I mean, I applaud them for going through the trouble and making a pretty good quality movie, but some of the lines are PAINFULLY cliche and over exagggurated. In my opinion, I hope that no one thinks that this is what furries are like.

So yeah! Apparently there is a whole month dedicated towards bully prevention and stuff. I feel like this a very great initiative since I myself as well as many others around me have been subject to bullying in the past. It really can have detrimental effects for not only the initial moment of the bullying, but for perhaps someone's entire life.
For those of you who have been bullied just know that what is said or done to you does not reflect who you truly are. Each and everyone one of us is a unique and needed individual. We all have gifts that have been given to us and we are all on this earth together to progress, learn, and love with each other. Remember the words of those who truly love you, and don't pay mind to those who barely know you. You are who you are for a reason, and no one should ever take that away from you.
Love all of you guys. Hope you all have a good Bullying Prevention Month ^_^

I went with my usual posse,
zip-the-fox and 
Kye-the-dragon, but I of course can't fail to recognize my thug nasty SoCal BroCal 
Coyotl.
We got there Friday and got some Denny's before enjoying the con. It was soon enough that I got to see all of my wonderful friends that I haven't seen ever since I left for my mission. Glowsheep was there! I hadn't seen that girl in a looong time. It was so wonderful to see her again after all these years ^_^. We also met some wonderful artists at the artist alley
DJSammehfox and Gubs. I don't think I have ever met anyone who gave me a round of applause for having male genitalia XD. Good times ^_^ and thank you girls! Most of all I got to see my fellow Tae Kwon Do Fur 
Ferloo ^_^. It was great catching up with all of you guys and dancing the night away that Friday.
Saturday was definitely the highlight. Even though I had what me and Zip called "Redback" (Sunburn) from the excessive swimming that we were doing, we enjoyed even more swimming and con shenanigans. It was later that day when I was preparing for the Dance Competition that I got to meet Tigsy (if anyone knows her FA, please let me know ^_^;). She was such a sweet girl, and fun to be around ^_^. Special thanks goes to all of those who particiapted and
Mangusu who ran the whole thing. I ended the night with some Karaoke and some last minute dancing.
Sunday was a blast because me and my posse went to DISNEY WORLD :D. A good friend of mine was able to score us some free tickets. All the rides were amazing. I got to meet Stitch ^_^ *wags* and I got to give a shout out to my girl Princess Leia when she needed help. "Help us Star Tour, you are our only help" "You got it baby!" XD. Good times.
All in all a wonderful experience that I don't plan on forgetting ever. Thanks everyone for making my first con back at home after all these years a fantastic one. ^_^ *wags*

Welp it's been a little more than 6 months so that means I shall be moving back to my beloved Georgia. Yaay :D *wags*
I just wanted to make a short Journal dedicating to all the wonderful people that I was able to meet here up here in Utah and Idaho. It is really cool to able to go from one state to another and recieve the same kind welcome from my fellow furries ^_^.
I had a lot of fun times, and I really am going to miss all of you guys. Thanks again for the good times, and I can't wait to see you guys next Winter and Spring. Keep in touch and stay cool guys!

At the moment I am feeling under the weather. It has been a while since I have felt sick like this, but I suppose I was overdue ^_^;;.
Anyway physical health aside things at school are going good. Anatomy and Physiology is quite a hefty class, but I am still enjoying learning all the cool things our bodies can do. I just got done studying the heck out of the muscles so now I know most of the muscles by heart. Sweet! :D
The end of the school year is just around the bend for me. I'm super excited to get back to my good old homeland of Georgia. I get home on July 22, so for those of you who wanna start a countdown go for it ;).
I will be attending Megaplex this year. I didn't think that I would be able to, but it turns out that my usual posse are able to do it as well. So I will be cruising down with zip-the-fox and Kye-the-dragon. I appreciate you two, and words cannot describe how excited I am to be able to see all of my old southern friends. It has been 2 and a half years. Too long!

General | Posted 13 years agoI think we need to be aware of this horrific act. It really does make me mad when people like this ruin the fandom for others. I have to deal with people flinging stereotypes at me all the time, and just when people are beggining to trust us, crap like this happens.

Lets all work hard to educate people around us. Don't hide it! If people are curious, communicate calmly and clearly who we are, an art fandom. Whether it be 2D drawn art, 3D sculptures or costumes, or acting while in costume, all of it has brought us together and formed bonds that we would not have expected to be formed. I for one have met so many wonderful people because of the commonalities we share. This fandom means a lot to me, and it would do the world good to educate them of the positives that clearly trump over the negatives of the fandom.

General | Posted 13 years agoIdk. I'm in the mood to ramble about my life and such. So here ya go guys :D
Well lets see. Still a fricken furry and still doing college stuffs here in the little town of Rexburg Idaho ^_^. I'm really enjoying myself here and I am learning a lot about myself. Lately I feel like I have gaining greater confidence of who I truly am and the kind of potential I have. Most of that is due to my Interpersonal Communication class. My teacher pointed out how we see ourselves based upon the opinions of others and how we compare ourselves towards others. I realized that I had perhaps put to much importance on people who indicated that I was socially inept, so I considered myself though. However, I realize that that isn't true. I mean I have plenty of friends and such, and I have a wonderful life. ^_^. So yeah that is what I have learned about that
I'm enjoying my other classes too. Anatomy is pretty tough, but that's expected. I'm also taking a Racquetball class which is SUPER fun! I love the techinque and quick reaction involved. Plus I could even just play by myself and take out my frustrations on the little rubber ball XD.
Well how about more juicy news. I got into a relationship with this girl who was a good friend of mine back in Georgia. She was a very tolerant and intelligent girl, one of the few people who didn't have a problem with the whole furry thing, which was a definite plus. Sadly however she dumped me recently. I kind of saw it coming given the fact that she seemed to becoming more and more distant as time went on. I was happy though because I really didn't want her to feel obligated to be in the relationship just for my benefit. My only concern was her happiness, so I was happy that she was honest with me instead of humoring me for a long period of time and then dropping me.
So with that I was feeling kind of down and decided to visit a good of friend of mine Tenki-101. It's a 4 hour drive from here to his house, so I rented myself a car (using a company called We Car, which is why it was possible for me even though I am 21) and cruised down the highway spitting sunflower seeds and blasting Metallica, Mika, and other fun stuff that I could sing at the top of my lungs at. I got there and we just hung out at a strip mall and watched movies. He's such a sweet guy. The next morning we went to Church together since we are both Mormon. All in all it was wonderful seeing him and his family. It was really what I needed after a hard week.
So I guess all in all. I'm doing alright and learning a lot. My semester ends on July 20 and I fly back on the 22, so I'm super excited to see all my southern friends again ^_^.
I suppose that's all I got to say for now. Hope everyone else is doing good. Keep in touch and stay fuzzy guys ;)

Goin to Provo!

I thought it appropriate to let everyone know that I'm headin off to Provo for a about a week to visit some family and friends. By the off chance any of you guys live around there let me know and send me a note my way!
Anyway things are still going well for me. I have officially finished my first semester of college and I will be heading into my second during the Spring. I'm gonna be diving into my major, Health Science, so I will be taken anatomy classes and stuff. Yays! Anyway wish me luck and stay cool fuzz butts!

The end of Furidaho is here! *EDIT*

So Furidaho was very wonderful experience. Got to do the whole shabang.
So Saturday was up and down for me. It was still really fun, but it was a bit hard for me since I didn't have my partners in crime zip-the-fox, kye-the-dragon and roryhusky. I was really missing those guys.
However, I decided I was just gonna get in and suit and have a good time, so I did. Saturday night ended up being the funniest I have every had in suit. There were lots of great suiters out, and I got to make a lot of new friends.
This wolf dude named Lupercus thought it necissary to fireman carry me wherever he went ^_^;;. We even went to the local gas station and harassed the cops that "happened" to be there XD. They thought it was quite amusing.
The dance was also very awesome! The DJ actually played great variety instead of just blasting us in the face with constant DUB STEP *WUB WUB WUBWUBwubwubwubwub* XD. I busted out all my moves including my epic JUMP STYLE YEAUH! XD. Ohh how fun it was ^_^
Anyway just to keep it short, the main thing I learned is that no matter where you are, your future friends are not far behind. I felt pretty alone on Saturday, but the moment I decided to not worry about it anymore, I realized that there were plenty of people around me who cared about me.
Thank you to everyone who was involved in making that great first con back. I especially thank
Sweetnightmare for letting share a room and a table with her. Your nice, entertaining, and I definately didn't feel alone when I was with you and Husky. Thanks also goes towards my travel buddies that go to school with me here at BYU-I 
gldnclaw and Daisuke wolf. I love you guys and it was fun reading Harry Potter with gay centaur voices XD. Last, but definately not least I want to thank all the Furries who attended the convention and made me feel welcome and wanted. Running around in suit with you guys brought back something very dear to me that I had not felt in 2 and a half years.
Welp, now to eat a butt load of Coco puffs to ward off this Post Con Depression that I have still ^_^;.

Just a quick con report so far because I'm having a loooot of fun ^_^ *wags*
It was a 5 hour drive from rexburg to boise. The morning was really stressful because enterprise screwed us and canceled our car reservation, but we were blessed with another car to be able to get to the con. We even got there a little earlier than planned
So we got here and I got to run around in the Red Husky suit. The feeling in suit was fanominal. I feel like I succeeded in being a little more animated, even though i was a bit tired from the trip.
The dance was small, yet fun. I was sporting my fresh prince of bel-air purple parishute pants Ohhh yeaaaah!
The crowning moment was seeing this very fuzzy adorable suit. I gave him a big hug and he picked me up and flung me around playfully. He was so friendly and it was just nice to hug a big old cute wolfy ^_^ *wagwagwag*.
Anyway I'll stop talking now and enjoy the rest of the con. Have a good one guys!

I know it's gonna be super small, and it's definately not the FWA that I know and love, but I'm still super excited about going ^_^ *wags*
I've decided to have some goals as I go to this convention. First, I am going to try much harder to be more outgoing and animated in and out of suit, and second I am going to try my hand at selling a couple of commissions. My confidence isn't all that high about these things, but I figure I should start somewhere, and the circumstances seem ideal for me to start out here since it is such a little con.

My first week at college!
General | Posted 14 years agoWell it's a lazy sunday afternoon (reference slightly intended) and i'm sittin in my dorm writing to you guys :D.
My first week of college went pretty smoothly. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the changes and stuff, but I feel a little more comfortable as the experience continues. My teachers are cool, and I"m pretty much staying on top of things. Last Saturday night I went to my first college dance and it was AMAZING. I danced the night away with a lot of new people, and it was an awesome experience. I got to teach a lot of people how to jerk "Teach me how to jerk teach teach me how to jerk" XD
Well just thought some would like a little update. Hope everyone else is doing great and enjoying their new year!

General | Posted 14 years agoWelp after a couple of day of running around like crazy, I am officially gonna begin my first semester of college. I got all of my books, got my schedual, and I'm praying that I don't screw this up ^_^;;.
It was quite an interesting transition. It's not like high school for sure, and it isn't like the mission that I served. When I left it just felt like something normal. My parents are having a bit of a hard time with it. I guess it has to do with both me and my sister leaving. I really hope that they are doing well
My sister had to leave her boyfriend behind. She was pretty emotional the trip up here. I did all I could to cheer her up.
Now that we are here however things seem to be going pretty well. I am prety excited to learn and to have another new and exciting adventure. I already got to meet a fellow fur up here on the campus gldnclaw.

First of all I had a wonderful Christmas, re-united with my family after being 2 years gone on a mission for my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
2 years ago I had a lot of time to thing about what Christmas was all about. I had put a lot of things aside, and now it was just me and my thoughts.
I would like to share a brief statement I made in my Journal that Christmas
"We give presents on Christmas to mimic the Christlike attribute of charity and love. Showing love is one of the most important and wonderful things we can do on this Earth. . .We celebrate and show our appreciation by following [Christ's] example and loving one another as He has loved us so much. . . Love is the key. Love is what creates the greatest of all happiness, and Christ's love was perhaps the greatest of all."
I love all of you guys. I appreciate the love and attention you have given me. As I said before I left on my mission, I trully treasure the kinship I share with all of you here. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
