So some of you may have noticed that I haven't been getting commissions done very quickly, and i'm not streaming as much as I ought to. Thre's a reason, and yeah, it might sound like an excuse. While I've never been to the doctor's office to get diagnosed (which costs money I don't have) I am fairly certain I have PTSD induced chronic depression. I like to think I can handle it well enough, but it's still a burden during each cycle. this past month has been particularly hard on me. I've been having nightmares that are realistic, featuring anxieties from my past. Real enough that I often will wake up confused and feeling out of place. The cycle I'm on I was almost over when another thing came up that got me feeling very timid, and while I don't want to share the details, it's been a consistent reminder of how things went wrong during a particularly traumatic experience in the past few months, and that basically rebooted the cycle from the start. Then I was letting myself get excited to go to a night club that was going to have my favorite band there, playing; It was going to be my first night club experience... Didn't happen. Bought the tickets, had a ride who was going to join us, but he lost his wallet, which had his ID, which was required to enter. We overheard that it was a DJ Set, that they wouldn't be playing live anyway, which we thought meant that there was a stand-in DJ, not the band itself, so when our friend was turned away at the door, we went with him; Didn't seem fair to make him wait for us. Turns out the band WAS there, that I had misinterpreted what a DJ set means... It got me reminiscing about how pretty much every time I try to organize something I want to do or try, something always goes wrong; And that's not a hyperbole, my luck has really always been that bad. It's to the point that I just don't try and organize anything anymore.

So yeah, long story short I'm depressed. I don't exactly try to hide it but I try to not let it interfere with my work, but it does. You know that feeling you get right before you start crying? An overwhelming sadness that makes you well up behind your eyes and feel a pinching sensation on the bridge of your nose? I get that all the time now, and so much of the time I can't even explain why. It just hits me out of nowhere, a wave of despair where everything feels hopeless and I feel like things are just going to get worse, like my debt's going to get to me, like my relationship is going to fall apart, like my friends are going to get annoyed with me and leave me, like my health is going to tank and I won't be able to afford the bills, or... honestly, like I'm just unloved, or even unlovable.

Usually I'd do a post like this in art form, but since I got other projects I need to work on, this journal was an easier solution for now.

Come january I'm thinking of teaching people what I know about art. I know I'm not the BEST artist out there, but I have a lot to offer outside application itself. Besides, I have some credentials! I do art for a living, so there's that. I also took art classes throughout both my college and high school careers, not in just things like art and life drawing, but in courses like art theory, humanities, art history, technical and engineering drawing, design, and others. So even though I can't say my 'art level' is top tier I'd like to at least think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to color theory, layout, perspective, and other such ideas. The reason I wanna do this? Because I really like teaching. Another reason? I'm in need of more money. Getting by is hard, and I'm in debt I'm no closer to paying off, and my computer is actually starting to die on me. Commissions can only carry me just so far, especially with my patreon obligations mounting up again. (Not ambivalent about that! I ~needed~ to focus more for my patrons, and I think I've finally got a system that's worth the investment for both me and my patrons)

My lesson plan will include the following:

Art theory- Learning about the fundamentals of artwork, from line usage, shading, texture, to more complex principals, such as balance, noise, and unity.

Application- Using the mediums of your choosing, learning to draw forms, bodies, objects, and backgrounds by objectively breaking down each object into basic elements.

Design- Using theory to create or decorate, in regards to characters or environments

Critique- Learning to utilize feedback to further advance your artistic development

Media choice- Learning to use your selected media to its fullest potential. (I personally have experience with various paints, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, marker, and digital mediums ranging from GIMP to Manga Studio. I will only be using Manga studio to demonstrate but will utilize the techniques of the mediums to emulate should you desire to learn something other than digital)

Overcoming Artist's block- Learning how to fuel creativity and avoid the oh-so common issue of art exhaustion and blockage.


So in essence, I want this to actually be a real and beneficial course, I want to be able to dedicate at least 3 hours a week to teaching a class for anyone that's interested in learning. I do NOT plan on charging a lot of money. I'm thinking either 10 USD per lesson, or take a 4 month course for a flat rate of 100 USD. The process to join will require the use of Discord. I'll be using it to stream privately and keeping in communication, as well as for both critiquing and sharing art. Yes, there will be homework, and no, taking my class will NOT qualify you for anything. It's meant only to pass on the knowledge I have to anyone that's interested in learning more, and hopefully be cheaper than trying to go to an art school. Full disclosure, if you want a job in art, you don't need a degree, you need a portfolio. So hey, maybe it ~will~ qualify you for something if you learn and produce enough. Maybe. I've gotten to a point in my backlog where I finally feel capable of accepting commissions again, or rather, soon. Thing is, I don't really know what to do yet. I'm thinking maybe some of my high-quality latex work might be worth a go, I'm thinking I could sell them for around $100, if I go for that photorealistic look. From now on I plan on doing themed thursday streams. I know I've got some people waiting on artwork from me, and you've all been very generous to me despite my shortcomings. Some art work I take time on, some I can pump out quick. Some art takes motivation, others I can draw mindlessly. As such I don't generally do my artwork in any particular order. Sometimes I get a sort of 'hangup' that keeps me from drawing, and I don't want to deliver a product that I'm not confident in. It's not a good business model, I know. It's terrible even. But I gotta do something to keep the art flowing and keep the food on the table. Honestly I'm open to suggestions. Unfortunately I'm notoriously bad at keeping to a schedule. Sometimes I get nightmares that keep me up, or chronic depression that either keeps me in bed or keeps my eyes from shutting. I'm kind of a mess.

I feel bad I've been taking a few days off now, but truth be told I'm going through a lot of depression right now. Nightmares every time I sleep, stress about my social life, stress about my finances, stress about my art work... I've got a lot on my plate and I don't want to eat any of it. generally speaking I'm a very realistic person though, I know that happiness and depression happen in a sort of cycle, and that I'll bounce back soon enough. The past few days have been getting better. I just feel like with as many people as I have waiting for art from me, I should put this out there and be candid about what's been going on.

The USB plug-in on my Wacom Intuos is broken. Apparently it's a common issue, but that doesn't make it any more infuriating. My only option is to either repair it or get a universal phone charger to charge its internal battery manually and just use the tablet wirelessly from now on. The former, while I'm confident I could do it, I'd rather not take any risks, especially since the damn thing's designed never to open, and I really don't want to break the plastic casing just to access the internals. So I'm stuck with the latter, and if that works then at least I don't have to deal with that damn wire anymore. Thing was falling apart anyway.

You'd think with all their tablets having issues with their wire connection they'd figure it out eventually and make a solid connection, but then again why would people buy new tablets if theirs didn't break, amiright?

In other news I've got all the YCH headshots done but one, the last being halfway finished before the tablet lost its remaining charge. What with my computer having sudden crashes, my tablet connection severed, my backlog piled higher than the Himalayas,, my back feeling like it's on fire for the past week, and owing the government tax money I'm not exactly the definition of stress free.

Taking today off, I know I said I was going to do more of those headshot YCHs today but it turns out my mucle cramps aren't from my sedentary lifestyle and lack of motion (Yay!) but instead from huge welts on my back likely caused by spider bites (Oh no!). I'm postponing the images till tomorrow and gonna put some ice on my back in the meantime.

OKay so if you're here reading this you probably clicked in from my disclaimer on my recent YCH image. Yes, it's for real, but no, I'm not actually happy about it. This is kind of a parody thing, but you really can get the image if you actually want in on it. I've seen reused cut and paste images labeled as YCH images that are way too expensive for the offered quality, especially considering the complete lack of effort in personalizing the images. It's bad for artist/customer relations once the customer realizes they're being ripped off, and that affects more than just the offending artist. People who put effort into doing what they do, rather than resorting to mass production, are going to be affected by hurt feelings from other fellow artists, especially when they're of the same niche, thus attracting the same customers. That, and those that put effort into their work but take time are being out-produced by the paint-by-numbers schlock that took maybe 10 minutes.

So hey, yeah, I posted a parody YCH and am actually selling it, but I just wanted these thoughts out there for smarter shopping, and if you really don't care, then more power to you. That's WHY I'm still selling this image despite the qualms I have. For one I'm not going to make this a habit, and for two I realize that some customers are aware and honestly don't mind.

"The Ball and Chain" is Patreon exclusive because it centers around the character of Patrons within that tier! That's right! Your character can be the main character of a comic page every month! My initial idea is to make them more kink based since "The Ball and Chain" most of the time centers around the kink/sex club of the same name. But if you want to be creative with it and maybe even form your own sidestory that works within the universe, feel free to talk to me!

Discord Server:
My Discord server is used to make announcements to my followers as well as allow them to chat, roleplay, make suggestions regarding the patreon and my art streams, and many other things! However, there is certain discussions I’d like to keep off limits.

- No harassment or rude behavior is tolerated. While we all make mistakes and are prone to saying the wrong thing from time to time, failure to comply when asked by myself or a moderator to cease inappropriate behavior can result in temporary muting or permanent ejection from the server.

-Political, Religious, Racial, or otherwise controversial topics should be avoided.

- Different channels should be used for their appropriate topics. As such, roleplay should be kept in the roleplay channel, Patreon discussion in the Patreon discussion channel, etc. Posts that are inappropriate channels may be deleted.

- I will also occasionally stream with voice chat, to which anyone on my Discord server may join and be part of the discussion. Same behavior rules apply.

- I reserve the right to decline image requests for any reason, which may include content or complexity.

- You may request changes while the image is in progress, but if the change is too drastic considering time and effort put into the image, I reserve the right to decline.

Stream Conduct:
Like my Discord server, please keep all commentary and conversations reasonable and friendly. Inappropriate behavior is not tolerated and can be grounds for removal or banning. My streams are open to all, whether or not they support me on Patreon, and as such I would like to keep my best foot forward in public areas. However, underage viewers are not allowed (anyone less than 18 years old) and will be ejected since my streams are rated adult. While content is not necessarily always going to be NSFW, its presence dictates that I cannot allow underage viewership.

Kingspine and Tails from the Ball and Chain Comics
Kingspine, my main comic, will be available to Patreon supporters when they are completed. One week later, they will be posted to Furaffinity. Tails from the Ball and Chain is currently still in its concept phase, but is planned to only have its first issue posted to Furaffinity, with subsequent issues meant to be available to patreon supporters only. Both comics are planned to use characters from my supporter base. I will make discord announcements periodically to ensure those that are interested can submit their characters for usage, and pull at random. The characters will NOT be story essential, and will be used simply as filler. By allowing me to use your characters in this context, you also agree that you will not attempt to claim ownership over the comic for any purpose.

Q: What’s the story behind Ball and Chain?
A: Well, originally the Ball and Chain is a kinky club within the world of Kingspine, so you can either have your comic pages
devoted to your character being dominated (or dominating others) in the club, or just going off on their own adventures
within city. You can make each monthly page a single sequence of your character doing something sexy, or if you would like,
you could talk to me and my writer Sly to create a narrative for your character to follow inside of the comic’s universe!

In regards to the Diamond ($100) Tier

Q: How does this tier work?
A: On top of the rewards it already includes, the main draw of this tier is the Personal Stream. If you’re in this tier, you

Could be rapid-fire sketches, a flat colored sequence, or whatever else you’d want that can hopefully fit into the allotted time!

In regards to what I can draw or like drawing

In regards to 'Art Requests'

Q:Seriously, how complicated can my request be?
A: So as I said, please be reasonable, no incredibly complicated characters, poses, scenes and don't ask for me to follow a
thousand different reference/example pictures otherwise I'm going to have to keep going back and forth between my drawing
and staring at a references. I'm trying to get through all of my requests in a month, so if I have a bunch that are complicated, it
slows down the process tremendously.

Q: How can I help make my request easier to read?
A: Organization and readability are the two key terms you want to follow here. I sometimes have a hard time reading super
minute details and if your request is just a huge block of text then some things may get lost. If anything, please use things like
bullet points (or numbered lists which may work even better) references/example pictures (but as I said not too many). Just imagine
yourself as the artist of your own request. If you need to keep scanning through huge paragraphs of text to find small details, that
would get annoying, so make it easy on both me and yourself! Thanks!

I know a lot of you are waiting on art from me. Don't worry! You have not been forgotten! I've been working a lot on getting my patreon running smoothly (Seriously guys, check it out, I bet you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere) and have been doing a lot of artwork for my supporters. Wanna start out with the right foot forward, you know? Secondly, my back has been killing me the past week, and I feel like my drawing posture is not the best. I've been trying different setups with differing results, but all in all it's hard to sit in one place long enough to get artwork done without my back acting up as a result. Thank you all for being so patient with me!

So as it turns out I really enjoy doing the free art streams. So I think i'm going to shift my patreon tiers away from comics and more toward streaming.

If you don't know already, I'm holding weekly streams where I draw pinups of characters for my supporters. It's only 15 dollars a month and the pictures are all fully detailed. It's a friggen steal.

So here's my new idea for a patreon:
$10 tier- you can get a flat color image every week
$15 tier- Shaded image every week
$20 tier- Two characters a week
$25 tier- unlimited drawings

All you have to do is show up to a stream, which I can do 3-4 times a week, maybe more if support gets high enough! Any feedback you have, send it my way!

Yes, first, spit takes out of the way, I did say FREE ART and meant it by all definitions. This past Friday on December 30th 2016, I hosted a stream in which all who showed were allowed to make requests, to which I would then draw in order of who asked first. By the end of the day (9 hours long) I had completed 7 images with a total of 10 characters in all.

Anyhow, the point is that it was a lot of fun, and all who came got free artwork. Secondly, those of you that want to participate in future streams of this nature will be happy to know that I'll be doing them EVERY WEEK. However, there is a catch. While the first one was free, the stream was intended to advertise my new patreon. for 10 US dollars a month, you can join the streams I will hold, once more, on a weekly basis. For just 5 dollars more, you can also put in your art requests!

So to do the math: Normally a flat shaded two character image would cost from me around $25. Show up once and you've made your money back and then some. Show up twice and you're essentially performing consensual robbery. Once a week means you can show up to all four streams and get four pictures at a ridiculously low price. Seriously!

In other words, please, please, PLEASE check out my patreon. I've got some fun rewards and I'll also be hosting two additional comics along side Kingspine, one being a kinky comic and the other being a choose your own adventure comic. So yes, lots of rewards to be had!

Kingspine, the collaborative comic between myself and Sly is intended to be an ongoing project. It's meant to be several issues spanning 12-20 pages per issue. Unsure how many issues of course, but there's a lot of story to tell and a lot of characters to introduce. A single page takes many hours worth of work though. I plan on opening up a patreon to help cover my living expenses while I work on this project. Eventually, if I get enough support, I'd like to have a website for the comic alone. I want the comic to be free to view for all, so don't worry about not getting to see it. However, I do need find ways of making this profitable if I'm going to manage to keep it going.

Here's some ideas I've had, and I'd like to hear any feedback you may have regarding them:

-Tails From the Ball and Chain is a planned spinoff comic, which I plan starting after the second issue of the comic hits. While Kingspine will have sexual coverage and various kinks, it is not intended to be a smut comic alone. Sly and I have spent many months detailing exactly what kind of world we wanted to build, what plot to devise, and what characters we'd have to move the narrative. As such, one of the locations to be shown later in the comic, and referenced in my artwork, will be receiving a more sexual and kinky comic of its own; The Ball and Chain.
The issue is that I'm not entirely sure if I want that comic free to view. Patreon supporters I'm thinking may gain access. Unfortunately I very much am opposed to making exclusive content, especially when it's so elaborate as a comic series. From a business standpoint, however, this might be the best way to get subscribers. If this does become a thing, I promise to keep the reward tier very low, like $5 a month.

-Kingspine is home to many, many diverse characters of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. You need look no further than the Ball and Chain Roster to get an idea of how diverse a culture it is. As such, I will be drawing a LOT of background characters. No easy task, trying to come up with unique and diverse characters and their equally different outfits. So my plan is to make appearance in the comic a reward tier. bearing in mind such an appearance would simply be characters on a sidewalk, or a park bench, completely inconsequential to the story. Going back to the Spinoff comic, should it be a different reward tier to be included in the more sexually involved spinoff?

-Streams. I'm no stranger to them, I've done many streams with mixed results. Sometimes I have empty rooms, maybe one viewer will pop in and remain utterly silent. Sometimes it'll be bustling with old and new watchers alike, mixed conversations covering all sorts of topics. Inconsistency however makes me tentative about the possibility of offering exclusive streams. As incentive, what I would like to do is offer such streams but with the intent of only drawing what the viewership requests. I wouldput down current projects and commissions and simply draw for entertainment, and those that support me will also get something fun out of it.

-Lastly, group chat inclusion. This one again I feel tentative as friendships and the like can make it a mixed bag, and I don't want anyone to feel treated unfairly. The core idea I'm presenting is to have supports be able to join a group chat, be it through Skype, Discord, or if I absolutely must get it to do this, Telegram, where backers can submit ideas and insights to the comic. I'll be honest, any such ideas will probably take a back seat when it comes to Kingspine, because as I said prior, Sly and I have spent a long, long time working on this story. However, this tier would have access to Tails from the Ball and Chain, which is flexible and non-canon, and such requests I feel ought to be commonplace for its content.

I got a job now. TO be honest though, the main issue is a major case of art block that may be derived from accepting more than I should.

But now I'm back. Hopefully! I'm going to try and keep up the art. One thing I want to do as well is start making plushies, so keep an eye out for those in the near future.

So a while back I wrote up some ideas that I really want to draw. I've actually drawn a few, but there's still some things on my list that I have yet to do, and an idea or two else I'd like to add. So, from this revised and simplified list below, which do you guys think I should do next?

Liu while I'm not going to share her age, is old enough to view and post adult artwork.

What's disappointing is the action inkbunny decided to take in regards to the situation. They suspended her account. And what do they repeatedly bring up to every support ticket asking for a repeal? Her skype account info. What the hell business do they have looking at her information on another platform? Oh, and you know the best part? They won't accept a real ID. A photo of her with her identification card isn't enough but her skype account is. I've had to deal with a lost account once before, when Starcraft 2 was still somewhat new. I had lost my info on my Blizzard account, and you know a method they asked for to prove myself? Photograph with me and my ID. If it's good enough for a company like Blizzard freakin' Entertainment, then what the actual HELL, Inkbunny?

Then there's the support crew themselves. Sassy Mo'fos. Seriously. Sarcasm in the trouble tickets and complete dismissal of any logic. So the troll wins. The scummy, maligned little man wins. Liu lost her account, a suspension that's scheduled to last 2 years. TWO YEARS! This is a part of her income we're talking about!

So yeah. I honestly don't have much of a point behind this journal. People will continue to use Inkbunny and that's fine. I'm just really upset with their support staff. Personally, I'll be avoiding that site. I guess I just felt like ranting about it. Maybe get some people to nod their heads and say "Yep, that's some bullshit" with me. So if you read my last journal, you may be aware that there is a particularly inarticulate person attempting to smear my image as much as he can. He's pursued me on various social media and continues to write libel and insults about me. Seriously, it's a miracle he hasn't started attacking me on facebook yet. He's done such things as call me a pussy boy whom whines like a SJW, tell people through personal notes not to commission me, and attack my art streams when it's not even online, leaving a wall of text for me to find when I wanted to start a stream.

I'll be honest, part of me finds it amusing. Most of his babble doesn't even make sense as he doesn't seem to actually understand the words he uses. It's like he's trying to make himself sound sophisticated. But the unfortunate truth is that due to his high commission consumption, he's managed to amass quite an impressive following. People like porn! Even if he didn't draw it, people will watch him to see what he bought. And thus I begin to worry. I don't want people to view me with the wrong impression since this guy told them not to.

So here's my request to you, my viewers and anyone that reads this: If this person messages you about me, please take a screenshot of the message and send it my way. This is a violation of the TOS, not to mention outright morally wrong.

Now before anyone yells paranoia at me, I do want you to take into consideration that this has actually happened numerous times before. I've already reported them, screenshots included, and punishment has been served. However, there is currently evidence that he's continuing to attack me through not only FA but other social media as well. Just today he attacked me through twitter.

No, unfortunately I can't mention any names. And unfortunately it'd be a violation for me to post the evidence I have already collected for verification. All I ask is that if you get told by this person to avoid me, let me know about it so I can work with the administration to make right of the situation. He's done this to too many people, and it needs to stop.

Screen capped what I have done? Oh dear, I'm so worried. Because what I have done is so horribly awful. Asked you politely to leave me alone. Numerous times. And your art is completely unoriginal. Why is that a bad thing? You're learning. Everyone learns through copying, but that doesn't make art original. I never even said it was bad.

I love how offended you get when the three words 'pointless and overdone' appear. It doesn't even make sense. There's no context! Also, whoever says shit like "I'm the nicest person on the planet" clearly has no conception of humility. No humble man would ever make such a claim. You're so wrapped up in your character being a 'true gentleman' that your reality is warped and twisted. You actually believe the shit you say about yourself. And what karma? Do you even know what karma is or means?

You've EARNED your reputation. You've EARNED the page you got on encyclopedia dramatica. I've seen the shit you post. The hostilities you throw at people. You are the absolute most inconceivably unaware and delusional person I've ever met.

I don't even have to mention your name. I know you're out there stalking me, reading this journal. You refuse to leave me alone. Every time I commission someone you immediately plaster your filthy icon in the comment section just to taunt me, knowing I can't reply because you've blocked me. You can't get enough of me. I don't even know what you get out of it, with your ceaseless pursuit of leaving your footprints all over my presence.

You've messaged people not to commission me. You've trolled on my streams where you're not invited. Yet it never occurs to you just to leave me alone. Who knows what else you've been doing.

And honestly a part of me pities you. You're clearly broken inside. Whatever is happening inside your head that drives you to pursue me, whatever part of you that drives you to use words you don't even understand to try to justify yourself and bring those around you down, these are not normal human drives. Your mind is a mess, your grasp of empathy completely nonexistent. You're a mental case that needs to get off the internet and get some real mental help.

Stop posting on my artwork. Stop talking about me behind my back. Stop coming to my streams. Stop even thinking about me. You have no reason to keep it up.

Since I've moved from Gimp 2.6 to Clip Studio Paint, I've had to make a lot of adjustments to how I draw. I have since learned a lot more about how to line and color efficiently and elegantly, so I've updated my price sheet to better reflect that. Also, the image is a bit more SFW than the last one ^^;
