He is an old suit, not even lined but he's fun to wear and is still my baby lol But overall Definitely Blakat and Slade and dino bone tail, maybe on my hyena.

As for his name, my hyena never had a name from the start and after some doodling and developing I am thinking of making him a 'greaser' and naming him Sodapop, one of the greasers in the bood The Outsiders. I remember he was my favorite character. I really need to read the book again X3 He won't be a cosplay form of the character, he's just named after the character. What do you guys think?

Recently my work schedule has changed so it's gonna take me some time to adjust especially since I already have been struggling with what it's always been. Instead of getting up for work at 7am it's 4am on weekdays and 6am on weekends. The past few days have been very exaughsting trying to get to bed early and sleep some and wake up in time for work, etc.. AHH It's stressful.

Normally the time I go to bed is about 2-3am so this is making it very difficult since now I have to get myself suddenly used to going to bed much earlier in order to be up at about 3am.

I'm still working on finishing the final 4 DAD drawings but being super sleepy doesn't do any good with that so they might not be done super quickly. But I have 3 days off in a row so I'll see how those days go!

And the prices for some were greatly reduced a bit ago.

All but the eggs are available. The eggs aren't only cos I can't spare the time right now to draw the designs out.

Hey all! I got a question! I have been trying to search for info on shedding and stages but I can't find anything. I know when a gecko is just about to shed they'll turn very pale, sometimes almost white as the skin separates. But before that, how long does it take for them to get to that point? Like is the shedding process a week-long process or does the skin separate and they get ready to shed within a shorter amount of time, like a day or even overnight?

I am asking because I just got a baby african fat tail gecko. He's about 6 months old and the breeder told me that he was in 'very deep shed' when she boxed him up. I have no idea what deep shed means, I tried looking it up and found nothing on it and I've never seen any other reptile keepers use that terminology, not in articles, blog posts, videos, etc.. so I assumed she meant he was turning pale and getting ready to shed. ANYWAY I got him and he looked normal compared the pics they got of him months ago when he first was listed for sale(may). I've had him since tuesday morning and have kept moisture and heat in his tank, the temps and humidity are at a nice level, etc.. He's had mealworms available to him in his tank consistantly(I get new ones in his bowl everyday & consistantly keep them fed w/ apple or carrots).

I understand geckos will sometimes refuse to eat if they're about to shed or after they shed since they eat their shed skin. The breeders feed all their geckos on mealworms so that's what I got for him, and they're not too big or anything. This little cutie has not eaten a single mealworm at all since I got him(tuesday morning) and there's no sign he's getting ready to shed, so at this point I'm not sure if maybe he shed on his way to me(I doubt it but still consider it)? Or maybe he's just not ready to shed yet? Again I don't know if they start the shedding process hours, days, or even a week before they turn white?? I tried looking it up but nothing XD

My overall concern right now is helping him shed well if he is going to shed, but mostly I don't want him to not eat at all if he isn't going to shed. I've done what I can to give him sufficient humidity and also avoid stressing him out. I just wanna be sure this little guy is okay, I've always wanted a reptile and I did tons of research and prepwork to prepare for this cutie but I'm still no expert on some details yet lol I would hate to lose this little guy for something silly that I could've easily helped in resolving, not to mention he cost $350 + $100 or more I spent on cage, cage accessories, etc.. though that stuff can be used for another gecko but I'd rather not think about that XD I know they can go without food for a decent amount of time, but I don't want to sit back and think that & later end up worrying if he still refuses to eat anything and starts losing weight or something. If there is something I should understand or do right now to help him shed or get him to eat then I'd like to do what I can! X3

I've been using twitter as a location to quicly spew out little vents when I really need to but that tends to flood the feed with venting. So instead I'll just post journals here if I really need to vent. Then I can type more and people can ignore them more easily if they want.

Also I want to unprotect my twitter so that my account is public. The reason it's private is to avoid my family seeing yeahmy vents since they're mostly about them. But I have my FA here set up so guests can't view stuff so I feel safe posting here. Anywhere else I don't feel safe.

Anyway, any journals I create that contain ventiong will have vent/venting in the title that way if you're really not interested you don't have to bother clicking. My venting is mostly cos I need to get stuff out and also cos I got no one to actually talk to so posting it here feels better for me than just bottling it up.

Anyway that's about it in regards to future vent journals.

I purchased him from geckobabies.com for anyone curious. He hatched 2-20-15 and he's an aberrant white out 100% het ghost morph.

I also will be drawing about 10 or so DADs for a large group drawing, so I got a lot of digital work ahead of me. Due to this all digital art commissions are CLOSED for the time being. I need to start focusing on cleaning up but once things get better I will ease into doing digitalwork alongside suitwork through YCHs! X3

I will also be focusing a lot on cleaning up my room area, I really need to make space here so I can work on suitwork I will be working on more efficiently! X3

I am back home and have been for a couple hours now. At the moment I am finishing up late lunch and I plan to take it as easy as possible the rest of the day because I have a headache that started about 2 hours into my trip(which was nearly 5 hours long) and I drove the whole way without breaks uUGH my brain hurt. Along with that I am kinda dizzy-ish, like it feels like I'm still moving but I'm not XD

So I will be working on digital work again. The status of them is as follows:

YCH-DAD with bird on wing is partially inked, need to finish inking then color, shade, and add in bg
Fluffy dragon design-Just needs to be colored, lines and stuff all done

After those three I'll be holding off from any other digital work to make the following:

I'll also be posting adopts in between the personal works

Then I don't have anything digital planned beyond that so I'll see what I wanna do when I get to that point.

I'm just curious to know if anyone does this, like artists and stuff. I mean would it be a good idea or a very bad one?

Cuz I am pretty sure I'm fired from my job due to attendance and I've resorted to pulling A LOT of all-nighters just to avoid being late for work. No other places around here will offer me the same pay/hours to compensate for the loss of this job and I have things I NEED to pay for each month. SO, I figured if I could get enough patreon support to help me pay for the important things at least that'll help, yeah? I could offer art and sometimes fursuit things as patreon rewards. I just need to know if this is a good option that I can resort to if needed. I have yet to use patreon and right now I cannot make fursuit work a full-time job. Also another benefit if this is something that could work, I could work around my own sleep schedule which I desperately need cuz it's super messed up and I either sleep 12 hours or more, 2-3 hours or not at all and I need to get it on a more consistant schedule. I ahve to drink 1 or more energy drinks a day just to keep up with stuff and one time I was up for about 36 hours and during that span of time I drank like.. 4 energy drinks XD Aaah. I woke up at 4pm today after a 12 hour sleep and when I went to bed last night I had been awake for nearly 40 hours!!

Things are not easy for me and stress eats me alive sometimes. I need to figure something better out but I feel too stressed and panicked all the time to just sit and think, I cannot even organize my thoughts and most of the time when I type up journals like this I just delete them and give up but I will force myself to post this one cuz I do actaully wanna know of patreon will work and I kinda need to know cuz I am sure I'll be fired tomorrow XD

If I'm late to work one more time I am fired. I can't afford that at all. I still live at my dad's. I NEED out. It's a baaaad environment for me. I don't feel safe or comfortable here. I cry my eyes out almost everynight and I'm depressed all the time. I really don't know how to get away from this. Living in my car sounds better than this but I can't do that.

I really hate these all-nighters but it's the best I can do to be responsible and on-time for work.. My alarms just DO NOT work for me and people don't always wake me up on time for work. I CANNOT be late. Also I am kept up until nearly 4am everymorning by people's inability to be considerate and turn their video game or tv show down or put on headphones or something. They gotta be loud cuz they're all stupid and like 'quality' or something like that. No joke, my dad even refused to watch a trailer for a movie on my laptop cuz it wasn't his massive high-quality computer screen. I have to get ready for work around 6:20am but if I go to bed super late it's much harder to wake up on time... so I stay up all night instead. And that makes the work day harder..Aaah!! >.<

I just wanna move out, become a suit maker, and not be miserable ever again please ;w; Cuz right now it's doing a very swell job of killing me.

If you like the ocean and also like the ability to explore an open world in video games I reccomend this game! It's still new and is in early development so they will be adding updates, for example in the game your giant crashed ship is not possible to explore but in the next update they're going to make it possible to explore!!

Basic description of the game: Your ship crashed on an alien planet in a huge ocean. You got a little floating life pod so you're not just stuck in the water, and you can craft! You use your 'fabricator' device inside your life pod to start out with and you can make food, water, and supplies from it. Also you can play the game two ways. There is freedom mode in which food and water are not required and survival mode where you have a food bar and water bar and gotta keep yourself hydrated and fed which I think is more fun cuz it makes the game feel a bit longer since you gotta take some time to collect food and water, things like that X3

Anyway, I've only played a little bit of the game but so far it's really neat! X3 It's colorful and the sounds when you are underwater are aaaawesome<3 What's really fun, too, is that the reefs closer to the surface are pretty and fun to explore and the farther out/deeper you go it gets creepy!!! Oooh<3 I looove the ocean even though large dark open water freaks me out wooo. In this game though if you just jump right into it you don't know what to expect! I reccomend playing it that way, cuz I think there are some pretty giant sea monsters but I am not sure, I want the game to feel as real as possible in that you have no idea what the place is or where you're at and you're exploring and surviving. It's fun!!

I have not played games in a long time cuz I've been all depressed and eeh about a lot of things, nothing has been fun for me anymore so this actually catching my interest so much well I just don't understand it but I'll go with it! X3
