Index for Mammalian Species - bookmark it!
Posted 15 years agoIn my perpetual quest to discover how many nipples our various mammal relatives have, I came across this invaluable resource - the American Society of Mammalogy's ongoing publication:
http://www.science.smith.edu/depart.....i/default.html
Papers 1-807 are available free online, and later editions will no doubt appear as time goes by. It doesn't have every species in it yet. For example, a lot of primates, including the gorilla, are missing.
The easiest way to navigate it is to use the order list in the left-hand column to find your species (the vast majority of beasts of interest to the furry fandom will be found in the order Carnivora, of course), then take note of the number of the pamphlet and go to the PDFs page to find it.
I have just used it to find out how many toes red pandas have, and along the way discovered they apparently don't have pads.

Art paper for laser printers?
Posted 15 years agoI was mucking around in an art supply shop in the city yesterday and they had a whole wall of fancy paper for making art reproductions. Some of it looked like watercolour paper and some like photo paper. It said it was for inkjet printers. I have a colour laser. I wonder whether any of that lumpy paper could be used with a laser? So far I've only used normal and heavy smooth paper.

Patterpillars
Posted 16 years agoWondering what the little dude in my new icon is?
He's a patterpillar, a super-simple toy that moves like a real animal when you stroke it.
I make them - check my shop page: http://pantheon.comicgenesis.com/shop.html

Posted 16 years agoHm, there are a few things missing from this gallery that could do with being here. Like my "Filthy beasts!" series and my Beauty and the Beast porn...
I need to tidy up my DA gallery and see what got deleted from it for being too Rude.

Posted 16 years agoHey, peoples, good news! I'm not dead. :D
I just started a new comic called The Dark Lord's Garden (Link to first page: http://darklord.comicgenesis.com/d/20081216.html), which updates when it feels like it. Only a few pages up so far. Contains noodity, sex and gay and all that good stuff, so NSFW. There are human and non-human people in it. The main character is a leather-clad, (supposedly) evil wizard and his husband is a wolfman who used to guard the fortress. These days, the guarding is done by a big furry red and black beast-demon and the gardening is done by little red imp demons. There are to be various other humans floating around in future, such as Keith the Dark Apprentice and a priest from Foreign Parts.
If you liked my old comic, The Pantheon, its archives seem to have resurrected themselves at http://pantheon.comicgenesis.com .
Other stuff that may be of interest...
* Not making soft toys any more, it's too much like hard work!
* Now running on testosterone instead of that silly old oestrogen stuff. Upgrade, we has it.
* Might try and do some ordinary drawing commissions some time if anyone is interested. Need to make some new samples, since I stopped drawing for a while.

A good time to order!
Posted 19 years agoI will be away from 8th-22nd of January. If you would like to order something from me, I can work on it during that time, but everything will need to be finalised beforehand, as I will have electricity, but no internet access. If you email me while I'm away you'll have to wiat til I get back for a reply.
Somethings include soft toys, drawings, sculptures, etc etc... Does anyone not know about CRE'ATURES? :D
www.rahball.com - sculptures and soft toys and similar
rahball.furtopia.org - drawings, with commissions info.
I am also interested in trading my less costly art for fake fur (the really good stuff, not A1 Craft Fur (identified by bright colours, scruffy appearance and low prices)). Anyone got a metre or two lying around they don't mind parting with? :)
