Not the emergency kind thankfully!

Spent two very uncomfortable hours at the doctor today (The doctor and crew are amazing.) getting two ultrasounds and a biopsy done.

The findings are what I expected and two other issues besides. :P

I have a two inch cyst on an ovary. This leads to Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome, that comes with some symptoms, of which I have all.

I have a 1-2 inch mass in my uterus. Unknown at this time if it's cancerous. That's what the biopsy was for. (Oh man did that HURT.)

And lastly I have a fibrous growth on the uterus lining wall.

This means surgery. I've opted for full uterus and one ovary removal so that I don't have to have repeat surgeries in the future. I'm also 48, so not worried about having kids. If I don't have this removed it will get worse and put me at great risk.

Not sure when this will be happening as we have to wait for the biopsy. If it's cancerous, that'll be an entirely different set of doctors. But I will be having this surgery no matter what. I'll make sure not to take commissions around the time of it all, and keep people informed. Every surgery, even out patient like this, comes with the risk of death. So I don't want people never getting commissions. Now, I'm not expecting to die, so there should just be a delay of maybe a week or two depending on how I feel. :) The doctor is expecting in for breakfast surgery, home for dinner. I'm healthy, in spite of all this, so should come through no problems.

Kinda scared, won't lie. But I take comfort in a hospital five minutes from my house, that has saved my husband's life five times now. So.. More when I know dates.

Seems the install guy showed up like half an hour ago and replaced the cable. o.o

I'll try streaming tomorrow.

Also, this cable is at least twenty years old, on top of the damage done to it. So yeah, I'm really glad that this has changed and hope it means solid improvements. We've been yoyoing constantly for over a year.

After replacing the modem and getting no change, and after talking to the install guy (Who actually knows his shit, and is smart on top of it..), they will be replacing the cables to the apartment.

These cables run right to where some major water line repairs were done some years ago, so we assume the cables were damaged during this time. And odds are all my internet troubles have stemmed from this.:p

This happens tomorrow, Wed, Apr 5. Soon! :) And once it's done I may be able to actually stream. Here's to hoping.

My modem is dropping connection every 15-45 minutes.

The repair person won't be out until Monday the 13th to replace the modem. :P

Said modem may not last that long at this rate, so just a heads up. I'll still have my phone, but I can't do much on it in regards to posting art and such. Or the modem could merely be super damn annoying and make it so I can't do much on the internet until then.

But maybe after it's replaced I can stream again. I really think I'm cursed when it comes to streaming though. Any time I try something goes wrong.

The internet is being a pain. Forgot to mention that in the hating holidays post. It bounces every hour or two, and I can't stream at all.

Sorry I haven't! The internet company has been doing repairs, so I'm hoping it'll become stable after the holidays are over. Sadly everyone is on vacation and repairs are super slow. :P

Also wanted to say thank you to everyone! I never meant to garner sympathy, but you all went out of your way to make me feel better anyway. And I do. <3

For the fourth year in a row something has happened that uses every cent we have, meaning we can't even go out for dinner on the holiday with friends or family. The car died a couple weeks ago, then someone rear ended my husband and is clearly an insurance scammer. I dread what she's going to try.

And today.. me trying to at least arrive with something to a party tomorrow, I go to make a batch of cookies.. and the fucking oven isn't working. And since it's Christmas Eve.. no one will be able to consider repairing it for days.

It's like every annoying shit thing that could happen, will. Super frustrated here.

I keep telling myself it could be worse. Could be waaaaaaaaaaay worse, but bah humbug. Nothing good ever happens on the holidays for me. We've lost both my husband's parents and our cat on holidays the last few years, and had something happened that took all our money right when it would have been nice to actually do something to feel better.

Bah! Bah I say. (The internet was down all during the day yesterday, and is unstable now.)

Just curious if anyone would be interested in this kind of thing. I can't stream in the evenings, excepting some Thurdays, and can be on Thurs-Mon during the day. Which is generally bad for most Americans, excepting the weekends.

Got news today, Tues Nov 15, that the pc has been repaired and is already in route back to me! I could get it by Friday. :)

Oh man, I thought it'd be weeks more! Seems like they didn't spare money on shipping either. Three day shipping for a pc costs. It cost me $150 to ship it out there, and that took a week. @.@ (BIG thanks to the commissioners lately. You helped so much!)

And a big thank you to all the kind people who have offered help, spare parts, and advice. You've kept me sane. <3

Crossing fingers that the pc arrives, and safely.

Oh.. it was the liquid cooling that was the issue.

Okay, the loaner pc didn't work out. Over the last few days, managing to work 6-8 hours a day on a picture to boot.. I have struggled with this loaned pc. The OS was totally borked to the point it wouldn't even let me do a fresh install. Couldn't upgrade it either. Finally managed to jump through enough hoops to get a new copy of windows installed only to find out it lost the reg key somehow. The pc is worthless without buying another win key.. which I'm not doing. Somehow, a totally legit win7 key is not considered legit anymore. I have the key, but Microsoft sucks big time.

So! The wonderful friend who loaned me that pc told me to throw that one out, as he was going to anyway, and loaned me a laptop. So after more hours of installing everything, and its brother software, I am actually on a stable pc.

However, I can't steam. So frustrated about that! There are so few usb outlets on this thing I can't hook both tablet and headset at the same time. *facepalm* This isn't the only issue, but really it's all preferences at this point. Can't strip off everything I hate that's loaded on this laptop, as it's a loaner, so I deal. I can at least do all the art I need and that's the important part.

I'm sooooo very tired of rebuilding pcs. And I get to do it again once the broken pc is returned. Hopefully repaired. I wiped the drive, formatting it, so the guys at the shop couldn't get a hold of the stuff I do for clients.

One of my husband's friends gave us a decent pc. I've got to fix it, as he doesn't bother to do virus scanning, or malware checks. c.c; (I've found six viruses so far.)

But.. I might be able to stream in a couple days!

My good pc, the broken one, took a week to ship, but arrived safely, and is now being taken care of. Could be several more weeks before they return it. So having a decent pc is really going to help.

Sorry I've been absent a couple days. The funeral for my mother in law was yesterday, and it was a rough day. :(

In better news, I've managed to get the backup pc working. There was something strange going on with the old harddrives, so I think they may be bad. Took some hoop jumping, but I'm finally on a pc that doesn't have only 512k memory and a 500meg harddrive. That was painful, let me tell you.

But anyway, the new pc still needs to be shipped back, but I should be able to do some work. If anyone wants a commission I can get started as soon as I reinstall everything.

This is such a relief! My husband has been a wonder, helping in every way he can, loaning me his pc and everything (Which I always felt so guilty about!), but now I can actually get to FA and not cripple the whole system. Yeah, it was that bad. I could barely load FA, so you KNOW the laptop is an oooooold one. It still has a printer port, and plugins so old current adaptors don't fit.

Let's pray this pc lasts. I got the new one because of worries over it.

Good news: Found the problem!

Shoot me now. It's the CPU, or more likely the water cooling that's failed. This means no big price computer pieces to have to buy. It's running at roughly 90C. Confirmed by two different programs, one being a bootable virus scanner that also checks memory and stuff. (I've done so many tests.. x.x)

The bad news:

I'll have to mail my pc in for repairs. This means 3-4 weeks without my new pc. :( I still have the older one, so won't be totally without. Just can't do all the nice things the new one did. We have to pay shipping costs to get it there, but that $30 sure beats $400.

I was so tired last night I accidentally deleted a bunch of stuff, but nothing I can't live without. Some bookmarks and game saves for games I barely played. All the important stuff is backed up, and I'm making another backup right now.

Can't express how frustrated I am, and how tired, but I won't have to shell out big bucks for this. It's fully under warranty.



Thank you everyone! For the help, for the advice. It helped me narrow things down.

I went into the bios and set the cpu to run as low as possible, so I'm decently stable while making the backup. Can't do anything fun, but at this point making sure I save things is important. They will re reformating the drives along with repairs.

Update: After frustrating hours, it's not the video card, nor is it the power supply. My pc is shutting down without warning. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've been trying to run a virus scan, but the pc drops when I do. (Man, a virus would suck! I run three types of scanners every week, one every day, too.) There seems no rhyme nor reason for the crashes. I've updated Windows, drivers, done system restores.. and nothing helps.

Gonna have to try a Windows reinstall.

Sorry I haven't been streaming the last few days. My mother in law died yesterday. It's disrupted life, and will for a few more days. Once the funeral is over I'll be streaming again. So a few more days.

She was mid 80's and died at home, among her family. If there's such a thing as a good death, she had as near to that as we all could make it. My poor husband though. His father died two nears ago this Thanksgiving. :( So more than anything I'll be spending time with him instead of streaming.

I got an email last night about that she had to evacuate. :( She had to drive for over seven hours to find a hotel that had space for her, and her family.

Looking for a PVE, private server. Really, really want to avoid anywhere people will screw with me, as that always happens. After twenty years of mmos, I'm beyond tired of it. So NO PVP. None. It never fails that some asshat will wander over and do their best to make my day miserable. :(

I suck at the game, but am having fun. Tired of trying to do the impossible solo though. Help?
