I'd like to actually read what some people have to say, but between all the advertisements, the Notices that they're Streaming, and all sorts of junk, I just end up trashing it all.

Recent Goings on: Games, Life, and More
Posted 15 years agoSo, I've not done ANYthing with my FA page in like, Months.
Well, I recently acquired Two new games. One of them Being Pokemon HeartGold (OMG LOOOOOVE) and the other Being The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon (Was okay...but it left me wanting more)
My short Rundown of the Spyro game: Replay value is very lacking, and By god Cynder needs to stop getting new Voice actors. It's hard to keep the Character's Integrity when you have 3 different people giving different versions of her. And it just so happens that the most recent one was okay, until it decided to totally undersell a Scene that could have easily made me and my sappy self cry (not so) manly tears. Then I just couldn't stand it anymore -_-
The Story itself was half-decent. Unfortunately, the game itself isn't much impressive, so the Story ultimately becomes the bigger draw to the game, and when the biggest draw is "half-decent...."
The game was fine I suppose....It's just not worth the actual retail price. But I hear there's a movie being made for the Series, which has my momentary interest, so I'll be keeping my ears out for any changes.
As for HeartGold,well, I could say something, but my Pokefaggotry has been revived after years of Inactivity from playing Pokemon Platinum, so anything I say about this game would be gushing. All I can say about this game is This: <3
So I got a Job at an Inventory Service a while back, and it's been interesting so far. No 9-5 drudgery, and every day it's a new Locale. It keeps me on my toes, and there's never a moment where I'm not doing SOMETHING unless it's break or the Job is done. And my ADHD Brain loves it that way, because let me tell you, Grocery store-ish jobs where Work can never be found for almost hours at a time, Idle hands make for mischief.
I've also found that one of my Co-Workers has a practical MASTERPIECE of a Vintage Game collection, and he has recently enlightened me to the existence of many games I never knew existed. And that's only after visiting his house Once, can't wait to do it again sometime.
It seems my WoW drive has been slowing down of Late. I can't seem to make my Raid and Work days line up right after my previous raiding Guild exploded from internal Drama with the Co-Guild Masters. Not only that, but it seems that many of my Old Guildmates may or may not have had "past issues with me" (I learned this when Applying to another Guild where many of them flocked too after the Other Guild Exploded) Either way, I can't say I'm Wholly impressed, because either someone wasn't upfront with me in the past, or they were just a bunch of Dicks all along.
Either way, I have a new WoW home, but it's been rough. Lack of Raiding has put me in Raid withdrawal. Only so many times I can Get Frost Badges just from Dailies after having tasted the glorious Frost Badge rate of ICC 10 and ICC 25 within the same week before I start to feel the staleness set in.
Either way, I'm with some other Former Guild mates, so the Game has been fun at least, if not wholly satisfying at this point in time
...This probably should have gone under the game session, but oh well.

Posted 16 years agoIt seems my parents hate me being on the computer. Sure, they would object and come up with a bunch of excuses to refute that statement, but considering the reasons so far:
1) "It makes me difficult to get up in the Morning"
They have no objections to me reading till 2 am strangely enough)
2) It OVERSTIMULATES MY BRAIN
related to the first, and once again, no objections to 2 am reading)
3) "It interferes with Schoolwork."
Okay, I can accept this.But I've been done school for well over several weeks now.
4) "You don't do anything else/There's more to life than the computer/you need to do other things"
Fuck you. I don't tell you how to spend your free time. Don't tell me how to spend mine.
5) "We work so hard and you just laze around"
Okay, you know what? I don't give a rats ass. I would give one if you Didn't bitch about this a thousand times already. I'm sick of your self-righteous sense of work ethic and sickeningly overbearing Catholic Guilt. It's not MY fault I have an assload of time on my hands, and I'm sick of you acting like it is and punishing me for it.
For fucks sake, if you can't plain admit that the reason you take away my keyboard is just because you have a form of penis envy, then at least come up with a reason you can stick to without switching from whenever excuse seems the most plausible.

Rainer's name came partially from Mount Rainier in Washington, and the other half came from my own Phonetical Boredom.
What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
He is a winged Lion-He is such because when I first made him back in grade four, he was essentially a rip-off of Keroberos-one of my favourite characters at the time.
What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc
Hair/Fur: Golden colour. He's a lion :p

He's a stoic observer, not the kind to get personally involved if it doesn't concern him. However, sometimes he gets the impulse to play councilor-which sometimes gets him into a bit of trouble. Other than that, he's much like myself in my mannerisms.

Not really sure if I can answer this...I don't know many people who wear suits of armour or carry swords IRL. :p

Posted 18 years ago...or at least it will be come Nov. 12th in my house. New flooring everywhere so I'll need to help my mom move some stuff and chances are everything connected to the floor will have to move out to the garage-my computer included. I probably won;t be able to get internet access while this whole thing is going on, so I'll be gone a while. Not that I do much with my FA account anyways :p (yet-I plan to write short stories in the near future)

The reason I've never really learned how is probably due to my own paranoia when it comes to other drivers. Alberta is probably home to some of the worst drivers in the world. I mean, who the hell in their right mind goes 160km/h down a street in the fog with no headlights? I kid you not, that seriously happened, and the guy hit another vehicle head-on and they both died instantly.
Upon hearing that bit of news, Ive kinda put learning to drive on my to-do list. There's only so much you can learn before someone else's stupidity comes in as a factor.

Posted 18 years agoYep. No more just keeping track of all the artists I love and admire. I decided to host some of my own creations, crude as they may be. I have a most irritating predicament: I have lots of ideas and images in my head, but lack any coherent ability to project them. It's a maddening thing to have really, and I can't help but envy some of these talented artists who have that ability, even though I have strengths of my own.
