It's been what...months since I did journal? Better fix that. 2012 was my first year going full fur, and holy crap was it one of the best decisions I've ever made. Even though since then I've lost my job, it's still a bright outlook for 2013. ^^

In short: Oklacon was AWESOME!

Had a great time, and met a ton of awesome furs, far too many to tag here. Will definitely be making this trip annually. Next time with allergy meds (Thanks Zephyr ^^)

We are on our way to our first ever Oklacon! Can't wait to see some friendly faces and hopefully some new friends.

So I'm trying to get plans in place to go to this, but I don't have a ride or a room to stay in. Is there anyone who can help with either part of this? I'm flexible on days I can leave, and don't mind sleeping wherever I fit. Just trying to actually get some plans in place.

Opening Ceremonies are Friday and I can't wait! I've been a huge Olympics watcher ever since I was little. Summer, Winter, doesn't matter. Watching people from all these countries put their heart on their sleeve and country on their shoulder as they try their best at sports that we sometimes only care about for these 2 weeks. I can't get enough.

The best summer I can remember as a kid was '96, when I waited and waited for them to start and then watched every hour I possibly could, live from Atlanta. (I also got Secret of Mana for the SNES as my birthday present that year too. Best Summer Ever.)

My mate is about to lose me for a couple weeks as I binge watch more TV than I have watched total since we met. Sorry, babe

As the title said, I finally figured out how to not buy so many drawings.

I never said it was a good idea...

So I walked into a Taco Bell.

And by that, I mean I walked smack into the plexiglass window next to the entrance of the Taco Bell. Full speed smacked into it.

I left a faceprint.

My hand still hurts too. The high school cashier laughed at me.

My mate got me a wonderful present of a massage, pedicure, facial and waxing with our friend who does it for a living. I had never had a waxing before so we decided to just do my back to see if I could handle it.

I could not.

It hurt. A lot. I cried.

We cancelled the rest of the waxing

So TECHNICALLY, my birthday is today. But today is going to be boring and full of going to work. But this weekend, my mate had all manner of surprises up his sleeve. The big surprise was that awesome cake, but we also did a round of "pin the tail on the foxy" with this pic of mine: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8159429/. We all cheated.

Several brought presents which were entirely unnecessary. You guys seriously didn't have to do that. Thank you though, it was amazingly sweet of you guys. Even you Wolfie, for giving us a 1-inch thick wooden paddle to spank me with >_>

Played awesome games of Tumbling Dice and Cards Against Humanity, and good times were had by all. Even by my non-furry friend who was brave enough to come ^^

Yesterday was suppose to be a day getting a massage, mani/pedi and body wax (>_<), but our masseuse injured himself Saturday. So instead was lunch with furries and a pool party with my mate's friends. Followed by the movies and seeing Ted. All together, an amazing weekend. Thank you, love, for doing this all for me. I love you.

Hi, I'm Ramsey...and I'm addicted to furry commissions

I haven't been an active part of the fandom for very long, but my gallery is filling up with art I've bought. 20+ individual pieces, a 15-page comic, several icons, all since Furry Fiesta. Theres like 4 or 5 more pieces I've bought that aren't finished yet. Multiple hundreds of dollars in just over 3 months.

That sort of money could've bought a sweet computer, or gone towards a new used car...nope. Instead, custom furry smut. Lots of it. I need help.

Had never gone to the zoo here in Tulsa, so was thrilled to go with some local furs. I decided to dress for the occasion with my fox hat/wig and matching tail. The zoo was PACKED! Kids and parents everywhere! I could hear some giggles and whispers, some parents telling their kids to look my way. Definitely got some funny looks. One little scamp grabbed my tail as I was at a vending machine!

The highlights were definitely:

#1: Talked to a lady who was asking if I was wearing a hat, or just did something crazy with my hair. Alas, the only thing I've done with my hair in the last decade is lose it. We talked for a minute, her even going so far to calling me cute ^///^, before she even noticed my tail. "Oh! You come with a tail too?!"

I smiled and replied, "Sure do. Costs money to look this good"

Highlight #2: Getting asked to have my picture taken. By the employee in the gift shop!! He was a young guy, so he might have been hip to the whole furry scene. Or at least known a little. Or maybe he just wanted a picture of the weirdo with the fox hat and tail.

Either way, one of the best times I've had at any zoo. And I can't wait for my suit to be done!

I'm considering doing a bigger group-style commission in the theme of an underwear party. Getting a bunch of furries together in their underwear though is just asking for trouble. At some point the undies start coming off, and the real fun starts.

The question is, though, is anyone interested in coming to this party?

If anyone's interested, just let me know either here or in a note with what you'd prefer to be wearing (if anything) and doing. I'll try to honor anyone's wishes as to what they'd want, but in general the pic will be adult.

But yeah, if anyone's interested, let me know. I won't have room for dozens of people, so if I get a HUGE response I'll have to figure out a way to decide. I don't have *that* many watchers though, but we'll see >_<

So I learned why my boss was so distant the last couple days. We are being audited next week. So he is very much stressing out. Which means more strict deadlines for me. The new D-Day is next Friday. By then, I need to have mounds of paperwork and other work finished and organized. In addition to finishing last week's craziness. I will be amazed if I make it out of this year with this job. Or at this rate, out of this month...

At least I have more than 4 days notice this time

I sort of caught a "lucky" break with my project. The plumbers cancelled and can't make it in until next week. So I won't make my deadline, but for reasons beyond my control. Having that pressire off really helped me buckle down and finish everything else. So, crisis averted I hope. We'll see whether I get a call into HR next week ...

My deadline at work is Friday. I thought they meant Friday end of the day.

Nope. They really meant end of the day Thursday.

As in, tomorrow Thursday.

I do not remember the last time I've been this stressed. Worked 12 hours or more every day this week. Literally started crying tonight. This sucks. Gonna be a long night tomorrow

Soooo...yeah.

After getting back from Wild Nights, I was informed that my big project at work is no longer due at the end of June. It's now due Friday.



My ass is on the line on this project. Screwing this up could easily cost me my job. I tend to work well under pressure, but I don't think I've ever worked under THIS much pressure before. I can't even relax after I came home. It's taking all I've got to not break down in tears and it's only Monday.

4 more days to go.

I can do this.
