first off, for the most part, roo is back to being a kangaroo. i am more upright than before, but that should change with time.
Secon, I got a new job, well its more of an apprenticeship/mentoring position. I'm moving into becomming a booking agent professionally. I had some issues rolling into an industry with no name, no background and just the ability to call and network with people which didnt get me that far. I am going to actually learn the ropes and get trained to handle booking for several label signed musicians and with all hopes, it should go well!

General | Posted 16 years agoI was helping 2 clear out the garage for the new studio and ended up wrenchng my back pretty badly.
I had to take an ambulance to the hospital due to the severity of pain I was unable to get off the floor even wtiht help.
today I am feeling better, stuck in a wheelchair for now though. 2 has been taking car of me, making sure I dont mess m back up alot worse.
miss everyone.
i need to get a new job asap. hope ths doesn keep me down for lng.

they have me on hydrocodone, and a muscle relaxer.

Shes got spots filling up fast and truely she is a bat of great talent. I give her many tails up and some paws and toes and some fingers of many good values.
She is responsible for the picture of me under 2's wing. that was all done by hand and when I got the piece my jaw hit the floor. Seriously, this girl is someone who knows what she is doing and will one day be one of the top rung in artist in the fandom, once she gets discovered that is.

I have recieved things from her and I am absolutely pleased with the results, infact I shall even add a spoon to her rating.... so six cubes a spoon... and a spork... also some duct tape... and some zippy ties... and a pair of dancing pants.
The best rating I can give is 8 cubes... I eat the other two and to get an 8 is next to impossible. Even Herbie couldnt get an 8 =)infact.... if god himself came down and proved himself to exist, created a real life furry toon for me to play with, gave me a blowjob and then finished me off with a lawn dart on the prostate... and did the same to my mom... he might break an 8. only if the art was cute enough...

I am gathering up furs to take flowers to 2. pictures, real ones, seeds... any type of flowers. I cant be at Rainfurrest myself sadly.
The idea is to recruit as much of the con as possible to run up to 2 and give him flowers or pictures of them and say "this is from roo" all the while I will be doing the same thing by phone while I am out in the field.
2 loves flowers and it makes him smile sooo I am hoping I can get enough people to gather enough people to do this for me =)
I didnt want to post until he was gone and well, not reading my journals =)

Rainfurrest is comming up next week. I am gathering troops to do something for my bird (is 2 gryphon) and thats what the mystery is about. its something I really want to do.
So if you want to help me do something special for him (and to him) please PM me if you or anyone you know is going.
This really means alot to me and its a great little mission for anyone who wants to be a kangaroo minion.
this is mega important to me and I need as many people to hop on board as possible.
It wont cost anything, theres no freebees for roo involved, its just a simple task that will take you only a few moments to accomplish =)
whos up for it that isnt already in on it.

General | Posted 16 years agoI've poked at a few memes when I was bored but my favorites are the "tell people about you" meme.
without the confines of rules I'm gunna just post some stuff about this roo ^^
1. I was born in Detroit Michigan, raised in Florida during my developmental years (2-5 or 6 I think) then moved back to michigan where I spent the rest of my childhood.
My fondest memories are from florida. I lived in a small town called Hastings as well as a smaller rural area called fruitland (heee) where we had a trailer home single wide, no running water, 10 acres of land and a horse. We did have electricity though. but I never watched TV because we couldnt afford to own one. My family scrimped and saved to get a computer. The Commodore 64. I remember my uncle teaching me what computer language was, how it worked and how to write my own games by the time I was 6.
2. I was a storm chaser, though not professional, I'd spend summers in the midwest chasing tornados or being chased by them depending on the storm. I paid for my gas and lodging by working odd jobs here and there and selling my pictures to NG and anyone else that would buy them. generally they would drop 5-10 bucks a pic.
I destroyed alot of cars which is partially why I have such a long list of cars I have owned.
3. If my car had not broken down on my court date, my real name would be Miles Allen Prower today. I've always loved the name Miles, and tails was like a foxy version of me. He was quiet and playful at the same time, an inventer and always cared about his friends and would do anything for them.
4. While my character is a metal loving kangaroo, there is alot of music that I appreciate. Celtic, classical, classic rock, rap, country, motown, bigband and swing... really anything ... I mainly enjoy rock and country music with blues and folk taking care of my top 4 styles. =) I love Stevie Ray Vaughn and Janis Joplin.
5. My family actually has a history in music. My grandparents on both sides released albums in country and bluegrass styling back in the 50's and 60's... what kind of hurts though is I dont know what thier bands were called. My grandpa Tom Jones used to be involved with CCC youth corps where he met Pete Seeger whom he befriended for many years. My grandpa branton spent alot of time traveling across country playing shows until his passing in 1984 (?) or 81 I was very young. My uncle was in a moderately successful band called "The Labels" mainly an opener band for musicians that would play in SE lower michigan and they played in alot of places in the midwest as well. Its my uncles fault that Ted Nugent does not like me ;) though Iw as able to hear some interesting stories about my uncle when I bumped into him during the Pirates of the Caribean 2 premier at disneyland. I got written up 3 times that night because that man does like to talk.
6. There is so much in life that I enjoy that I often drive people crazy when they meet me and try to get to know the things that I like. Really I have favorite things to do, but I'll always try new things, and even things I dont like will be tried often to see if my tastes have changed. Really there are few things I have run into that I dont enjoy or appreciate to some capacity.
7. I have a higher level of intelligence than I let on. ;) This is something that takes a loooong time to learn about me, why I've made certain decisions in life and what it means when I say "my life is my own experiment in psychology and education" Its not saying I am unique, my life and my path in life is one big theory that started when I was 14. On my death bed I will publish a book on my findings.
8. My weakness in life is description. This makes number 7 a hard task to undertake and I really wish I had known that throughout my development I'd get handed a great hand in the card game that is life, but I'd always be missing the winning card. It can be frustraiting to go through life comprehending far more about life than you can describe. Many times it comes out in incoharant jibberish and poor analogies.
9. My eyes used to change color frequantly. The only reason I know this ... I used to be in a deep relationship with a girl whos father was an eye doctor. He noticed that my eyes would be green one day, brown the next then blue another day. be brought me in for an eye exam and got to watch my eyes change from green to brown rather quickly, the process took less than a minute. I've even had times when the top half of my eye will be a nice deep brown and the bottom half will be a deep blueish green. I've never really invested much thought into why it is or if its some strange medical condition, but you can look at my eyes and nearly every time they will be diffrent. It used to happen alot when I was around pouch, he'd make it a point to check my eyes several times a day to see what would come up. I can tell you what color my eyes were during what events were happening between me and him.
10. I have a memory problem. I always ahve. I will forget a face, a person, a movie, what I did 10 minutes ago or what I was supposed to do, but at the same time I will remember the emotions I had toward that particular event. while I dont think this is strange or unique, its something I feel bad about often. People will meet me and I will forget who they are.

*giggles* roo is bored, and in a mood and wondering if anyone would actually do this!
Deadline is one week. applicants should submit sooner to give ample time for spoon concideration as well as spoon use.
*sporks are acceptable, bonus for doing spork spacific things.

Ok, my birds birthday is coming up very soon and roo is looking for some ideas and 2 is going to be in michigan for his birthday and sadly it looks like without a roo *whimpers softly and curses work* and to top things off, I am very poor. it would be our first birthday together so I need to come up with something very special. Hes going to be up here for my birthday *roo swoons all in love* and I have some ideas when he gets up here, but I'd like to do something before he gets here.
anyone out there smack some ideas into roos dusty brain?

I had a trip out to Lake Tahoe!
General | Posted 16 years agoI went off to south lake tahoe this weekend with my roomate. This was a memory trip for his dog Snowy who was diagnosed with inoperable cancer and she has been give a month to live. Unfortunately her time is very short so he wanted to take her back to a place where she was very happy. He also invited me along for support. I got a chance to see both of thier stomping grounds and hear alot of stories.
I was even able to experience a sunset over the Tahoe Mountain ridge which was absolutely beautiful. I've taken some pictures and posted them, I think all of them would make great desktop images. The picture of Waggs and Snowy with the sun in the background is going to be for him to use as a memory.
I posted a few of the pics I am most proud of.
If you know :Waggs: please drop him a few kind words. Hes an absolutely amazing guy and is really going to need people to be there when she passes

6) I started out in the public fandom in a sonic the hedgehog based chat (psycho sonic chat) as a hedgehog..

8) At one point I was 280lbs with a size 46 (which was tight) waist. Currently I hover between 165-175 with a 30-32 inch waist. Only took me 2 years to do!
