Posted 8 years agoSo I guess a little info about my life and future plans?
I've had an interest in drawing since I was a preteen and an interest in writing since about then as well. So generally off and on during my school years I'd push to take art classes. When I first graduated high school I wanted to be an architect. I got my diploma and took classes in the last years of high school to be prepared to become an architect even. I ended up going to a community college instead of a 4 year state college and I guess minored or even changed my major to graphic design or art in general. There I learned things about perspective and some about colors and lighting. I ended up dropping out of community college and bumming around before going to a different college for culinary arts... But anyways... So I've dabbled some with art? But this is really the first time that I'm doing my best to stick with it. Hopefully that happens...
So my future plans... I feel like I need to look at the comic I'm making again. It doesn't flow well in my mind and that is seriously bugging me... So I'm going to probably move what I have into the scraps and start over. Possibly just in black and white until I get the feel of shading and values. But I'm not sure because I really like colors... I'm hoping though that keeping things black and white will give me a better understanding of anatomy and how things react spatially. Hopefully. So yeah! That's what my plans are. More studying of anatomy and structure of comics. And hopefully I don't get super discouraged. \o/
