I know I keep saying I'm back then not posting, stuff keeps coming x.x

Just after my last post, my partner had to go to the ER.
... the ER is expensive (US), and I had to pick up a second job to cover the bill.

Not asking for money, just wanted to let you know.

It might be a little bit longer until I can consistently post again, work has been taking a lot out of me and I don't get enough comms to cover.

Not a complaint! I love all of you and wish I could do more requests with a comm here and there between, I just don't have the time right now.

I'm struggling to get the comms and requests I currently have done in the few minutes each day I have between work and sleep. Again, not a complaint!

Again, I just wanted to keep you all updated, I'm so sorry...

I took a much needed hiatus to get my life a bit more together and also I got a new art device (yay!) and I've been basically relearning how to draw on it.

Bad news, sweeties.

Seems like my SSD on my Surface 7 has failed.

All my art is backed up, so it's not lost, I just don't have a way to export it (yet).

I'm going to have to buy a new art device, so if anyone is interested in making a donation so I have a bigger budget you can do so on my Ko-Fi~

I can afford a cheaper device, but I would really like one with a screen on it (price range would be about $400), so if anyone is willing to help, I would really appreciate it~<3

Bad news, sweeties, I think my tablet is dead...

I do my art on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7, and this morning it won't boot up...

It does a startup loop and when it doesn't it's saying I don't have an operating system...

I exported some art to my google drive, so I'll be able to post a bit more.

I'll keep you all updated, but after the current set there might not be art for a bit...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been working 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week while my partner finds a new job.

We are finally stable enough that I might not have to work such long hours, but I do still have to work everyday.

I was going to post more nasty today, but I wanted to talk about FA and Dragoneer a little.

By now I'm sure you all have heard the news, but Dragoneer, the owner of FurAffinity passed away yesterday (Aug 6, 2024) and I'm sure this post if only one of many, many posts here and elsewhere talking about it.

I never met him, but I have friends who knew him and no matter what you thought of him, he and FA have been an important staple of the furry community for decades. His passing is tragic, not only for the furry community, but also the circumstances of his situation (for what information we have at this time, anyway).

Even having not known him myself, I still feel the weight of his passing and the emptiness of the void he has left behind.

Please be respectful and any support for him and the team over on FA would be appreciated during this trying time. Even if you don't like Dragoneer or FA or some of their changes in recent years.

Sorry for the wall of text, my Sweeties. FA has been an important part of my life for a long time now and I worry for its future.

I just realized how many followers I have. Nearly 100 on FA and Xitter (99 and 92 respectively as of this post) and nearly 50 on bsky (46 atm).
I know some are people following on multiple sites at once anx some (mostly on Xitter) are bots, but even so, it makes me really happy knowing so many like what I do~
