Howdy! Update time!
Posted 9 years agoSo This is just a quick update on the current status of what I've been doing!
Right now I've been doing a lot of art work for another blog I run.
It's a grim-dark blog, but it's been helping me financially since I've decided to take up doing artwork full-time.
So! I've been planning on getting this account and my QTDolphin blog back up and running. Only thing is I need to start!
So I'll hopefully have something new to release soon. I've already done a ton of sketches and some of the work I have for QTD even as lineart!
It's just been a bit of juggling since the bills won't pay themselves. X~X
Which got me to thinking about opening up commissions here soon!
I definitely think it'd be a great way to expand my horizons with what I do, so I was very much entertaining the thought for the near future!
I was thinking of trying out some YCH picture slots first since that's what the bulk of my work tends to be, next to personal commissions.
That all being said, I'm terribly sorry for the silence! I really want to get everything moving along trust me!
I just need to get my life and other matters in order first!
Stick around and I promise it'll be worth your while!
Let me know what you all think about commissions from me below!

My last journal >3>
Posted 9 years agoI was asking about drowning specifically because I also run another art blog where grimdark is typically the theme. I happen to draw a lot of that kind of stuff.
I've just never submitted a lot of what I do to QTDolphin as far as my grim stuff goes.
Also, I'd like to explain it a bit if you're all interested in reading!
Basically, my grim-dark interests kinda tie in with my sleeping stuff. Except there's more of a different side to what I like about grim that makes what I draw a lot more subtle than my normal art.
It's kinda hard to explain without showing you guys an example, but I haven't finished one of the pieces I'm working on yet to properly give you a good idea.
In any case, I just want you all to know that I do that. I was possibly thinking about making a separate page/blog for the QTDolphin grim stuff, but I'm honestly getting tired of having to separate blogs for one specific fetish.
Iunno. Personal stuff! >.>

Posted 10 years agoHowdy everyone!
Just wanted to give you all a general update on what's been going on for the past month or so.
Things as of late have been pretty hectic. I've been in between doing work for my art blogs and at the same time I've been getting everything in order for me to move out of New York state. I'll be making a trip out to the far far west of America, California to be exact.
I don't know what to expect, and it's a seriously ballsy thing for me to do, but I've had enough of where I am. I want to change my surroundings and give my career a real shot at being successful.
For those of you who aren't familiar with my work, I also run another content blog called CookieSoupMusic. It's my main portal site for anything that I brand. QTDolphin is just one of my alternate blogs/brands that I like to use to display my anthro work.
CookieSoupMusic, is my main blog. It's just a place where I post up any of the audio work that I do. I specialize in audio production, composition, and music performance. I co-engineer at studios and I produce for clients on a freelance basis.
I haven't felt any real opportunity striking me here in New York, so I've wanted to take a stab at doing what I want to do in Cali.
Now I know New York is filled with as much opportunity as Cali, but there's two things that are making me leave really.
Firstly, the job I work at now is just a dead end retail job. I work for a music retailer selling and specializing in Pro Audio and other instrument gear. It's a great job and it has its perks, however, I've been working there for a little short of 4 years now, and I've had enough of it.
It also drastically drains my drive to work on music. Imagine surrounding yourself with what you love and then throwing people you don't want to deal with into the mix.
In any case, this has been in the works for the entirety of this year. Only now is it finally starting to come to fruition.
Which leads me to an unfortunate reality in all of this.
Come time when I have to leave New York, I will have to place any of my digital art on a temporary hiatus. I'm not sure when I'll be able to continue digital artwork, seeing as I do all of my work on my PC, which I will no longer have with me when I go to travel. I will have my Macbook Pro, but SAI doesn't work on a Mac, and I refuse to install parallels to do so. Plus, SAI has 0 retina support, so it would look like complete garbage anyhow.
So I'll post up a journal when that time comes.
In other news, I've gained over 20+ followers on here since my last picture, and I've been getting a lot of awesome support from you all. So thank you so much! It really means a lot when I get such lovely responses on my work. I try to work hard to understand my craft and it really pays off when people give me such wonderful feedback, so I just want you all to know that your compliments don't go unnoticed. <3333
So thank you all so much. I'll continue to do my best in providing you with the best content I can produce.
Thanks for reading<3333

QTDolphin
Posted 10 years agoSo it has been a while since I've uploaded art here. That mostly has to do with just how busy I've been for the past couple of months. I'm currently in the process of moving out. I'll be leaving New York and driving out to LA to pursue another life and try to get a start on my career, which lies in audio production.
I still want to draw though and I do have plans for this particular brand, that being QTDolphin.
At the moment I still have a small comic in the works. It doesn't feature my main dolphin character, but a couple of other characters. It's gonna be a similarly sexually themed comic to my previous works here, so it should be a great piece to have up for view here.
I'm gonna be uploading that stuff as it comes. I need to assemble the comic pages to a lot of the drawings.
So QTD has a lot of work that'll be released in the near future.
Maybe at some point I can take a couple of commissions too. I have to be careful with that though since I run multiple pages and do multiple projects, so I would need to manage everything accordingly.
These are the early stages to what I want QTD to become, so I'm excited to get the ball rolling with some of these future releases.
