General | Posted 5 months agoYes! It's that time of year again.

Game I loved is on sale rn!
General | Posted a year agohttps://store.steampowered.com/app/.....onlight_Pulse/
Game's on sale for just under $8 right now, I'd really recommend picking it up if you're a fan of metroidvanias and/or platformers, and Giant Space Turtles
Its a game that deserves sooo much more attention than it currently has, unknown game even!!
My Review for it ~ https://steamcommunity.com/id/sylxe.....ended/2243250/

I do plan on posting here more again especially now that I got my desktop back, but it uh well sorry to any watchers I still have left xD

Recovery + other stuff
General | Posted 2 years agoI didn't share all this too partly out of everything being such a shocker that going around to each platform and sharing it wasn't an immediate thought, and because of ... Well mostly that.
Pasted in from my message elsewhere:
So as you know, Monday my grandpa passed away in his sleep. I finally got this bit of info shared on FB from family about what he was going through:
For the past 5 years, Dean James has battled Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, along with other issues of advancing age. It took a toll on his body. Pulmonary Fibrosis is a horrible, progressive disease. The doctor described as lung tissue โturning to stoneโ. There is no cure, but he was lucky to quickly start an experimental treatment that slowed the progression of the IPF for 4 1/2 years. Over the last 6 months, the IPF caught up with him, and he needed to use a motorized wheelchair and oxygen 24/7. It finally forced him to stop working a job he loved. He was literally counting down the days to an appointment at UCSF in early September which he was hopeful would help him to breathe again.
This of course never got the chance to happen.
So, later in the day we're also told that without my grandpa's income + some agreement he had with the house owner, we're not going to be able to keep up with the rent on this place much longer. So family and some acquaintances have been making plans, but in regards to where and when I don't know. They say things will be covered and I trust them - grandpa had been making plans for this while he was still well too.
Then later in the day again, I test positve for Covid. So I've spent the last several days stuck in bed with chills/fever one day, headaches all around, and overall not being the best I could be.
So, as of right now I'm feeling well enough to be out of bed finally but am still in the process of fully recovering (And of course needing to ensure I'm fully over it before being around people again) and I've found I still don't respond well to bright lights, needing my computer monitor's brightness toned really low. I'm just glad that the constant headaches have dropped down to just a minor inconvenience and I don't need to be in bed all day.
In spite of everything else that's gone on - and in such a short period of time too - I'm still feeling fairly optimistic for the future.
And thanks for all the warm thoughts and wishes all <3

Grandpa passed away
General | Posted 2 years ago[Pasting in because I can't be bothered to type this same message more than once xD]
The last time we saw my grandpa was around 9pm last night. He passed away in his sleep sometime between then and this morning - my aunt called him at 8am and he wasn't answering his phone. At noon she called me and asked me to check on him. That's when I confirmed he was cold and not breathing.
As for what's next, I don't know.
I probably won't be around much for a little while though, sorry! I'll try and get work done in the meantime even if I'm not around online
