Anywho, Season's Greetings to everyone! I hope you're getting/have gotten everything you want! And, of course, I hope you've given plenty to your loved ones and others as well. uwu

So, what's you're favorite thing that you've gotten? I got a Pacific Rim DVD and Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus, but by far, my favorite thing that I've gotten is the Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams. It's a book full of animation tips and I'm excited to start digging into it. uwu

I'm not terribly sure how to properly word this, as it's my first time considering this, but ...

Would you guys be able/want to help me make some money (as I'm jobless right now) by giving money to donation incentives? I have a few ideas that I'm pretty sure I could work with.

The thing is, I'm still not sure if I want to put out my e-mail (privacy and security reasons/fears) and I'm just not sure how to go about doing it. Also, I would only be taking real money, not points. Unless I can make points into money, but if I can't, points are out.

The ideas going through my head right now are:

Egg evolutions - An idea I've seen done, the idea is that I introduce an egg and you guys would donate so that I could draw the next step in the evolution. It would cap out at a certain point, so I would only go so far with the egg. However, you guys would be able to see the egg evolve into several points before I finally cap off donations. The egg would be introduced and from there I would go to a point of $5 for the next evolution, $10 for the step after that, $20, $40, and then $60 (maybe $80 and $100 (???) for a very final step). This could easily get a good deal of living money.

F-Type - F-Type would be a pseudo-sequel to E-Type (shown here: http://spottedalienmonster.devianta.....llery/39416745 ), the small series I created to showcase a small fictional story involving genetic mutation and transformation. F-Type would showcase a male character as they gradually obtain wings to fight an evil force. I may make this one more fantasy oriented than E-Type (which was more sci-fi and even a little apocalyptic).

Some other kind of transformation/evolution/something something? I'm open to a couple suggestions, but I'm avoiding comics until I'm able to successfully create one for sale. I don't fully trust myself with that yet.

Obviously, I plan to open commissions soon, but I need to restructure my prices a little. I don't quite plan to go the industry standard as I know people would flip if I did that and I would likely get no business from it, but it's come to my attention that my prices are perhaps too cheap.

And, yes, I do have a few comic ideas going through my head, but I'd rather not state them right now as I've not made great strides on my ability to create comics quite yet. When they're ready, you will hear about them.

Hey, guys! Sorry I haven't been around. I've been putting a lot of time and effort into my other stuff, school, and finding a job. This account tends to get the back end of my attention, so I'm not always on, and that brings me to something else ...

I'm not really sure I want to be on FurAffinity any more. The large reason I joined was because I was told that it was an ok place with a great community.

What I've experienced is an ok place with a lot of porn. I neither draw porn nor do I terribly like it.

Are there people on here who do not post porn? Certainly, but the general reason people seem to be on here, from what I've experienced is ... well, porn.

I'm not sure about any decision yet, but I just am not sure if I want to be on FurAffinity anymore. I'm going to keep thinking about it, but ... yeah. There aren't a lot of reasons for me to put more time into FA that I can see.

Because a surprising amount of people have been asking me about Commissions right now (they are Closed, currently) I think I'll be opening up a waiting list.

I've been thinking. And I've thunk and thunk and thunk. And then I thought and thought and thought.

And ya know ... I think Art Trades are going to be on an ask only basis. A.K.A. "If I want to, I'll do it, if I don't, I won't."

I was speaking with my friend Pancake today and decided it would be fun to do an art trade with them. However, I felt I should open it up to people who want to have one with me as well.

The trouble is, I'm fine accepting one from one person while another I don't want to but I will anyway. When one asks I feel I have to take it and when another asks I feel I have to turn them down because I wouldn't take another one. I tend to be one of those people who doesn't like to be disliked, which can ultimately bite me in the arse often.

If it sounds confusing, don't worry, I don't quite have it figured out either. It's just that I try to be very nice, which for me can be misconstrued as accepting to do something I absolutely don't want to do and will probably be the worst for me. This happened a lot when I first offered requests. People saw I would draw inflation for free. As a result, I only offer requests to friends while providing very few paramaters as to what qualifies as a "friend."

So, let this be me opening the flood gates. If you want a trade, ask. Just ask.

We'll see how it turns out.

Chibi Beasts are basically what they sound like. I take a character that is usually pretty imposing and fierce or is just plain an animal and turn it into an adorable chibi! If you have a character that you would like this treatment done on, all you have to do is commission me.

Third, the year in review. Ugh. I got some stuff done, which I'm happy about, but I didn't get as much done as I wanted. Case in point, I just remembered some designs I how someone (sorry, GWDill!). Case in point 2, there were so many comics I wanted to do, but those didn't happen.

My gosh, I just AARRGGHH!

On a brighter note, I learned PS Elements does have some stuff I can use to up the art quality, which brings me to:

GOALS OF 2013

Make comics. Make characters. Get my stuff out there and get into the field! I want to start making a profit off of what I do. I don't think it'll be enough to become independent without a second job, but I think I can do it (P.S. buying Commissions would really help me with this goal~).

MAKE COMICS! I don't just mean, "Sits down every once in a while to make a quick funny," I mean, "It's religious now, I can't stop doing this, I have to keep going, WHY CAN'T I STOP?!"

Better writing.

BETTER ART.

Run outside some!

Get a new job!

Get and internship!

Be on the computer less! That means not answering as many things from you guys, unfortunately, but with some of what I've seen ... I can be kinda glad of that.

Just being a better creator of stories! And I don't just mean making good stories, I mean thinking of them and not just putting them by the wayside.

Draw more often.

I'm trying to reprise a character. No, you're not writing a bio, just hear me out.

I've changed his name to Morgoth, and I have a bio written out for him. But the thing about him is that he has been asleep in this story's world for about 1000 years. As such, legends tend to assemble about things like this. So, here's what I'm requesting you to do:

I would like to ask if you would make a fable/tall tale/fairy story/historical document about this character. Just a paragraph is all I ask, heck, you can just leave a sentence and leave the interpretation to me. I just want to make a few fairy stories about this guy, so that when he awakens (if he awakens) these can kind of serve as a little conflict and background to the world. If you have something that is near and dear to your heart, I would not recommend giving it to me as I would probably mishandle it in some way, shape or form (not using it/making it like you don't want it/putting too far in the background for your taste). But if you just can think something up on a whim, and think, "Eh, it's ok," then, yeah, it'd probably be ok.

So, here's the sentence where you decide whether you want to or not.

Morgoth was a powerful dragon in his time, known for stealing souls and destroying cities. He lived for 300 years above ground before disappearing for the next 1000 years. While he was feared, he did not strike daily, monthly, or even every decade. He simply existed it seemed. People have speculated about where he came from and what he is. As such, tales have come up. Some portray him as a villain, others a god. Some are just called fairy stories since Morgoth went to sleep, others are recounted as history. None are truly correct, but some are more truthful than others. All recount Morgoth, whether he be wicked, a destroyer, or a trickster of sorts. Some think they know where he came from and went, others are very vague. Is he legend? Or did he truly exist?

If you decided to do it, then thanks a bunch! I can't wait to see what you come up with. :D

WereBeasts is probably not going on much longer, AT LEAST for now. I have a list and, who knows, if I'm bored, I may call on it. But I'm not drawing every single one and, quite frankly, some I said I'd draw may not get done. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is.

As for stories, I have a short one (very short) lined up and a longer one which may yet come to fruition, I'm not sure. I have loads of stories I want to get to, but I'm thinking I may just want to get this one out there. Again, not sure, but we'll see.
