I've been meaning to write this for awhile and figure now's a better time than never!

So concerning trades with me, just as a note, I always have an updated list at the footer of my journal that's constantly being updated as progress is made (on either end).

However, I don't always go in order of that list! Here is what will bump you up as a priority and get your piece done quicker... I'm more inclined to finish a piece for you if you complete your half of the trade first (it shows me that you're dedicated and encourages me to want to make yours sooner!).

Now, I understand everyone's busy and we all have other commitments (be it commissions, prior trades, work, real life stuff, etc.), so this definitely is not intended to make anyone feel pressured! It's just merely a little note about how I work. :)

That said, I really cherish the trades I've done thus far and look forward to more in the future!

SO 8 THINGS!:
1) First an foremost, I'm weird. I'm willing to bet that I'm, quite possibly, one of the weirdest people you will ever meet. (I have a bone collection, am obsessed with studying monkeys, and my favorite toppings on a pizza are pineapple and black olives.. yes, together. It's divine.)

2) To go along with being one of the weirdest people you'll ever meet, I'm also probably one of the most immature people out there. I think peens are hilarious. Seriously, my mom is concerned that I may have penis envy for how often I joke about them.

3) I love listening to music but am retarded when it comes to actually playing it. Apparently my fingers are nimble enough to sew and paint, but not enough so to play guitar. (Well.. that, and admittedly I also have no sense of rhythm. --I blame that and my inability to dance on my caucasian-ness. EFFIN' CRACKAH HERITAGE!).

4) On that note! Growing up as a white chick in the U.S., I feel I have no connection to a culture of my own, and therefore, find comfort in other cultures (particularly and especially Latin American culture, which I assume I've developed an appreciation for by growing up in Los Angeles).

5) My university mascot is a BANANA SLUG and no matter how many times we've made it onto one of those "Top 10 Lists of Stupidest Mascots," I am DAMN PROUD OF MY 'NANNER SLUG! :D

6) My two dogs are the loves of my life. They've been with me all the way from elementary school through my college graduation, and I'm happy to say, are still with me! :) Seriously, they are my children, my brothers, and my elders. They have taught me so many lessons no other human could ever teach. <3

7) I often times forget I'm a "human." (Hear me out before you start to roll your eyes!). I feel this way mainly because I don't really relate to our species (humans and other primates are way too crafty and manipulative for me!). So, instead, I release my confusion about what it means to be a human by studying humans and trying to learn more about what makes humans, so.. well.. "human." --and that's why I majored in Anthropology!

8) Lastly, I must stress how much I love and appreciate the presence of non-human animals on this planet. There is so much to be learned from them that, sadly, many people don't often realize or recognize. As a result of many years of the domestication of our own species, I feel the general human race has "lost touch" of how to communicate with members of other species. But let me assure you, there are ways of communicating with them.. it's not easy, and it's not like saying, "Hey Sparky, what's up? How ya feelin' today?" It's very complex, but oh so rewarding when you figure it out. (I'm certain you probably think I'm a raving lunatic at this point, but I'm willing to accept that! ...told ya I was weird! ;])

I'm fairly new here, and thus, I have fairly noob question..

*How does one acquire a ton of friends/watches?*

Seriously! It seems like every page I go to, that person has at least 50+ friends-- even if the account is either inactive, or only being used to favorite things.

I have 16 watchers at the moment, and seriously, I couldn't be more grateful for those of you who have graciously befriended me and are willing to allow me the privilege of pouring my silly art into your inbox. (Really, it means a lot.. over on dA I have like 6 friends, and with all due respect to modesty, I couldn't ever understand how people who drew anime stick figures had like 1,000 watches and I had.. well.. 6).

I completely understand if it's a case of not being a fan of the art (because understandably, we're not all fans of everyone's work!), but I'm just curious to know how I might be able to expand the variety of furry friends within the community. (I really like it here, and I enjoy meeting new people, so the more the merrier!). :)

Anyhow, I appreciate any responses and advice as to how to go about making more furry friends.. it means a lot!
