Anyone have any recent and/or childhood stories of something spooky that happened to them? I'm not talking about near death experiences! I'm talking about something that happened to you that was frightening at the time, but when you think back on it, it's was actually pretty hilarious.

I can't think of any that happened to me right now, but one funny story that a friend told me.

When she was a little girl, she and her family were in the den watching "The Chucky Movie" better known as Child's Play. When the movie was over, one of her pull-string dolls decided at THAT MOMENT to make a noise. It didn't fall over on its on, no one bumped against it, no one was EVEN near the corner. She told me her dad grabbed it and took out in the backyard, then about 15 seconds later, she and her sister heard a gunshot. XD

I'm wearing them as I type and they're wiggling like crazy right now. I think it's trying to get used to my brain waves or something.

I'm trying to "mind train" with them. Right now, I'm relaxed but the ears are slightly perked up. And when I turn at every loud explosion at the TV, they don't jolt up as fast.

I wanna go out with them but I promised myself I'd wait for Halloween. It's like a big thing for me because I haven't did anything on Halloween in YEARS. Even when I mentioned it to my mom, she didn't say a word. And I don't want dramatic furs to get on me like they did on that poor girl on "My Strange Addictions".

Any one know a site or anyone free to tutor this slow caixen into making spirtes or any sprite artists around that aren't too busy and/or don't have a lot of time on their hands?

Taking baby steps with the game creating using a game software called 001 Game Creator. The program gives sprites but. . .okay I'll be blunt: they're not so good.

I tried to do sprites myself but drawing isn't really my department. If this was a 3D program, it'd be a different story. I get confused between importing and exporting and when I click Graphic Options, they're so many buttons and check boxes to click and numbers to fill in that it makes my head spin @_@ I can make floor tiling pretty well though...

...so yeah, I'm done prattling but I'm serious on starting this project. So if anyone wanna help or throw a word of advice, send me a note, e-mail, IM, whatever. And if you can't help, could you at least spread the word?

I'm trying to widen my character profiles a bit instead of having them relate to me so much, like having them love foods that I despise or do things they enjoy that I think would be a waste of time and such.

This is for a story idea. One of my characters gets what looks like lifetime supply of ramen in a variety of flavors and I was wondering what many ways you make it. I mean the ones who do more than just add water, let it cook, add the seasoning then go to town on it.

I'm trying to experiment with many different ramen flavors but I can't stray away from the beef and chicken flavored ramen (I hate the shrimp flavor though I LOVE seafood) and I just add a soft-boiled egg and sprinkle a little parsley flakes.

Any one else wanna share their ramen secrets with me? Please share with to satiate my curiousity...and my hunger for the next time I make ramen.

I wanted to go to school to be a video game designer. I know, you don't see any art that I've drawn on here but I thought all that could change if I went to school. Sadly though, there are no schools where I live that teach that. There are beginners' classes that get you used to the type of programs you would be using when you go further, you know what to do. But after that, that's it. You'd have to pack up and go either to Florida or California or New York to future your education.

Unfortunately in my case, it's not that simple. At first, it was because of transportation problems. I gotta a piece of crap car that I thought my dad would take care of since he's so scared of me going to the local car repair shops to be ripped off but lately as he sees more independent I get, the more he puts off looking at my car and now it's just sitting in the driveway rotting probably infested with bugs and squirrels by now.

And of course, there's also financial issues. I thought with the way my job was going, I could save up and have enough to get a used car and enough money for myself to either Florida to Full Sail University or even to Minnesota to move in with my adopted brother,  tozi , and a attend a tech school there. But lately, my job has been stingy; I've been cut back so many times and instead of making $300 every two weeks, I went down to $200 and sometimes even a $100 or less.

With each year going by, I feel my dreams slowly fading away. I hear of people on here, on Skype, outside of the Internet, getting good jobs or jobs they dreamed of, going to school, graduating, their parents sending them on trips. It's horrible to say I hate hearing the luck or blessings they have but it's how I feel.

I thought my writings would at least help me make a little cash on the side but it's not simply just write, edit, and publish. My writing mentor always nagged at me to writing something non-fiction and that's an area I really don't wanna touch. But my ever thinking, always wondering brain concocted something so I'm planning on writing my thoughts on my interests, including furries. I know how butthurt it is to everyone in the furry community so I give a heart felt promise that I'll be careful with this area.

Until then, I'll be playing around in this game making program called 001 Game Creator. I probably don't deserve help or another chance after typing my ranting, "no excuses"...rant above but if anyone experience in 2D game programming or sprite making could give me advice or links to tutorials, I would be grateful...

For the first one, I'm doing a playthrough of Little King's Story

I've been working on this playthrough ALL DAY, mostly because my computer and the Hauppauge video editor aren't getting along. After finding out how to extend videos on YouTube for longplays, I thought it would be easy for me to do parts that lasted for over an hour or longer but it just put more stress on my computer. My computer turned itself off TWICE from overheating while the video editor was converting the video into a file. I had to turn the fan and AC on full blast to keep my computer cool enough to finish the conversion. Though it didn't speed up the loading progress, I waited patiently for hours it to finish.

Made four videos (an intro and three parts of gameplay) but I was only able to upload to two parts of what I played. More will be coming along soon! I might get nostalgic and play something from Wii Download and one of my Gamecube games. The ones on my mind are Starfox Adventures (and maybe Starfox Assault), Ratchet: Deadlocked, Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge, Paper Mario and I'm planning a special edition of Revenge of Meta-Knight.

It's almost 6:30 A.M. where I am and I haven't been to sleep so, *collapses in her mamasan, snuggling her T-Bone and Razor plushie* z z z z z z z z

I've been in a writing rut. I haven't felt like writing anything lately. I dunno if it's because I'm just being lazy or . . . *gulp*. . .I feel like I'm losing my touch for writing. Not saying I wanna quit; the thoughts and ideas are still there (and I need practice writing these thoughts down on the many notepads that I carry around with me). I dunno, maybe I need more inspiration to get me going. I did get a little jump watching the news hearing The Hunger Games is #1 read over Fifty Shades of Grey; I've never read either books but it did restore my hope into believing that you don't have to write porn to make a popular book. Don't get me wrong! I don't want any angry furries on my ass. I love my porn as much as the next fur, but it is depressing and it makes me angry and I feel like I'm being overlooked because someone's writing a detailed, tantalizing erotic chapter. I did finish a chapter of a story. All I need to do is edit it. Any advice of how to get my writing juices going would be appreciated.

In other, less ranting news, I'm planning on doing video game playthroughs. I've gotta PVR. Still need to fiddle around with it a bit more to see what's what and what's not. I'm so used to the Dazzle and so I'm still just dipping my feet in this Hauppauge PVR. I'm still thinking of a title for my YouTube page. I won't be doing any commentary so you won't have to worry about my annoying, squeaky voice. I may add annotations...might make TWO videos. One with and one without annotations.

I just don't get it. If you gotta go, just slam the damn seat down and squat! And for germaphobes, take one or two squares of toilet tissue to put the seat down. You must not have to go badly if you have time to give your man a 5 minute lecture about why the toilet seat should be down after he gets done taking a piss!

I'm kinda jealous of some of you going out to party. My family hasn't been as festive around holidays. Thought my Dad was gonna BBQ (he's got ribs, chicken, and sausages STUFFED in the freezer) but it turns out he has to work >.o Think I'll just spend the night eating either Burger King or order Chinese take-out, make s'mores, and listen to neighbors pop off fireworks in the street...at least, I HOPE those are fireworks. o.o

I had an interesting dream last night thanks to Nyquil. It involved me getting fired from my job in the mall (btw, I don't work in a mall) then sulking home, a guy who reminded me of a stout, mustachioed Italian mouse drives up beside me in a taxi and invites me on a trip, then we stopped to play a game of baseball (I'm a football person myself) in a waist-deep pond where the score was taken by a family of ducks...*looks at the bottle of Nyquil* I might need to take another dose of this tonight.

Anyone following me for writing, I'm a bit out of it and half focused on something on. I'm in the midst of writing Chapter 2 of "Hybrid" (not posted on FA) and at the same time, I sparked a video game idea. Since I can't draw worth spit and I don't have any software to practice 3D modeling (laptop can't support it otherwise), all I can do is write it all down, from beginning to end, until the day I can make it in the video game industry...which would be like what, 1 trillion to one chance?

Anyway, that's my wish welling and ranting *pops a BBQ rib in your mouth* Enjoy your day.

I have to say, I'm at the WORST stage of my period right now and reading this made my entire day.

This happened about two weeks ago. Was taking a shower when I felt a tickling itch on my elbow. I brushed my arm thinking it was water taking to long to go down until I looked down...and saw a spider creeping along the floor of the tub.

For those of you who don't really know me, I'm arachnophobia. I hate spiders! Hate 'em hate 'em hate 'em with a burning passion! Yes, yes I know. You arachno-fanatics are gonna lecture me about how they're helpful because they get rid of household pest in stuff but with me, they need to do that outside or in the walls or somewhere where I can't see them. Otherwise, I gotta special can of yellow Raid for them. Anyway, back to the perverted spider in the tub.

As soon as I saw it creeping around on the bath mat, I didn't even think. I ran out and did all this:

1.)tore down the shower curtain AND shower rod out of place
2.) hit my foot against the toilet
3.) hit my head against the door...or doorway and
4.) I slipped on the linoleum floor on my back
And I think I did all that in under 10 seconds o.o

I crawled out the bathroom scared to death. I didn't feel any pain from hitting my foot and head or from the fall, probably 'cause of adrenaline. After hearing all that commotion, my mom comes running upstairs with a 2x4 thinking someone done crawled in through my window and was trying to rob me. When I told her that was me because of a spider, she fussed at me saying how she almost called 911 and such. I just took the wooden plank from her to take care of the spider while she went back downstairs fussing.

And for any detailed writers out there who make outlines, storyboards, character profiles and the like before they start writing the story. What else is used other feet and inches and pounds? Some others use centimeters, right? Or is it meters? And is it kilograms for the weight?

I wish to say Happy Mother's Day to those with moms, who are moms, or about to be moms. May your days be filled with flowers, cards, candy, shopping, mani/pedis (or however you spell it), and love.

And...this next part I don't know how to say correctly and I'm probably going to mess it up somehow, but I'm not meaning to bring up anything or hurt any feelings...for those who've lost mothers, I give my condolences. I never did think of how hurtful Mother's Day could be to some people until I had 3 friends lose theirs; an FA member I know, another fur (dunno if he has an FA page or not), and a co-worker. Like my co-worker said, "Your mother is your heart. Love her with your all."...well, I don't remember ALL she said but that first part of the sentence she did say, so the last part would make sense too...

For those of you who read my journal in the December with me emo-ranting on how my mother said she didn't love me. Well I confronted her about that in March in a fit of rage of what made me hate her for all these years...she never did shout back, she never tried to guilt me or turn the whole thing around. She listened to every word I said until I got done and flopped in my chair not knowing what else to say. She just hugged me and said how sorry she was and if she could take what she said back, she could. I...didn't hug back immediately. I didn't want to, even after she gave that heartfelt apology. I just sat there as she hugged my head (and nearly suffocated me in her thick bathrobe), but I did return the hug and break down. She thanked me and prayed...and after that, I was sick for the rest of the day

I eventually calmed down and realized how stupid I was to waste all these years on this lady who did want to give me life. I don't know if you want to call it a healing process because I feel like I still got a long way to go...

And for the millionth time, it's NOT about a deer! :p Fawn, also known as "Bambi Eyes" or "Fawn Lee", lives in fictional Lyrua, Georgia (U.S., not the country) that has been turned into a dystopia thanks to Great Depression II and a meteorite crash, not to mention that what's left of her city and the entire world has been taken over by aliens called "Hellents". While 50% of the population think these aliens are pacifists and a miracle to them, the other 50% think they can't be trusted and that they're plotting something sinister behind their 'peaceful ways'.

My mom was being all mushy and going through old pictures of me when was 2 or 3 years old during my first Easter egg hunt. Made this at 4-5 in the morning. I'm no DJ but that "Swallow" sound (what you hear at the beginning and all throughout the song) was stuck in my head after I listened to it in the demo and I just made this as I went. So to all you professional music makers out there, I apologize if this sounds like a pile of bird droppings to you.

I've come up with TWO new fan-fics ideas. . .well, they've been around but either I forget about it or I don't have enough time to do them and so I toss the ideas. But when I play/watch where the idea come from, it comes rushing back at full force and crashes at the front of my brain screaming "WRITE THIS NAO!"

I don't have a title yet but it's based off the multiplayer war game from Conker: Live and Reloaded, where you play as either a Squirrel from the SHC (Squirrel High Command, I think) or an evil Tedi of a certain class and kick the crap out of each other. I haven't decided whether to set it during the first Tediz War or to start a Tediz War II. I have three characters; a professional Sneeker (based off the one you play in the game) whose part of a squadron while training two rookie Sneekers (one's a male). A co-writer(s) with military mindset, either real life or fictional, is a must!

I haven't played the 360 game but the two from Sega Genesis are still fresh in my mind and I do play them on my Wii from time to time. I'm writing this one like a screenplay because, for some strange reason, I'm picturing this fic like "found-footage movies" like Cloverfield or Project X...and at the same time I'm picturing if this WAS a movie, it'd be one of those "It'd seem like a good idea at the time" and then once it's in theaters, it bombs. Looking for a co-writer whose familiar with the games and who likes to take risk x3

Yes, it's another completely different story from yours truly. For those of you saying "Is this girl EVER going to finish the REST of her stories???". The answer is "Yes!". After completing a chapter of one story, I get to work on a chapter of a different story. I wish I could sit down with writers, whether if they wrote one book, several different books, or a novel series, and ask them who they can finish one whole book in one sitting but until then, this is just the way I work. If I had a quarter for every new idea I had, I'd be a frikkin' millionaire.

The story's called Majoumyaku! I've been giving the story sypnosis over and over again so if you wanna read it, look over to your left and it's the first one under my Latest Submissions. Okay, now warnings. I'm a tell you right now. You're might as well press the back button if you're expecting male on female, male on male, or female on female or herms or dicks being shoved into pussies, assholes, or mouth or any of that in that order or expecting pussies assholes to be stuffed with dicks, vibrators, toys, or anything else to be extent or any other fetish. There will be some detailed or hint of rape in upcoming chapters so if you like that, stay tuned for more chapters. There will be furry characters, major and minor, but most of the cast of characters will be human or aliens.

And for anyone that likes cars, building their own cars, racing, and/or explosions, this might be a story for you. And if you read my journal for this long, I would love some help, advice, or suggestions from car enthusiasts and sci-fi geeks so I won't be that "bitch who dosen't have any fucking clue what she's writing about".

I shared this story with a friend to cheer him up and I thought I'd share it with everyone else.

I was either in 2nd or 3rd grade when fell in love with this new kid that came into our school from out of the blue. He had this African accent that I fell in love with (something about accents turn me on; I can't explain it x.x). It was a one-sided love though; I fawned over him but he didn't seem to care for me much. I even invited him to (I think) my 8th birthday party but he walked home before the party was over, again I didn't care.

It was either he or his friends told me that he hated me...not that he didn't like or love me back, he HATED me...that was when I understood why my parents told me NOT to tell someone that because it messed me up. I'm still messed up so I apologize to those who are trying to pull me into a relationship with them (they know who they are). Even if they do the most despicable thing, don't ever tell anyone you hate them. Those three words will stick with them and stay with them to their grave, even those that seem like they've forgotten the whole thing; something usually triggers those words to echo in their minds again.

Now years have passed walking with a taped up heart. In my 20s now. I go to Wal-Mart to buy stuff and I saw him again! He works there as a restocker or stacker (whatever) I guess and he has turned....

...into the ugliest motherfucker I have ever seen o.o Even if things did work out somehow and we started dating, I wouldn't have been able to recognize him. I would've been calling my dad and the police, "THERE'S A STRANGE MAN IN MY HOUSE! He said he's my boyfriend but he looks nothing like him!"

But yeah, after seeing him now, I'm glad we didn't become school lovers. Dodged a bullet!
