I've been thinking hard, for the past few years I've had this same account, and it's been with me through a lot of hard times.

But part of me has been thinking perhaps it's time to move on. Not from my fursona, I do love Rhapsody a lot (though he may be going through some minor, teeny tiny changes soon, nothing dramatic). But to an account where my art work is up to date, up to speed, and worked harder on than before. There will be no more half-assed doodles, no more things begun and not completed, and I will have better organization over my commissions and my own personal art.

If I were to move accounts, all art from this account would be moved to scraps, and only those I commissioned from others would be re-posted. My own art would be started anew, including "Ask a Pet" which many of you seem interested in. So let it be known that a move is in effect, and through the weekend you'll be seeing a lot of changes.

It's time to get serious about my art work, and not break down and half-ass a job.

Hey guys~ I put up a Kinky Pre-pose to be done last night. My nieces and nephews are here for a week, and I rarely get privacy to myself when they're here. Home from Anthrocon. I had a really fantastic time, and took a bit of quiet time to thank my Grandmother for watching over me.

Prepare for a rapid upload of art.

I would like to share some things with all of you.

My grandmother's name is Anna, and at ninety-five years old, she slipped away from us. The last few months have not been easy. She was in constant pain, and the medications only worsened her dementia. When the pain peaked, we had to put her into a hospice, something she didn't understand. She tried to come home, and at the end of her days, she slipped away from us in a drug induced sleep, with my brother at her side.

But that isn't how I'm going to remember her.

I had the privelage to have her live with me her last few years of life. And before that, she babysat me every day. She was my mother as much as my grandmother. She watched over me. She taught me the names of the flowers, how to plant them, what berries to eat for a stomach ache, how to make pickles from scratch. Every time I went out she'd saddle up beside me and slip me five dollars. Every time I came home she'd have a light on for me. She knit blankets, sweaters, everything you could imagine. She smelled like the sweetest perfumes. She was a proud woman, there were no hugs or kisses, but the love was pure and genuine. Anyone who came into our house was family. She shopped not for herself, but my friends, even if she had only met them once. She learned what they liked and she gave. Constantly gave. She left behind charities. Childrens hospitals, veterans, homeless, she gave to all of them. I wil continue to do so in her foot steps.

My grandmother left us. She left the world. But I'm going to share what I learned from her. I'm going to grow and love just as she did. And I know, I know, her death will not be the end of her story.

My grandmother was put into the hospice today. It's a matter of weeks, even days before she passes on.

I accidently deleted the free art post from last week, I'm sorry for that. I'm going to be putting another one up just to..to get my mind off this. If I had promised you art from it please comment here and give me a little reminder. I'm really doing my best to just not think about what's going to happen.

Granny will be coming home tonight. We have medication to manage her pain, and they wrapped and treated her wounds so infection won't set in. It was a scary ordeal, but at least she still has time with us.

After months of fighting dementia and gangrene on her feet, my grandmother is dying. If I owe you work, please, please understand and be patient while I try to cope with this. I don't know how long she has left, or if today is the day they take her for good and put her in a hospice. I'm sorry if I seem rushed and rude, but this came as a complete surprise.

In case no one has noticed, my tablets been broken for a bit. It's currently being fixed, so once it gets back I'll be offering more freebies~

Yes, my pen did come late Friday~! Then my birthday and Easter happened, so I never got the chance to just SIT and draw. But tomorrow I will! So excited. Here's what's on the agenda for tomorrow.

-Practice with the new pen/tips (sketch)
-Finish the freebie I have out (color and ink)
-Comic page.

i never did get a new tablet pen after my last one decided to fuck off. Instead I had been using my inking pen, which isn't quite as comfortable. Last night I finally ordered a new pen (just in time, I ran out of tips for my inking pen and didn't want to order more.)

It should be here within the week. In the mean time don't expect much drawings, I'll try to finish the freebie I have out, and a new page will be up as soon as I get the new pen. Thanks!

Three years ago, on March 19th, my uncle Marty passed away. That night the vet called, and I put my best friend down, he went to heaven with my uncle. I broke that day, and I finally realized what pain really is. Whether anyone believes me or not, losing Boo was devastating, and combined with losing my Uncle, I lost it. I love them both so much. I know it seems horrid, comparing the death of a dog to the death of a family member. But Boo was my baby, my child. He was the one to help me through all of my hardest moments. And on the day I needed him most, he left me. My friends and family, they helped me. They all held me up until I could walk straight again. And now, even as I cry and remember today, I also remember they're both up there, smiling down at me. I know my uncle took Bowser for a reason, or maybe Bowser felt the need to follow him and keep him on his toes. Whatever the reason, I know they're in their eternal bliss now, and I'm happy they don't need to suffer. God bless you both, and when the day comes that I see you two again I know I'll be smiling too.

TO those of you, whom I owe free art to please Note me. I'd like to fully color your work, and use it as an experiment to try to better myself at coloring and style. If that's alright with you, I will. If you don't note me, I'll just assume you just want it inked, and do it that way. You have until Friday. Free art will most likely be up until Friday day, or Saturday night.


-Dusk Till Dawn is not consistent.

I know this. It's not meant to make me money. And like I said, I'm not going to be consistent. DTD is my way of working on problems and issues I have with drawing, and hopefully making myself better at it. It's a story to tell, and I love telling it. But it's also a way for me to practice and experiment with different ways of shading, color, even drawing itself. So to those of you who have questioned why some of the pages are inked, why some are colored, why some are traditional VS digital? Because I'm still a practicing artist, and want to try everything, before I settle with one medium that I'm fully comfortable with. It will update when I feel comfortable updating, and if you'd like to see more, tell me! I love to know what people think. I'd LOVE for people to critique my work and show me how to be a better artist.

 plugg came out to me a few weeks ago. As a woman. She's my girlfriend now, and is going to be switching her accounts to her female one, the one MY other account is "dating".

This outs both of us. I'd rather you hear it from me, then put two and two together yourself.
