Why do I still exist?

I will be attending IFC 2019 on August 23-25.  maim is nice enough to let me and Bold Kobold share their dealer's den booth, so I'm going to try to do inked sketch commissions while there on Saturday. Feel free to swing by and say "hi" if you're there.

So, short notice, I know, but I'll be attending AC 2019, heading up there tomorrow. If anyone here sees me, feel free to say "hi" and if you're a suiter, don't be surprised if I ask for a hug.

Well, I guess it's time to join the club and make a "money problems" journal post on FA.
So, I am finding myself in a bit of a financial crisis at the moment. I worry that my non-savings reserve might be depleted by the end of the year at the rate things are currently going. So, in order to try and bolster my paycheck, which used to be doing fine at keeping my finances positive rather than negative, I don't know why it suddenly changed, and to attempt to stem the bleeding my bank account is suffering, I am going to try out a thing I call "Sneaky Sketch Commissions"

One of the major issues I've been experiencing lately is that I rarely have time to really sit down and try to art at home anymore, which is why you've mostly seen pencil sketches getting posted lately. I can do these pencil sketches at my work desk during breaks or while waiting on programs to load. The latter I'm not SUPPOSED to do, thus the "sneaky" part of the title. My current plan is to just take on 3 slots of these to test the waters. I can usually get work sketches done relatively quickly, so hopefully we'll see how well this pans out swiftly.

Sneaky Sketch Commissions Info: Starting price will be $15 USD plus additional based off complexity of the image (lots of background, multiple characters, etc) or if it is porn. Since I am doing these at work, where I already, probably, shouldn't be doing them, porn is even more of a risk, so price will increase for "hazard pay" as it were, but porn is ok to request. However, please keep requests relatively simple. You can check my recent uploads to the gallery for examples of my work sketches to get an idea of what we're talking about here. No really weird stuff in the porn department please, this can be discussed in Private Message if you get a slot. Commission slots will be first come first serve. If, for some reason, one commissioner's request is either rejected and can't come up with a viable request, or can't actually pay and just wanted to "call dibs" they will be bumped from the list and the next available person in the comments will take their slot. I think that sounds fair?

Ok, as it currently stands, my hard drive is still inaccessible, and all the stuff on it is still lost. But, I'm going on a road trip tomorrow and will be gone and probably fairly computerless for a week, but when I get back, I'm going to do some more nonsense with the hard drive, and try to get myself to start all over on the comissions I was working on. Anyway, pissed off, keeping this shit short

Hard drive catastrophically failed and is dead, lost everything, EVERYTHING, major set back on the commissions I had been working on, I ask that people please be patient while I try and pick up the pieces

Ok, so apparently there are no stores in the city that actually carry replacement nibs for a tablet stylus... So I've resorted to ordering some online, thus have to wait on the slow ass mail system to get them to me. In the meantime, someone suggested I use the eraser end of the pen to draw with, which was such a good idea, it's obvious why I never thought of it. So, digital drawing is back online while I wait for the nibs to come in.

My stylus' nib has been reduced to a tiny lump barely protruding from the pen. Thus, I probably won't be able to do any tablet work until Friday at the earliest when Best Buy supposedly restocks their nibs, unless I can locate another nearby computer supply shop. Thus, any commissions or pornedex or what have you updates will be delayed a few days. I apologize.

I am in need of my own personal webpage for portfolio purposes. Problem being that I have little to no webpage experience/ knowledge. Do any of you who are actually reading this possibly know of some kind of free webpage kit, or something, that's simple to use and can make a decent if not extremely simple webpage with gallery, resume, bio and such? Thanks
