Anime Weekly Screenings-Anime & Furry Fans(Liverpool,Bootle)
General | Posted 13 years agoHi all just thought i'd throw out an invite to all you Furry's and Anime fans that Sylphie & Rikku run our own anime screening group called LEAF (League of Extraordinary Anime Fans).
We are Based in Bootle on Marsh Lane(which is close to Liverpool) and very close to bus/train links.)
Screening take place every Thursday @ 7pm - 9:30pm and is £2 each to cover costs for the room.
We are age 17+ group. Also we are about 50%/50% Male/Female.
We are an established anime group (6 years) now and at the moment we have 16 members and are always looking for new people to entertain. Some members have been coming for 6years now and some as recent as 6 months.
We are a very friendly and sociable group and guarantee you will make friends here.
About half of our group are Furry's and active within the Furry community.
Each week we show 5 of the newest anime shows (which are voted for at the start of the season) and we watch the seasons in their entirety. We have breaks for socialising and catching up with all our friends.
As a group we attend conventions Anime & Furry (Confuzzled, Ayacon, Kitacon, Expo etc) and go out to cinema, theme parks, meals, and filming short skit movies etc.
So if you are interested in joining us at LEAF or know someone who would please leave a reply to this journal or message and we will get back to you with further details.
Our new season will be starting Thursday 26th July with two weeks of voting for new shows.

General | Posted 13 years agoJust been playing this FREE game SLENDER and seriously play it with headphones on and in a dark room and i guarantee you will be scared. Its a pretty short game BUT trying to finish it is near impossible.
Based on the Slender Man mythology popularized through a Something Awful thread, and further spread through forum chatter, YouTube videos and even Minecraft, the game’s tall, unrelenting creature pursues you through the inky black of a fenced-in forest. Slender doesn’t bother telling you why you’re there or if it’s possible to escape. You’re given a standard video game goal – find eight pages – but the terror unlocked by discovering and collecting the pages obliterates the task’s comforting familiarity.

Right OMG i just read this journal
F'ing Zombie manhunt in my home town Liverpool it looks amazing. I text all my friends just now after 12midnight cause we sooo need to do this. Its set in stages of finding survivors and basically u need to survive being chased / attacked / cornered by stage 3 u go into a quarinteen zone to be checked if u show signs of virus u get rushed away and made up to look like and become a zombie. Seriously we need to do this local peeps. This will be a topic at Manchester furmeet tomorrow.

KITACON KITACON KITACON
General | Posted 13 years agoHey all just wanted to say that myself and alot of friends are going to Kitacon in the morning and are gonna be away until Monday afternoon.
Kitacon is a UK Anime convention at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham and takes place Friday-Sunday and its gonna be EPIC. Lots of cosplaying, fursuiting, and Partying all weekend. Also there are guests attending from the anime industry (voice actors, producers etc) OMG the Voice of GLADOS (Half Life - Portal) is gonna be there too and Chris Patton (Full Metal Panic, Princess TuTu)
I have everything ready to go now and i'm mostly furry for this con as I am taking my Renamon fursuit and my Rainbow Dash fursuit and have two partials to take alsoXD amongst other cosplays.
Be great to see everyone at Kita and i have a fursona badge ordered from Puppy
and a set of puppy ears XD gonna give u BIG huggiez Puppy XD
Also my fiancee is bringing her Pinkie Pie fursuit and her Guilmon fursuit too (it's gonna be so awesome)
So cya all after the weekend i may put some updates up but depends if we have time to XD

MLP FIM - Fursuits COMPLETE - Yay its my Birthday
General | Posted 14 years agoYay Yay we got our fursuits finished at 2am Saturday morning for the MAnchester furmeet that day leaving at 10am. They were our first ever fursuits we have made and i can say i really love the end result and am really happy at how well i think we did.
The MAnchester furmeet was awesome and i got to spend it with all of my LEAF group friends as they came along to celebrate my Pre-birthday there and we got to Showcase our fursuits for the first time and it was epic and we really enjoyed it. I got lotsa pressies from all my friends and lotsa furry hugz and gave poeple lotsa furry hugz. Fankyoo to everyone yoo were all so lovely and kindXD
Had a great birthday upto yet today too got more lovely prezzies from my epic fiancee and a lovely birtday card for my 3rd Birthday with my fursona Sylphie on XD (i will post it in a min)

General | Posted 14 years agoFirst off OMG my wonderful fiancee drew and painted my Fursona last week and she is OMG so super Cute my Sylphie. She also created her own fursona Rikku who is amazing and super cute too. So massive luv and hugz to my wonderful Rikku for these amazing creations.

Got quite abit more progress on the MLP fursuits. Over the last week we managed to get both Hand and Feet Hooves finished off and they are looking pretty sweet with the fur covers. LoL we have been ^-^/)(\^-^ BroHoofing every chance we get XD I can just imagine what we will be like in the full fursuits.
Ooh ooh we finished off our tails too the both look EPIC and bloody hell Rainbow Dashes tail took ages to make and put together, and OMG arrrrgggghhh picking the fur out on the completed tail took FOREVER (Pinkie Pie is watching)-(She really was). So i won't be making any more RD tails anytime soon. We managed to get both RD and Pinkie Pie's tails pretty light weight too.

MLP Progress 2.0 , Manchester Furmeet
General | Posted 14 years agoOva the weekend got some of the head done and hopefully got the shape right, as i need the head to be perfect and this will be the first time making one.
Follow up on MLP in Asda next day after going out at 1am, I went to another local Asda and found them there. LoL i counted 23 in the Box so only one had gone so i picked up the whole Box and bought the lot (i got some quite funny looks in the queue, but hey i don't care lol). After squeezing them in my bag to go to fiancees on motorbike decided they would make a great early Valentines present so I gave the lot to my fiancee and had a great time opening them all. Lucky enough the boxes have one of each pony in so we were only missing 'Lucky Dreams' but found her on eBay:)
Gonna be making the tail and wings through this week and hopefully finish off the head. I'm getting some tips and tricks from a deviant friend 'Refira' who has made some really epic fursuits and posted them on deviant (so go check her page out)
Will be going to Manchester furmeet with fiancee and a few friends on Sat 11th Feb so hopefully have my Rainbow Dash tail ready to wear it to the meet:)

MLP FIM - Fursuits Progress
General | Posted 14 years agoJust an update on our progress bodysuit has been sewn together now just needs some adjustments. Been making hooves (Feet & Hands) All this week as well as the digitigrade padding for the legs. Took ages to shape feet hooves and ended up doing it a diff way in the end lol. Hopefully ova the weekend will get some of the head done, which i am not looking forward too as i need the head to be perfect and this will be the first time making one.
On a side note i was on Equestria Daily and found out that in Asda UK (shop) they were getting stock of MLP FIM blidbag figures and i ran around at 1:00am to see if my local Asda had any but unfortunatly nope:(

My Little Pony - Fursuits

I'm gonna be making Rainbow Dash and my gorgeous fiancee 'KyoukaKami' is gonna be making Pinkie Pie XD 'Squeee' XD
I cant wait to see them finished and parade them at Kitacon.
Both costumes are inspired by two fabulousmax artists Sophiecabra & Temperance (thankyou both)
So hopefully have some more pics up soon lol
