So, this thing..
General | Posted 13 years agoI figure I'm going to try and offer a few short story commissions.
5 bucks a pop, under a thousand words.
Gonna offer 4 for starters, see how that goes, if anyone is interested, comment, I'll go by that order, not PM's.
I'll send you confirmation that You were in the first four, we'll discuss the idea, I'll write, You pay after the story is completed.
Ready, set, go.

To anyone still watching me
General | Posted 13 years agoSince being unproductive seems to be a standard, I'm going to offer, a few, a tops 5 spots for people who'd like me to attempt to write something for them.
These will be free, of course, and the option to do them will be mine alone.
There will be no set timeline for these projects, though if nothing comes of it in three months, I'll consider the project dead and move on.
Any interest at all, leave in comments or Pm me.
Thanks.

General | Posted 14 years agoCreative
You are good at solving problems, coming up with original ideas, and seeing connections between things, connections that most other people miss. People with a high score on the "creative" trait often are employed in such fields as finance and scientific research, and enjoy avant garde and classical music as well as literary fiction and scholarly non-fiction.
You do not shun abstractions and concepts in favor of the concrete and tangible.
Intellectual
You are thoughtful, rational, and comfortable in the world of ideas. People find you interesting to talk to. You're the living embodiment of the saying "You learn something new every day." In general, those with a high score on the "intellectual" trait are employed in such fields as teaching and research, and are enthusiastic about reading, foreign films, and classical music.
You do not avoid abstract conversation, experimenting with new ideas, or studying new things. It bores you to stick to the straight and narrow of what you already know.
Innovative
You come up with a lot of ideas; if one doesn't work out, there's always another waiting in the wings. You often have interesting solutions to difficult problems. You're practically a one-person brainstorming session.
You are less interested changing the world than in dealing with things as they are. Unlike those who spend all their time trying to solve problems, you prefer to zero in on things that work and stick with them.
Competent
You strive to master everything you undertake. You tend to learn quickly and do not shy away from challenges.
You are not a "que sera sera" type of person, nor do you go easy on yourself when attempting to master a new skill or get a job done.
Astute
You are a quick study. You generally don't need to have things explained to you more than once. When presented with a problem, you will often have an instant understanding of where to look for the solution.
You do not take your sweet time when presented with a new task to complete or problem to solve. You don't avoid assignments that require you to learn new skills.
Original
You are constantly coming up with new ideas. For you, the world as it exists is just a jumping-off place; what's going on inside your mind is often more interesting than what's going on outside.
You don't feel that the road to success is to be a realist and stick to the program; you never stop yourself from coming up with new ideas or telling the world what you're thinking about.
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Solitary
You are a private person, not very comfortable in a big group, and view excessive socializing as a waste of time.
You not prefer hanging out with others to spending time alone; you do not tend to feel at home in a crowded room, club, stadium, or auditorium.
Accessible
You're comfortable expressing yourself in words and actions, with no self-censorship. You believe that if someone doesn't like what they see it's not your problem, but theirs. A high score on the "accessible" trait suggests that you have a lot of friends, socialize often, and enjoy rap/hip-hop music.
You don't see the need to keep your thoughts to yourself, or to have a zone of privacy that encompasses only yourself and a small circle of friends and relatives.
Understanding
You are willing to take the time to find out what's going on with other people, especially if they're in distress. You're a good listener, you don't criticize, and you offer unbiased, respectful, honest advice when it's requested. With a high score on the "understanding" trait, it is likely that you are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't feel the need to impose your standards on others or say things that, even though true, cause pain.

Iron Author?
General | Posted 14 years agoI saw a few places where someone was working on this, and I'm curious if any of my watchers would be interested in paying, say five dollars for a 3-5 page story?
If there are enough of you I'll go ahead and open the doors with five slots and continue from there.
Also anyone who makes a journal to promote this one and sends me the link, will get two dollars off of their story price.
Money should be paid before work begins, if for some reason I fail to complete your work, you will be refunded.
Anyone interested at all?

Watchers and Others
General | Posted 14 years agoI'm taking writing requests.
I've got two in my gallery as examples. I can write anything and am very flexible. I need the projects to keep my going and wouldn't mind having a few requests and a bit of a work load to keep up with.
So, if there are any ideas in your head, come to me, I'll see what I can do.

1. Well, to be honest, some of our friends are great, others are just... ridiculous. I really don't know who's who anymore.
2. You... kindled my spark, and helped me through some rough times... and No matter how many times I say it, I appreciate you more than the ability to wake for another day of life.
3. Really miss hanging with you, kinda wish it would happen more, and yes, the obsession was cute. but I can only hope it isn't something that will last, for your own good.
4. Don't know you as much as I'd like, but Sometimes I don't want to really. I'll have to use this moment to remind me later that i would like a lesson from you, i need to find a way to contact you soon...
5. You... in the most simple terms are a dick. I kinda wish you could see what I think about you for real.
6. Love of my life, enough said.
7. Despite my hatred for our mutual friends, You are perhaps one of the best I've had ever. Don't change, and by any will of a semi existant god, don't lose that one you have... you wouldn't be any fun without her.
8.Your art astounds me. simple enough.
9. Uh... yeah... that too...
10 sad I don't have ten people... *shrug*

General | Posted 16 years agoWell. I used my week off to join the FA community and to post some of my works so, I guess the next thing to do is offer a story request to the kind users of the web. I'll take (just about) any request and post it up here. I'll use whatever characters you give etc etc. Just make sure if you're giving me a character that you link me to a reference picture so I don't fuck up.
Thats all for tonight, I go back to hell in the morning.
