Do people comment nowadays?
Posted 8 years agoIt's usually just a favorite or a glance/view of said artwork and then you're off right? Why leave a comment or feedback?
Nothing wrong with just favoring and not leaving a comment, a lot of people don't have much to say.
However, it is not wrong to simply leave a 'nice work' or 'good job' even an over the top or silly comment can make someone's day.
Commenting is powerful, it let's you criticize but also allow you to express how you feel. If I have words to say about a drawing, I tend to comment and let them know how I feel. Commenting is nice, and not all the websites have the feature, so I try to not take it for granted. It's always nice to leave a comment, so If you see my art, someone else's or just want to leave a shout telling the artist they're doing a good job, it will certainly make's someone's day. Thank you for reading, keep in touch with me will ya. Adios!

I need your opinions!
Posted 8 years agoSo I've tried to picture myself as a pokemon before, but I'm bad at choosing favorites let alone a good pokemon to represent myself.
Ironically as much as I like birds, I don't wanna be a bird pokemon.
So gimme your thoughts in the comments, if you could picture me as a pokemon, what would it be?

Tell me something.
Posted 8 years agoTell me anything, comment here or send me a note, I have almost 100 watchers on here and I don't see any of you ever. Granted I don't post too often but when I do there's no one besides the usual people that favorite and the occasional comment here. I'm just trying to post things you and possibly more people will like, can't blame for trying to communicate.
What do you guys wanna see more from me?
Posted 8 years agoI'm more or less quiet here when it comes to posting things, but at this point, things have been busy in my personal life, and I'd get more into detail with that but it seems whenever I try to reach out for communication or ask for an opinion, no one is there to talk to me or share with me what they think. It's a bit annoying if i'm honest but here's another go at it, what do you think I should focus on or start drawing more as an artist? I'm asking for constructive criticism here and I look forward to what any of you have to say!
New Icon god bless

Should I make a Discord Server?
Posted 8 years agoI got on FA in an attempt to put myself out there as well as to meet new people and make some new friends, whether they were also artists or simply watchers that enjoyed my work. The more and more I post, the more disconnected I tend to feel. Comments are rare and any actual talk or feedback just isn't there unless you go out of your way to tell/beg people to comment or respond. It's sort of annoying that I can't have a decent conversation without it being short answer or uninterested banter. Making a Discord Server isn't going to make things easier but it will allow anyone who does want to get to know me or want to talk about art, easier to reach me. I'm not one to need any kind of interaction but it is nice to talk to people and just ramble and go on about anything. Video games, porn, art, etc. I would enjoy being able to talk with people about that.
So I'll ask, should I make a Discord Server or is that a lost cause at this point? I hear many tales of people being in way too many servers and yet another one isn't going to do them any favors. What do you think?

Frustratingly Tiresome
Posted 8 years agoMan is living life stupid or what, wish I could just focus on art instead of having to keep working this job of mine. There’s many moments while I’m working at my Job that I feel like drawing but cannot, and It sucks considering I always feel very tired after work like right now. Even on my days off, I feel like just sitting back and not doing anything at all, not even playing games and stuff. It’s become a real pain, and I’m not sure how to really beat it outa me. My motivations are there, y’know, become a better artist, draw comics, etc. But my energy is drained as hell. I’m not sure what to do here but i’ll keep trying to draw regardless, have a good one! Thanks for readin!

Should I start commissions>?
Posted 9 years agoThe thought of commissioning has been in my mind for the longest time, but I don't really think i'm at a level to start commissioning, however, that's just my perception, many of people and friends have told me to start commissioning, but I'm still unsure. If I do start commissions, I want my work to feel worth paying for, instead of just doing simple requests that are doodles or sketches. Another thing to consider is my work schedule, I usually work 3-5 days varying between 6-9 hours a day, sometimes I don't have the energy to draw after work either(usually because I get off work around 1 am)
I ask to all of you if you could give me your thoughts. Am I ready to start commissioning? Is my art at a level where you would pay roughly around 2 to 10 dollars for it? And finally, should I focus more on Improving my art before I do start commissions or should I start commissions and Improve as I go>?
Cheers to all of you who weigh in your thoughts! Have a good day.

Update
Posted 9 years agoSo I bet you're wondering why I haven't posted on here much, I've been very busy lately with work and other IRL factors.
However, I have been staying active on my tumblr. If you haven't checked it out yet, I suggest you do, I post more doodles and sfw things there and just random whatever that could interest you.

Should I post traditional stuff?
Posted 9 years agoSo I have a full time job aside from posting art here, and usually I draw things on my notepad while I'm at work, just small doodles and such. I feel as though I should only post digital work here though. Any thoughts? Should I also post traditional art or just digital?
