My laptop seems to be suffering from a strange condition. Whenever I put it into hibernate or standby (closing the lid automatically does one of these two things, which I can switch between), after a short period of time, it turns itself back on. I've tried numerous things, namely disabling the "wake on LAN" setting in the BIOS, and I have no idea what could be causing this. I'm going to keep researching ways to combat this, but I was wondering if anybody that cares to read this has an idea of what is going on.

Holy fuck, 4chan sucks now. You can hardly get a post through without it being blocked by an ERROR: FLOOD DETECTED message, threads get deleted after like ten seconds, and everyone's a camwhore.

You know, I'm tired of spending weekends alone. All of my local friends have been very busy with moving, or whatever, and I think I'd rather interact with people then keep myself entertained. I'm going to branch out, call people I've been putting off getting in contact with, and make some new friends. I think I'll start with the Eagle's Landing folks, although they're mostly up in Boulder...which is a pain to get to. It's really too bad I don't know anyone in my local area, because it'd make things one heck of a lot easier to do. That, and my standards for people I'd want to be friends with have increased over the years, so I find a lot of people I'm not really interested in knowing too well, which doesn't help me much. But I'll give it a shot, and see what I can find.

So I'm getting an A in both my Intro Psych and Developmental Psych classes, and a reccomendation for the honors society from my professor (who has a doctorate in educational psych), who told me that I'm one of her best students, and gave me tips on how to get my Phd :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD
