Did anyone miss me?
Posted 9 years agoI highly doubt it. Not that I mind tho.
So... explaination of why I left FA? Honestly, I dunno. FA was turning into a habit more than anything else. Always had it open as a tab in Mozilla and was always logged in. That was... till I made my computer crash by shutting it down during a Windows update. -.-
In other words, I had to completely remove Windows 10 and reinstall 8.1 that was originally on my PC to begin with. Not to mention the games and files I lost. Luckily I had USB's with copies and FA to store my characters. Anyhow, I'm sorta back? Dunno if I'll post much since I don't want to spend too much money on this place but I can at least say that I'm glad to be back.

BRUTAL Doom 64

But I wanted to share this: Brutal Doom 64 is amazing! SgtMarkIV really outdid himself, getting the Doom 64 game working on a Doom 2 WAD, alongside additional animations, sound design, gore, lighting, sprites, new monsters even and a brand new weapon. All you need is Zandorum (which comes with the download) and the Doom 2 WAD. A quick internet search will get you the WAD and Brutal Doom 64 you can find right here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-do.....-64-version-10

Posted 9 years agoThird level of Condemned places you in a for 14-year abandoned mall... with mannequins. I... decapitated them just to be sure. You uhm... never know... Worst part is, the Christmas decorations are still hanging...
So scary sounds and eerie atmosphere, walking around with a flashlight and a 2x4. I arrive at the escalators, closed off of course. Because of a pile of dirt (invisible wall) I need to walk around it. As I do, I hear muffled screaming above me. Lovely huh? As I reach the other side, I suddenly see a guy tumbling down the escalator and land back first on a metal bar at the bottom. Poor guy didn't break his back already, he certainly did. There was... a note on the corpse. LEAVE!
So I did. I noped out of the game and now I'm gonna have nightmares from a game out of 2005... for fuck's sake...

In other words, I finally managed to get my hands on a PS1 lightgun with Time Crisis. At first I had trouble with the screen actually appearing but I managed to get it on about 90%. The lightgun preforms admirable for its age but again, that might be the wonky connection with the screen. We'll see.
I DO NOT regret buying this PS1. It's amazing!!!

Alyah has been back on FA (and before that too), I've been wondering something. Since the creation of this account, I've been mainly portraying myself as Roxanne, the red vixen/scorpion hybrid. She represents a lot of characteristics that I, as her creator, portray myself.
A lot. As in, not all of them. Now here's my point; I'm thinking about turning the person that I am, into a sona. As in, it'll be literally me, with everything I have and am, but able to be drawn into art. Partially because I want FA to know that I lay claim to Alyah, 
RC-001, 
Zintarloc, 
biozz and partially because it would be fun to draw myself and Roxanne (vixen and shark form) in one piece of art.
So... what do you guys think? Would you like to see who's behind the Roxy mask, or should I just keep it to myself? Because you don't want the illusion broken, or think that I'll look ugly or fear for my identity getting out on the internet or something, I don't know XD

Posted 9 years agoSo... I wanted to play a game the Unity Web Player, something that always worked very well, just took an age and a half to load. But now, it suddenly said "Unable to automatically update" for some ungodly reason. I tried it with different programs, de- and reinstalled it; nothing! I'm working with Firefox and got the latest update for Unity. Can anyone help me?

LCD and lightguns. How bad is it?
Posted 9 years agoNow that I have a PS1, I want my collection to be complete and bring along the GunCon along with the first Time Crisis (HUGE TIME CRISIS CRUSH!). However, the TV I have in the living room is an LCD one. I know a light run required feedback from a CRT monitor but is it really that bad with an LCD?
If anyone knows this and can enlighten me :3PS1 ROCKS!!!

Posted 9 years agoToday, I went to the CashConverters to buy that PS2. Until... I saw a PS1. The small version. For only €10. Now I want this beauty. €2,50 for a 1MB memory card, €9 for three games and €5 for the analog controller. Shall I do it?

My mouse shit itself. I bought a USB controller, so I could play Need For Speed with analog sticks, instead of WASD, which is next to impossible. So I was installing the driver for it and then it froze. My mouse didn't respond anymore and just jittered and then flew off into side of the screen, never to move away.
I restarted my computer twice... nothing.
If anyone knows anything that can help me, please suggest. I bought a Saitek P880 controller and my mouse is a Maxxter Gaming mouse.

Any PS2 lovers?
Posted 9 years agoI recently discovered a CashConverters near my apartment. The Portugese version of a pawnshop and I saw a PS2 console for only €29 and a whole array of games, accessories, memory cards etc etc.
Now, I'm pretty sure the PS2 is like the biggest, if not the most sold console in the world so FA has to have some peoples who had this system. I'm seriously considering buying one with a bunch of accessories and an old-school TV to boot.
My question is, what do I ABSOLUTELY need when owning a PS2? :3
