So what's new you are totally not asking?!

well i broke up with my gf of 10 months because reasons. we are still pals, she still holds a candle that i will come back to her (i wont) and i hope that in time she moves on and finds someone she better deserves. i also hope that for myself. i just knew that we did not deserve each other. take that any way you want to.

i will be starting a new career path (again) this fall. whilst retaining my nursing license, i now plan to go into education to become an educator and at present my goal is early childhood education. i would prefer gradeschool to preschool. thanks to all my previous college i was able to shave an entire year and 1/2 off my curriculum, as well as exempting myself from any foreign language AND any science labs! many changes and challenges are in store for me in the years to come. will i prove worthy of them?

my sex drive as of late has proven destructive for me. so it is perhaps for the best, though i type this with a heavy heart, that i think i blew my only chance to bone this chick i used to work with. i wish i could control my sanity when i get under these spells of lust rather than having it just fly out the window. Curse the call of my unborn sons, for their choices color all I've done!

anywho, i felt like updating since it's been a while and will be a while still before i write another journal.

Another year on FA means another birthday! I'm happy cause i'm in talks with an artist to get something made for me and i just know it's gonna turn out fab. As i've gotten older i realize i ask for less and less because i tend to get myself things throughout the year with my own money and when it comes time for gift giving holidays i'm always short on ideas or asking for things that are way low priority or even worse still are too expensive to really be worth buying so i can't really ask for them either.

Still, i'm grateful to be turning 29 and having new opportunities on the horizon. i have a good bit to be thankful for, really, even if i seem to forget that pretty often. it's that hierarchy of needs, i suppose. once i meet one need i become needy(greedy?) for the next up the list.

This site has grown on me, and while i will likely never identify as a furry or have a fursona, i can easily find myself seduced often by the lovely 'ords and 'ords of pervy sexy stuff here! it makes my daily visits really worth while. i'm not the most active of members and definitely am no contributor but still, it's a nice private get away to a realm where i can really open up about my most private of fantasies. with an animal twist LOL

Anyways, this year imma post my bday list, just for shits and giggles. here we go!

7. a Slowbro (pokemon) shirt where Slowbro is dressed like a "bro" with popped collar shirt and backwards hat
8. the new (ish, 2013) Eldar codex for WH40K. it's hardcover and full color unlike my 2006 book. i do not play the table top game, just love the lore. same for fantasy wh, like, for example, i have a Dwarf book from GW that is like 1000 pages, and i read it in a matter of weeks cause i love the fiction.
9. the Cowboy Bebop series box set
10. kung fu 70s/80s films. 2 actually! Ten Tigers, and drunken master.

It's my birthday!

For no adequately explained reason. Been dating a year, too. I asked what I could do to improve my performance for the next individual that I romance, and was told "nothing". If I did everything right, then why did I still fail to maintain interest?

This throws a wrench into my plans for the future, as well. What a disappointing turn of events.

Oh, and my birthday is the 7th.

Jimquisition had an unusual second posting today that caught my attention not only due to the unusual nature of more than one episode in a weeks time, but how quickly Jim deemed that it should come out so as to warn consumers (good form on you Jim). I will link the video at the bottom of this journal.


Words (almost) fail me. What you will witness in this demo was the ideal alien(s) video game. To learn that this is an absolute, unadulterated, unmitigated fabrication that in no way whatsoever reflects the final product is heartbreaking to the point of devastation. you could argue all anyone was interested in was the multiplayer like back when i played Avp2 for hours competitively. You would be mistaken. i actually enjoyed the single player game back then for what it was worth and that is what i was most looking forward to with this iteration. multiplayer is always a 2nd place to me. And this breaks my heart.

That was bad form, riot, pulling the Goth Annie sale. No one had a problem a short while back when the legacy skins went on sale from the "vault". No one has a problem with weekly skin sales. Goth Annie is every bit as available right this moment as she has always been, for 3900 RP under the "Bundles" section, making her not exclusive in the least. This was a sale, plain and simple. Bad form, Riot. I was ready, cash in hand, to pay for it.

Let it be known that there were no winners as a result of this decision. Only losers. Riot loses money, the community loses credibility, and the beacon of gaming itself glows a little bit dimmer.
