'll all see a pic or 2 this week.
Also ... something a little different (if I can find the pic guh!)

So in a show of good faith - I'm most likely (not yet determined) going to a con possibly.
The plan is to get my mate back on his feet - but I will most likely know better to if this plan is working by the end of the month or not.
I made a deal with him - If he gets a good stable job - works hard, then I will help him make a Fursuit, get a reservation, and we will both go Fursuiting at AC.
Finding work for him has been hard for the past few months (this month will determine what sort of a job he will be getting...due to some situations) So as some incentive to get a job and have something to work towards - I have agreed to go to at least one con. (because the idea quite frankly is hard for me to even think about... )
So there are two Trade offs in this situation - Hopefully my mate will be more responsible and have something to work toward and look forward to. And as for me - I would be doing something WAY out of my comfort zone trying something new. And.... even though I already work my ass off for this kid... I think I honestly don't do enough of what maybe HE is interested in... So maybe this will be good to do something that we might both enjoy that I know he already does. Really the most important thing to me is spending time together - it doesn't really matter much what we're doing. And so long as he doesn't take off and leave me on my lonesome to get lost... then I don't really see a real problem with the idea.
*slumps* now the next step is planning out a whole 2 suits (i'm not sure if I want a halfie or not... may just go for another whole one like his... but we will see... ) and 2 working heads.
The heads will have moving jaws and "Follow me" eyes. I've looked into all these things and have found out good ways to make them (i really wouldn't mind making the heads - i like sculpting... it'll just take a lot of time..)

I'm still very displeased with the ideas of the room parties and the underage drinking. DO NOT think that I'm eased up on that... There are always good examples of people and bad examples of people... just most of the furs I know are the bad examples...
Don't try and put the positive spin out there on me... I live with too many bad people (furs) in the area.... And i'm still not one to trust my life away to nearly anyone. I'm really nice if you know me in person - but I'm strong and i'm not quick to trust... sorry.

Anyway - i'll leave the post of Blau's suit idea (rough idea) in my new pics... I'm working on his things first to try and get him motovated. :3 Anything on me will come later - much later...

Heyo - Yep. Honestly, I'm not sure how many of you guys still look at my page... it's been such a long time. O_O i know.. I'm sorry. I haven't updated in soooo long. However... Perhaps I may drop a picture - non the less I am alive. I have internet for but a blip of a moment.
And today kids... since it seems to be that the season is winding down from it - I would like to take this second to talk about Fur Suits.

Yes... I have a halfi. But I do not prance around in it around the neighborhood or the mall. ... or airports (around mine I'd likely get arrested...)
In general - on the whole. I find them creepy. VERY creepy.
As I have mentioned I have one. I made it. It only took this novice one week to create. The thing is though - I made it for halloween. Not Furfright... Not furlloween... no con at all. I don't even wear it around other furs. I made it as a normal halloween costume and that's all.
As for cons. I doubt i'll ever go to one. Because in reality - they are aweful. I'm not a post college rebel or a highschool drop out that only wants to go to a con for the random sex, drugs, and alcohol. And on the top of that... there are boat loads of PEOPLE in fur suits. (I say people, because you are people - furs do not really exist in real life.) Furry is not a life style.
As for me - I still do draw the art for this "fandom" of fetish loving hord. But I, unfortunately have a life and future plans.

I know I will make a big ripple with this..(or at least ruffle some feathers.) however, it's something that I think needs to be said. I'm too tired of people trying to get me to go to cons, or to dress up as a furry with them. It's not my thing. Had to rant... that's all - i'm outtie

well yeah. so actual life grabbed me by the balls for the past few months. Honestly though. things have gotten sooooo much better. I turned 19, got engaged, got a better job, and moved out of our friends house. I am now renting my own apartment. My fiance, long time love and high school sweetheart, Blau. <3 So that was a basic recap on my past few months i've been MIA.

in actuality though, i have been making art. a lot of you who know me very well have thought that i have been depressed and not making art (how do THOSE two ideas go together?????) honestly though i have quite a few new things. cute and porno grade alike. >_> ... <_< **and might i say, some of the porno grade shit is leaps and bounds better them what i was doing before... with some full on fap shots! **

so once my darling Blau finds drivers for his scanner, expect a somewhat hefty art dump. I have also even been getting in touch with some old buds and have taken some commissions for badges and some small art favors. AC is coming up, and perhaps I will do some more badges this year. they aren't too bad. I don't know if I wish to keep a set medium for them though. hand art tends to be easier (more portable) also my desktop got a nasty SOMETHING...i think i need to get a dual core and set up vista.... i think XP is getting to the end of its life span. my pc is slow as shit and its hard to do much of anything. my parents pc got so bad it had to be reformatted. I should back up my art while i still have the chance.

so just to let everyone know i am still alive and kicking. and to XP, i raise my blue Hawaiian Punch, It's been a good ride. May microsoft rest in peace.

Okay well first off let me say... FIRE!! O.o yes - there was indeed a fire over the past week. Last thursday actually. My mate and I were relaxing and little did we know that our friend decided to cook. Actually... deepfry. He left a sauce pan of oil on the stove and came down stairs with us - my mate and I had no idea it was left ON. All the sudden we hear the upstairs fire alarm go off and me and my mate are the first to rush up. My mate ran to the living room to check for cigs and candles that might have started it - there was smoke everywhere! I ran to where the smoke was thickest- the kitchen...
Flames were almost to the ceiling the oven hood was black and thick smoke was pouring out of the hellish sight. I screamed for my mate! Our friend rushed to the room and I stood and watched as he picked up the pot and tried to dump it in the sink dropping it there because of the heat. He tried to put it out with water (which keep in mind you NEVER do with oil and grease based fires! And I know why now...) and the flames lept out of the pot and danced everywhere! The curtains in the window caught on fire and started to go up in smoke! I couldn't believe what I just saw.
My mate rushed in to the kitchen and I ran to the bottom of the stairs and yelled at our friends sister to get out! We ran outside barefoot in the snow - calling the neighbors to get help! They called the fire department and we waited. Our friend sister started to cry and flip out. I hugged her and told her we were okay. Finally my mate and our friend came out - they said it was under controll and put out - but we had the fire department come anyway. I put our friends sister in my car to stay warm and went back up to the house. The fire department came and I looked at Blau. His hoodie was burnt and melted all down the front - he was luck that none of it melted to him. I went to hold his hands and they were burnt. By that time he still had bits of melted curtain on him.
He had grabbed the burning curtains and pulled them down to stomp them out. With no regard for his own safety he saved the house. The fire department left and the inspection came. Our friends family rents a condo. We've been staying in their basement for a while. Hiding. If they found that we had been there all along we all would've been in trouble. We scrambled to make it look like we never lived there. Best we could in 5 minutes. After that our neighbor helped tend to my mates hand, but he needed a hospital. I called my mother who works at the same one I do and told here we were coming in. Blau protested - half out of fear of my mother (I sometimes fear her myself... long story...) and half out of debt. I shoved him in my car and took him there. He needed medical care - I didn't care about cost. I would gladly pay anything for his wellbeing. We were in the ER for about 3 hours. Short wait considering the way hospitals work.
He spent time with everyone after I passed out in the basement. He woke me up some hours later to tell me the power had gone out and we needed to move. We would have froze. The only place we had to go in the middle of the night was to my house. Neither one of us is very welcome there - but I snuck him in. We needed warmth and a place to rest... that was all.
I'm just glad to have my Blau. I'm sad he was hurt - but it makes remember that things could always be worse. It's sad that it takes things like this to make to remember how important things are to you, but I think we al need it sometimes. Besides that though - Blau and I are moving out -and soon! We can't stay with our friend for long. They are inspecting like crazy now. And we can't put our friends family at risk any longer. So we are going to find an appartment very soon. Either this month or the end of next. So despite these slight set backs... things are looking up. I think we're all just happy to be alive...

Its true! I'm alive and kickin!

I have about 3 months of work to post, but can't untill I get a stable way to post. I just got a sidekick which allows me to look at you guys's posts and read messages to me. I'll have to steal my mates lappy to post something substancial. He has a lot of my recent work on there anyway.
Right now though we're (well I AM) looking for a place to live. Hopefully an appartment somewhere close to my work. And hopefully we can get some internets going there.
Right now though we're in some really bad weather- ice storms causing accidents and blackouts. 8/ so.... yeah.
Anyway - I am alive and plan on posting sometime soon - whenever I get a free moment to relax at our coffee shop and steal some wifi. So I hope to see yous guys soon! :3

well - i know i didn't update about this at all much... but i actually made a half suit for myself :3 *so proud!*

anyway - it's a VERY half suit....

i have a head((which is actually a mask that i made... but it lets me use my hair too.. ))

my tail ((which is actually my really old tail that i made like... over a year ago... o.o - i seriously need to revamp that... eep! it's getting floppy))

and my paws!!! ((they are only hand paws - but zomg! i am so proud of how those came out!! other then my head - i think those are the best part of my costume! they have pads and claws too! they are UBER soft and very comfy to wear! the favorite part of my fluffy self!))

anyway - this was all done in time for halloween of cours :3 i plan on making a short public appearance before then though - probably hitting the kinda local mall. i bought a bag of fun size skittle bags and i intend on walking around- having lots of pictures taken - hugging lil' kids and giving out candy - that sort of thing :3 i'm pretty sure if i went my mate would go with me. he's a really good picture taker too - so i'm sure he'll have fun doing that. :3 but i hope to post pics of my fluffy funness very soon! - see you all after halloween! ((my holiday! :P ))

autumn is here and it's getting chilly!!! :D i luff it! i even made a scarf this year and it's great and green and lovely!! yay! ...... eh...

okay for peeps that wanted to know how to do this....

what you need :

one guitar pick ((or many... ))
paint brush
tooth pick
push pin
sand paper or a nail file
acrylic paints
and spay sealer ((i use Krylon clear matte finish))
- of course any other sort of things that you would want... ya know... beads... string.... chain, ... whatever..

1.) first - push a hole threw where ever you are going to hang it from with the push pin. - so long as your using a plastic sort of guitar pick - this should be fairly easy. - it's pretty much what i do.... just be careful not to stab yourself ((something i also do quite easily X3))

2.) sand down the pick - scratch it up! scuff it!! make it rough! this helps the paint stick. :3

3.) put down a base coat of whatever color of paint you want. and then let it dry.... i found that this project is a lot of waiting for this small thing to finish drying.... paint whatever you desire on it really. the tooth pick comes in handy for detail work. wait for it to dry. :3

4.) after your paint is dry - take it to a WELL VENTILATED AREA! i'm telling you this shit is bad!!! but it works. spray the painted surface with the finish - let dry. come back and do a few coats - 3 or 4 for myself.

5.) put on... whatever you want.... make it your own i guess. :3

the krylon spray i use specifically is Matt Finish 1311 - Permanent, protective matte finish - eleminates glossy sheen - non-yellowing - moisture resistant - dries in minutes ((har har))

but that's about it - heh. seems simple... takes me ... now maybe half a day to make one or one like it... :P but i take my time..

okay.... sooo... my arm wasn't really better - it's still pretty F-ed up X3
i'm still working though or trying to. kinda trying to ease back into it.... ((plus i need to find sketches!! O.O;; )) anyway - i'm open to OC with people still. and since i'm bored and curious ((and actually curious to see if anyone will reply)) i'm taking a poll to find things out :P

okay - so to update. my shoulder is finally better from having a shit kicker of a fitt. i'm going to get back to working on some back logged commissions ((after warming up again... buh... )) and hopefully get those out. i also have a few tasty things in mind for some peeps. >:3
and.... over all... i'm single.......................... still. half by choice and half because of reccent events.... SO - OC date offers are still up. lol - want to be wined and dined .... uhm.... in picture form??? X3 anyway - yeah. still lookin.... still lookin.........

yeaaaaaaaaahhh... sooo... my arm is f-ed up for a bit. i have an issue with my shoulder that comes up every now and then. i think i can actually pop it out of it's socket o.o;;; which isn't a good thing by any means. but... i don't know what i did to it this morning, ... or lastnight... but it hurts really bad. sooooo for a while i'm gonna be on a strict diet of Advil and Ice Packs X3 whoo hoo! while i let that recoup i'll probably wear my wrist brace too. haven't in a long time, but while i work on making my shoulder feel better, why not my wrist too? my left shoulder is starting to present some issues as well, but of course i don't use that one for drawing X3 so ... that shoulder i could give a damn about.. i will poke around peoples pages while i recover though :3 and be back to sketching as soon as i can! :3

yay - so .... if anyone has ever found me on myspace - you probably already know about him. but i got a new mate! :D his name is matt and he's a border collie. he's in the service and that's okay with me! :3
he's sweet and honest. and not mention - i'm already over the moon crazy about him! he's in Japan at the moment. kinda far away. but we stay in touch and he calls me, and everything. :3 so it's not so bad. i can't wait for him to come home though. he makes me really really happy like no one in a long time has. :3 and i make him happy so everything works out.
he's gonna send me a set of his dog tags ((hopefully anyway :P )) and i'm gonna be soooooo happy about that X3
