Yeah I know I'm like, 2 weeks late but whatever xD

To put it simple, It was literally the best three days I ever had in my life. PERIOD. With all of the crap that's going on in my life, that convention was well needed haha.

Even though I was all shy and awkward throughout the entire con, I met a ton of new people and made some new friends as well, like , and her sister, ,, , SnowTheFox, Lockheed, Kaliper, and Koebi (hope I didn't forget anyone) It was a blast to hang out with you all, I hope we can do it again next year <3333

I finally had a chance to hug a fursuiter for the first time which was Avanto (with Clawy inside) and that made me want to get one of Raww someday. Sooooo fluffy haha x3

Got to see and Pepper Coyote perform for the first time and I went to my very first Fursuit Dance competition and I enjoyed every minute of it <3333

All and all, I had a great time and I'm definitely gonna try to come back next year, I think next years dates fall around Valentines day weekend, hopefully my job will let me have those days off ;0;

Yep, I'll be at Texas Furry Fiesta in a couple of weeks!!! This will be my first convention ^^

Yep, I turned 23 yesterday, thanks again everyone for the birthday wishes!!! <3

And now fo what's been going on with me...

I decided to transfer from a Walmart stocker to a MP Order filler at Walmart DC, It's a pretty great job!!! Tiring, exausting, and frustrating at times, but pretty great, and it pays almost double what I was making working retail. I don't know how long I will last here, but I hope it's for a long time. X)

Art wise, I haven't been drawing as much as I use to lately. My art drive has dropped almost completely. :/ I remember when I used to doodle a sketch everyday, but now it's like once a week. I'll try to post something up sometime next month.

Also, I have been thinking about doing an art stream one day, would anyone be interested in me doing those? I know some people have been asking me how I do my lineart, coloring, shading etc. So I thought a livestream would be a good idea, plus I could do some free sketches and headshots as well! ^^

*coughs* It's been a while since I did this huh? X3 Since I have some free time, might as well give ya a heads up on what's going on with me ^^


As most of you have already known, I recently got hired as a Overnight stocker at Walmart, had to find another one because my last job sucked haha. At one while, I was working both jobs, but that didn't last very long, Coming off one job at night and going into another during the day wasn't very fun, so I ended up quitting my old job after doing that for about 3 months.

Because of me working a night job, I'm usually asleep during the day, and I hardly ever have time do draw like I used to sadly. I usually average 40+ hrs a week so yeah, it's pretty tough to find free time to draw or to answer most of my messages for that matter x)

Also, I'm trying my best to knock out that list on my main page because I really want to take on some new work :u I'm hoping to have it done (or at least half of it) by this year. I know most of it I'll have to redraw, because its outdated as heck and I learned so much about painting since I first took them on xD

Sorry for the inactivity in art lately, things have been very busy for me. I recently got a promotion at the job I work at (which keeps me busy constantly) I finally get more hours but the same minimal wage pay >< Its been tiring for me since then. Some days I come home late and I'll be too tired to draw anything, so it's affecting my art a little bit as well. As for the requests I'm working on, I'm going through an art block on the anatomy and some of the ideas, so that's why I'm slow in my art. They said that working on something else helps out art blocks, but its not working for me at all. I have everyone sketched out and I have most of them rendered, But the positions doesn't look right to me :/ I may have to redraw some of them and keep it simple since I'm still a newbie in anthro art (It wasn't until august of last year when I started drawing anthro) so I'm pretty frustrated right now. Hopefully some time this week I'll have something for you guys. And I haven't forgot about the people I promised gift art to, I'm working on that as well, but I'll probably won't finish them up till I'm through with everyone I owe requests to, unless I get stuck again.

Wow!! That was kinda quick!! xD I really didn't expect that many in this amount of time! It really makes me happy that people actually like my art! I'm always working and willing to improve and come up with things that is original and never done by another artists before, It really makes me happy to see it pay off. I know I'm a little inexperienced art and there maybe flaws all over my pieces, but I'm always working on improving my art and hopefully, my mistakes would diminish in time. Art was the main thing I didn't expect to get popular in. So thanks to all of you who have been supporting me so far!!!

Ok, I rarely write journals because of the lack of people that reads them, but something is telling me to do this....

A good artist is in desperate need of help right now. He is struggling financially and from what I heard, is not doing well at all. I don't know what else he is going through right now, but I HOPE he's not going though what I think he's going through, that would really tear me up. The main reason why I'm doing this for him is because he's not like the other famous artists who acts all stuck up and just make friends with other famous artists. this dude is kind and has a good heart, heck, he talks to me at times and I know I ain't famous or anything like that. I sure wish I had a paypal, I would have given him my all.

So, if you guys have a paypal and you have a little bit of money to spare please help him out. whether its a $1 or more or even 50 cents, donate if you can.

Ok,I can't wait til 20 submissions!!! I'm getting a little tired of doing personal art, so I am now open for requests!!!

Here's the stuff I will NOT draw:

Humans: I'm not good with them.
Ponies: They never come out right XD
Baby Fur: It looks disturbing Besides I can't draw a diaper.
Anything sexual (Adult): I have a little brother and a sister and my mom is a pastor, nuff said.
Hyper Genitalia or other sensual parts : Who wants to see a mouse with a walrus sized #@$@?
Super violence: Seriously, no one has that much blood.
Excrement of any kind: No #1's or #2's or #3's here. Sorry.
Any other thing that I'm not comfortable drawing that I didn't mentioned yet.

I would pretty much draw any thing that is clean like:

Feet: Who dosen't like foot paws?
Fat furs: I can give it a shot.
Inflation: I can try ^^
Macro or micro: Big and little things are always fun to draw!
And any other thing that is not mature or adult rated that I didn't mention.

I will draw them in either traditonal or digital depending on your choice but note that some traditional drawings may not be colored traditionally and will be colored digitally.

I will Ink all drawings unless you rather have it uncolored and I will include shading in both styles.

I can draw in either a toony style or a semi realistic style.

It's like getting a commission, but it's free!

Oh yeah! Make sure you have a ref sheet or some other good pic that I can reference off of so I won't mess up your fursona! And also give me a little info about that character, that way if you want me to draw something humorous and you have a certain like or dislike thats easy to bend, It will be much easier for me to twist than to make up my on situation. I enjoy drawing that way because it's much more fun to draw something humorous than to draw regularly in my opinion and I love to make people smile when they look at my artwork. Even if its just a little smile, I'm satisfied.

Note that I am a SLOW drawer and it may take a while for me to finish requests depending on the amount of detail of a drawing. I may also jump from request to request to make things faster, so if I finish someone else request first and not yours, you know the reason now ^^

So this is pretty much all I can think of right now, so if you want your fursona to be drawn by me just note me and tell me what you want me to draw and I'll draw it for you! just make sure you read my guidelines first! You can pass this journal around if you like. I'm pretty sure almost every one on FA would like some free art. I would only have 5 slots open for right now and once I get the hang of doing this, I would extend it to 15 slots. It's been a couple of weeks since I've been drawing on my new graphic tablet and I'm starting to get the hang of it. Once I feel more comfortable drawing on it, I'm gonna be doing some free art for you guys. I don't have a paypal yet so I can't do commissions at the moment, perhaps later when I get one set up, I will be doing some. But in the meantime, I will draw stuff for free just for the fun of it, and I don't plan to draw anything crappy either, I don't like to draw boring art XP, I like to draw stuff with at least a five color background and I love to find humor in my art as well. I will start this as soon as I get to about 20 or more submissions and I will post a more detailed journal about what I will and will not draw. I'm not sure what is the after affect of this, but I'm pretty sure a lot of artists out there would love some free art. I might as well prepare for it when it happens and by then you can say to me "Well, you asked for it".

I finally got myself a graphic tablet! It was an early birthday present from my dad. He gave it to me early because he spoiled the surprise gift that I bought him. That sneaky fox! I'm gonna be doing a few practice drawings before I start doing commissions. I'm probably going to be doing them for free since I don't have any account set up for you to give me money. I think I have a general idea on how commissions work, but I'm not 100% sure. I never published my art before, so I'm kinda new to the game. Anyone knows how the commission thing work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

I've decided it's time for me to go a different direction in the art world. What I'm currently doing in submitting my artwork is that I draw out my ideas, color them, scan them on my computer, then fix them up with a paint program. It seems pretty easy, but fixing my work with the mouse on my laptop is a pain in the wazoo. Sometimes my scanner doesn't pick up my shadings and I end up either messing them up, or leaving them out.
To make life more easier for me (my hands mostly), I've decided to search for a graphic tablet. From what I heard, they say that Wacom makes the best graphic tablets, so I'm thinking about getting me a Bamboo Create from that brand. It seems like a good tablet to me, at least its easier than painting with a touch pad mouse! Plus the price is not that bad and it has more software options. Its a pretty big tablet too, and I love stuff that's big to draw on. The only thing that bad about it I think is that the pictures doesn't show up on the tablet and you have to look at the computer screen. But I'll chose that over my old way any day. If I ever get good at using graphic tablets, I'll upgrade to an Intros 5 and give the other one away or keep it as a spare. If these graphic tablets work just like pencil and paper, the upgrade from paper to a graphic tablet would totally be worth it.
