A lot of you have been anxiously awaiting to find out what this top secret project is going to be for the contest. Here it is. You all have a shot to redesign my character! I will have certain parameters to work with in, however, I expect a LOT of creativity and FUN on your part! Below you will find a list of items regarding what I am looking for in my character that HAVE to be included in some way, shape or form. Be it in the character herself, her armor, her clothing, maybe a familiar, or their armor etc.
RULES:
Must contain, in no order of importance, at least 5 of the following items/themes :
HINT: If its all in caps, it might be important. >.>
Tiger(not orange, shadow or fire made), Borzoi, Stag, Raven, GOLD, FIRE, Ram’s horns (or other horns LIKE them)Elven, SEELIE Court, Light (think sunshine and the flames that come off of the sun)Ruby, Garnet, Citrine, Rose Quartz, CROWN, QUEEN, Weapon (of your choosing)
1. Must contain 5 items/themes from the list
2. Can be in picture form, though more points will be awarded to a character sheet form

4. Actual SKILL level is VERY much Tertiary to the above rules. I am not concerned with Skill so much and as long as I can see that you put HONEST effort into your piece. I will be posting different links to tutorials that may be helpful for use of different mediums.
5. HAVE FUN. Take this character seriously, but have fun with your piece. Maybe the Borzoi has raven wings? Maybe the crown is shaped from a Tiger? Think outside the box!
6. Look into history for inspiration. Think Celt, Gaul, Rococo, Art Nouveau, High Renaissance

Unfortunately, I have had the recent experience of an individual on here taking advantage of me. When the piece was completed there was unfortunately no payment and I was blocked from contacting them further.
Due to this unfortunate event, I will have to change my policy. All payment will need to be done UP FRONT as soon as we are decided on what is to be completed.

As a graduated trained illustrator with the capability of working professionally in the field as a full time illustrator my works should be no less than 50.00 an hour, at the LOW end. Do NOT ask me for discounts, do NOT ask when the next sale will be, do NOT think that because you have previously recieved art from me at a different price that I am going to give you the old price. That is just not how this works. I am sorry that I need to be this blunt about all of this but the artists of FA as well as elsewhere are getting the SHAFT by quite a few of their customers who aren't willing to pay the actual price or even a comperable price for the BEAUTIFUL artwork that we put time and effort into.
Guess what: Art is a trade. Just like computer science, just like being a nurse, just like being a police officer. Art is our TRADE, it is what we are doing, often times for a LIVING. are you going to ask your nurse for a discount? How about the person coming to fix your computer? Your electrician? I thought not.

General | Posted 14 years agoSo I realized that I have been doing nothing but commissions for the past two weeks solid, and I decided it was high time to take a break and start working on a few personal projects. Yes, one of which actually involves a comic ((that you will be able to make donations to to help fuel the story as well as the number of pages posted :D))
The story is of a rather interesting coffee shop and its workers. A group of gals who... well lets just say they like to entertain. The coffee shop is set in the small town of: Bray. The coffee shops name is actually yet to be determined.... But I can let you know that both Nenna and Riona are going to be present in the story as main characters ^.^ Cameo's of your chars are also a possibility..... hint hint. >.> anyway I hope to have at least one page done by the end of today!
Actual Commissions to start up again soon. Just need to clear my muse and let it "Rest" with other things for a while ;)

STREAMING TODAY AND COMMISSION UPDATED INFO
General | Posted 14 years agoHey there everyone! I appreciate all the watches I have been receiving for my streams! It really helps me get amped up and ready to do some more hours for you folks! I am going to admit that I am going to do something maybe a little bit unconventional in the fact that I am going to re-do the order list of my Commission based on time it will take for completion.
This is to help me PRIORITIES so I can get things done ultimately... QUICKER. I want to be able to do a BUNCH of art this year. At 6 hours a day for art at the least that should be two 3 hour pieces, or three 2 hour pieces.
Times that by 365 days in a year, minus the one for yesterday and that is the sort of volume I hope to be doing.
My questions to you my lovely artistic followers is this:
-What do you want to see from me?

This holiday season has been quite a whirlwind for all involved I think we can all agree on that. I have been trying to balance personal art with commissions. I realized a while ago that I was getting really commission heavy and thus not wanting to do as much art. So that needed to be solved.
Today is my last day at REI. In fact, when I clock out at 2PM, my new job will start. Serving you all 8 hours a day for at least the next two weeks. Yes, you read that right. I will be doing commissions solid for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. That includes planned streams, more than likely early evening probably starting around 4PM West Coast US time.
I have a few commissions to finish up that are already in the cue. I already have Rein’s sketched out, just need to get that delicious piece completed. This holiday season has been quite a whirlwind for all involved I think we can all agree on that. I have been trying to balance personal art with commissions. I realized a while ago that I was getting really commission heavy and thus not wanting to do as much art. So that needed to be solved.
Today is my last day at REI. In fact, when I clock out at 2PM, my new job will start. Serving you all 8 hours a day for at least the next two weeks. Yes, you read that right. I will be doing commissions solid for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. That includes planned streams, more than likely early evening probably starting around 4PM West Coast US time.
I have a few commissions to finish up that are already in the cue. I already have Rein’s sketched out, just need to get that delicious piece completed. Steve Jobs' Passing

Rowan.Raedwulf for the fav he gave me and saw the news that America's Steve Jobs just passed away. Guys, I haven't been this sad over a famous persons death.... Ever. Like, I was sad about heath ledger passing, and didn't have a clue why everyone was so torn up about Princess Diana... But this guy... This was STEVE JOBS! he FOUNDED PIXAR, and APPLE! I wish I could have met the guy and just talked to him once. He was so amazingly brilliant. As Rowan said, this world will be a bit dimmer with out him.... :(
Rest in Peace Steve, knowing you always did a Job well done.
