So this journal will definitely be a work in progress.. There's a few of us that are going to be shelling out the details of yami's and the different groups.


PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: Upon purchasing a Yami you will be invited to a group on skype where we can all keep in touch. There is to be NO drama there. What.So.Ever. If it happens, your yami will be taken back and I'll hold onto them for a while before finding a new owner. Under NO circumstances are you to fight/start and drama with me, ryleneblanetree Or anyone else in the kingdom. I will NOT stand for it. It is to be a family. And if anyone in the family causes any type of 'harm' you will be removed and striped of your Yami. Sorry, not sorry.

There ARE a few rules about them.

-They all have at least 3 eyes.
-There are no herms.
-Yami's are NOT purely sexual based characters. Unless your Yami is mated, I don't want art of your Yami sexing it up with anyone and everyone. They aren't to be seen as overly sexual or purely for sex. Even the apprentices who can be used for sex are not solely for sex. PLEASE. Don't make your Yami seen as a "slut".
-Only certain yami's can reproduce. UNLESS THEY'RE ROYALTY. Royalty can reproduce whenever they choose with caution.
-Only Royalty Yami's have monster forms.
-Each Yami has horns. The Royalty and Hunters have the biggest horns. Some Oracle Artisans can have medium sized horns. Of course the King has the biggest horns. Show of power.
-In the kingdom if there is a wrong doing, The Yami who performs a terrible act will have to sacrifice their tail and job. The tail is then given to the royal family is hopes of repentance.
-The females have a more feline ish face. Males have a more masculine fox like face.

-You NEED to choose which God your Yami will follow. Because the Yami's have three eyes typically, they use a bindi to cover their third eye when they feel like hiding it. The Bindi color represents the God that they follow:
Turquoise or White = God of Life/ Peace/ Dreams.
Black or Red = God of Death/ Destruction/ Nightmares.

The different categories of a Yami-

Royalty: The base family group. They are held high and looked to for guidance. They are all well known and intelligent. They live very luxurious lives. They are members that are either born or married into the family. The females of the Royal group are the only other females [besides the mothers] of the yami's that can give birth. However, Seeing as they aren't of the mother class, They have a far greater chance to pass on during delivery. The king and queen that ruled the land before Cole and Milly had taken this risk twice. Milly and Sofia's mother passed on during the birth of Sofia. The king took this very hard and ended up leaving the land. Which in turn made Milly the queen and when she found her husband, he was the king.

Hunters: This group sticks to the trees. They are almost always out hunting for the kingdom. They gather materials and food. They work alongside the trackers. They're very skilled in fighting and climbing. Some hunters are blessed with a fourth eye in the middle of their chest which they use if a tracker is not around. They can use their eye to hunt down prey or other people they need to come in contact with.

Trackers: Trackers work with the hunters . They have a keen sense of where things are. They have stronger hearing and eyesight to see from far distances. They send their information to the hunters in the trees using a small bird. Each tracker has their own bird.

Workers: Workers keep the kingdom looking nice. They fix broken things around the town. The hunters bring back supplies that the workers can use to build new things or fix old ones. The workers are bigger built and very strong with a very loud personality.

Scribe: The scribes, or historians, keep record of all that goes on in the kingdom. They are the keepers of every document sent to the kingdom, letters signed by the king and queen, and the laws placed in the land. They personally don't like Sofia because she feels she is better fit for their position. And they don't like that. They're very critical and like to think that they do the best. But they aren't cocky.

Mothers: This is the group of women who help supply the kingdom with enough yami's. They are seasonal. They only give birth in the fall/winter. And their gestational period lasts about 2 months. They are bigger built, lots of meat on their bones and very very fluffy. They're very kind and giving. Full of joy. To be part of the Mother group you also must understand that there will be a fee for each child that is produced. [Please understand that I am doing so because I don't want just anyone to own a Yami, They are meant to be held dear to the owner. art or RP is okay BUT YOU CAN NOT GIVE birth without the Fee.]

Apprentices: They are Mothers and Sires who are no longer capable of breeding/making children. So they in the end become 'Pets and Or escorts(for sexual purposes) They can range in age. The longer the tail on the apprentice means the less experience they have the shorter the tail becomes the more experience and rougher they tend to be.

Sires: Just like the mothers there are also a group of men in the kingdom that are used in the breeding process. They are very quiet and obedient, as in the breeding process the mothers are in charge. They are mainly there for breeding and when not doing so they run the local tavern.

Artisans: This group of Yami's is very crafty. It includes Dress makers, bakers, artists etc. They scavenge for things constantly and are typically hoarding little jewels or nic nacs. They're very very intelligent. Some Artisans in this group are oracles as well. They are able to use the fourth eye on their chest as a way to foretell what could happen in the future. Not a direct prophecy but a "might" happen type of thing. The artisans have shorter tails than royalty but longer than hunter/trackers. They love jewelry of all kinds and very free, flowy clothing.

Yami Lore-

The Yamis have two main Gods. Hyza, the God of life, and Sachiko, the God of death. Before the Yami were created the two Gods came together to form a species of their own. They wanted a land and colony to follow them and praise them. Sachiko implemented her third eye and tummy mouths, while Hyza granted them their horns and big long ears. Not long after the Yami were created however, the two Gods fought endlessly about who was in charge and more important. Some Yami's agreed more with Hyza while Sachiko's grasp fell on a few others. To this day there is still a slight division in the kingdom , but it doesn't pull the Yami far apart.
