Hey guys. I know I haven’t been very active on FA for a while. I’ve mostly been on Twitter. But that’s a bad habit I want to change. I have low mental bandwidth to keep up with multiple social media accounts. I was juggling Twitter, Twitch and FA for a while but then FA got neglected. I know that may not seem a lot. A lot of people juggle FA, Twitter, Twitch, instagram, TikTok, bluesky, YouTube, Snapchat, all of that all at once, and I just don’t see how that’s possible. I don’t like being glued to my screen 24/7. So for me 3 or 4 accounts is too much to keep track of.

But I’m gonna try and give my FA account more attention and be on it regularly. Nurture it back to health in a matter of speaking. The advantage is I have a shit ton of artwork to post that I will attempt to post at least a couple pieces a day. So hopefully if I can keep focused, there should be a lot of activity here for the foreseeable future.

Hi guys just writing to update you on my current social media situation. My main twitter page was hacked on October 2nd and whoever hacked my account changed the email address and password. I had no access and I couldn’t reset my password or get assistance from Twitter support since the email address I provided didn’t match the one on the account anymore. I know this because when they ask to send a password reset request to the accounts email it shows the first two letters of the accounts email and the two letters weren’t mine. So Twitter support said there was nothing they could do.

I monitored my page as a simple viewer and several times I watched the @ handle change back and forth between rainyatsu to rainrainyatsu. Someone was constantly changing the handle for some reason. It was very disturbing to watch my account get manipulated by some unknown person or entity. A few hours later the page went blank and it wouldn’t show up any tweets, media or anything. The hacker deactivated my account… the bastard actually had the nerve to delete years of progress and hard work. I don’t know why someone would do this to me. If it were trying to hold my account ransom hostage or find financial information from it then that would make sense, fucked up and shitty, but would have some logical goal to it. Not this guy, his objective was to hurt me and have me watch over 6 years of work burn in front of my eyes.

Needless to say these past few days I’ve been in a very bad situation mentally, constant panic attacks and sleepless nights. I tried to appeal to Twitter support but it was useless. The only other option I had was to use my AD account. It was an account that I didn’t tell many people about, something more for me to share a bunch of selfies and vacation pics. So I decided that my main account was a lost cause. I deleted any riské pics from the AD account and rebranded everything to make it look like my old account. Now I’m just trying to rebuild what I had and I would appreciate it if you all could give it a fallow.

So since so many people are complaining about the story's pacing, I'm omitting the last page and will add a few more pages between 124 and 125 so we can have a more fleshed out representation of Rain's thought process and a relaxed transition between Garret's room and the cafe.
Then we'll have the cafe page put back in as page 127 or 128.

I've always had issues with pacing. Mostly because I don't spend enough time on the comic and when i do i get too anxious to get to the next plot point that i rush too often. So I'll try to work on that in the future.

Hey guys. Does anyone remember an old series by Alphachimeara called Birthstar? I was going through my old files and came across a few saved photos that really took me back. I remember when I was starting out in the furry community, before I even had an FA account I followed Alphachimeara on deviantart and I was in love with his series Birthstar. I don't know if it was a comic or written story or just a series of images but I think it was a story of a young prince named Vin who goes on a quest for some purpose and meets an older grizzled bear named Goral who helps him on his quest, and they end up falling in love. Unfortunately I never got around to reading his story/comic but i did read bits and pieces between his uploads. I would very much like to find the complete story.
But it seems like He's deleted his old stuff and now it can't be found anywhere anymore. Does anyone know where I can find it again?

So I have noticed that when ever I host a large auction, only a few people are interested, but the smaller auctions with fewer slots seem to be more popular.
Should I stop doing large auctions?

What kind of auctions are you guys interested in seeing?
Adult?
SFW?
Auctions involving Seattle Fur characters?

I'm not trying to gilt trip at all, or incite pity. I'm just trying to better my work ethic since I'm struggling to make a living off what I'm making.
Let me know. I can really use the feedback.

More and more, recently I've been noticing artists are migrating over to Patreon. They still post on FA, but a lot of the comics seem to be on a subscription service now, where patrons get to see pages weeks earlier then on FA, or high resolution art exclusively to partons.

Is this the standard now? Is every artist on FA gonna move over to Patreon?
I honestly can't see any point in getting a Patreon myself. The whole concept of "Pay up monthly if you want to see my art" just sounds very greedy and corrupt on the surface.

What do you guys think?

So as I'm doing these auction thingies I'm wondering when is the best time to actually end them. Most of you probably have 9-5 jobs and monitoring an auction that ends at noon mustn't be the most convenient.

So what time should I end my auctions? 5pm? 6pm?

I went to check out u18chan for old times sake and apparently everything got whipped out. All the content, art, comics etc.
while I didn't go there too often I wonder if anyone was terribly impacted by it.
Makes you wonder if that sort of thing could happen here...

I can't believe there's actually a sequel to Ghost from the Mystery Skulls. I was just notified of it a few moments ago and honestly I'm FREAKING OUT! I didn't think they would have made a sequel since the first ending seemed kinda final but now it looks like theres gonna be a series on this.

Hey guys i'm happy to announce that Seattle Fur is available on Furplanet. This volume contains the first 2 chapters, The first 13 pages from chapter one have been redrawn for an updated look, i posted pages 1, 2, and 3 in my gallery to show you all what it would look like but the rest is on the Furplanet volume and it has 15 additional pages of exclusive artwork not in my gallery.
If it sells well then we will publish the next three volume (each of which will have extra goodies not found anywhere else) but lets first see how well this goes.
