I'm starting a contest to win a free leather collar made by yours truly. I am moving soon and want to break in my new studio space with something really fun, and collars are one of my favorite things to make. I also think it is very rewarding to make something for free for someone, and I can afford to do so at this time which makes me happy.

So i'm back from NC and my latest class at the folk school. This time I took a Beginning Jewelry class and it was spectacular. I met some amazing people, learned so many new things, and created some pieces i'm really proud of. I honestly have to say, anyone who can should take at least one class at the John C. Campbell Folk School at least once in their life. From the first day I got there, that place became like home to me. It is just such a wonderful creative environment and also a loving community.

Anyways, enough rambling about that. Since getting back i've dealt with a whole lot of issues that messed me up a bit, but i'm slowly sorting things out and adjusting. In between all of that I haven't really tried to make anything new, aside from working on commissioned pieces. That will hopefully change in the next few days though. With any luck I may have some new things to put in my etsy shop and post pictures of soon.

I'm going to be uploading some badges I have done over the past couple days. I'm thinking about offering badge commissions for $10 each, plus shipping, for laminated head or bust badges. Would anyone be interested in this?

As I continue to make more custom work, as well as developing some standard designs, its about time I have a tentative price list posted. For the moment this will have base prices for some of my items, and the prices of some of the standard items I can produce a number of. As I come up with new designs I will update this, and it may change as I refine my methods of leatherwork and have different material costs.

These are the base prices for these items, adding gems, add-ons, fancy linings, extra colors or carving for the masks, and so on, will up the price.

Cuffs - $45+
Single Strap Collars - $35+
Double Strap Collars - $45+
Blindfolds - $40+

Wolf mask - $75+
Fox mask - $70+
Simple dragon mask - $40+
Cat mask - $55+
Griffin mask - $75+
Other mask prices will vary based on the complexity and size of design, get in touch with me for a quote.

I've had a lot of questions about collars, particularly about what options I offer. Here is a list of what I have on hand or am able to get. If you are interested in a custom design that I don't offer, feel free to ask me if I can do it and I will work with you to make whatever you would like.

Firstly, I offer single and double strap collars. Single strap collars are an inch wide, and double strap are an inch and a quarter, with the strap on top being an inch. If you want something wider or thinner I can easily do that, but it may take a little longer because I will have to order buckles of different sizes.

For fastening collars I offer silver metal buckles, silver locking metal buckles, and silver snaps. I can also get metal buckles in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, and black.

For hardware, I offer D-rings in all the same colors I can get buckles in.

For color of the actual leather, I am working on different techniques of dying and painting leather, so let me know what you are interested in and I will see what I can do.
If you want an acrylic painted collar, I can do any color you can dream up. These collars with have a shiny finish and be sealed for added durability. They will be very water resistant, but a little stiffer then a dyed leather collar.
If you want a dyed leather collar, get in touch with me about colors. I should be able to do basics like black, brown, blue, green, purple, pink, red, yellow, and so on. If you are looking for a particular shade of a certain color, get in touch with me and I may be able to custom order it.

As far as embellishments go, I have a whole lot of options. I have small spikes and can order large ones as well.
I have gems in small, medium, and large.
Large and medium gems I have in black, red, blue, green, pink, purple, white pearl, blue pearl, pink pearl, red pearl, green pearl, purple pearl, silver glitter, blue glitter, pinkish orange glitter, green glitter, red glitter, and purple glitter. Pictures coming soon.

I'll be going to anthrocon for the first time this year! I'm very excited!

I'll be wandering around wearing my fairy wolf mask most likely, so say hi if you see me ^.^ I love meeting new people, so this should be a lot of fun. I'm thinking I need to find my corset that matches my mask, because I didn't have time to make a leather one to go with it. I am hoping to start making leather corsets soon though.
