Wild Nights was great fun! If a little too....freeform for my taste. I realize they had more than their hands full, and I sincerely thank all the staff for putting on a good time! ^^

My mate also had a great time for his first con. I look forward to dragging him to Oklacon and Fiesta too!

For those that are going, any last-minute tips for a couple newbies?

Tonight played my first ever Omaha casino tournament. Chopped final 4 for $170. The last casino tournament before this I won for over $500, and got 2nd at the Furry Fiesta tourney. Maybe I should play more often...

I'm beyond flattered that so many furs I don't know decided to watch me. Literally everything I've posted has been a commission so be sure to check out the original artists too ^^

New pages of my comic I commissioned from  furryratchet are going up over the weekend. The intros are over and the sexy parts are beginning.

Both myself and my mate have been avid tournament players of the Magic: the Gathering card game for over a decade each (Super Nerdy, I know). Despite ten years experience, I hadn't really put much effort into playing at the higher competitive levels. Yesterday we both took a mini-road trip from Tulsa to Springfield, MO for a Pro Tour Qualifier, only the fourth one I had ever been to.

In the end, out of 84 people, we both made the Top 8, I ended up in 3rd, my mate got 5th. We even had to play against each other in the quarterfinals >_<. It was my first Top 8, and I must say I felt very confident playing under that sort of a pressure situation. I lost to another friend from Tulsa in the semifinals, so I got to cheer him on in the finals (to no avail unfortunately ). Of the 6 Tulsa players who made the trip, 5 made the Top 16. Even though none of us won the tournament, we certainly crashed the party.

I'm so proud of my mate for doing so well, and he's proud of me too. We now have 60 booster packs to open and had a great time all day. I did knock him out of the tournament though, so now I have to think of some way to make it up to him

You may have seen my almost obnoxiously pornographic teaser for the comic I commissioned with on my front page. Or maybe on his front page. I hope it turns out well, since it's full of my ideas and scenes I visualized. But I'm sure he'll do great.

Either way, working with him and thinking about different scenes and a silent story progression and visualizing the environments is really getting me in the mood to write again. I know I said this earlier, but this time I can't stop thinking about it. I don't remember the last time I felt such an unstoppable urge to just create something. Hopefully I can find the time soon enough.

Newborns are always so cute

My lovely lion mate  brabsis is getting set up on FA, and I am working on getting a ref sheet for him to match mine. The surprise of all this isn't wearing off anytime soon, but we'll see what happens after he tags along at Wild Nights. We'll see how well he behaves himself.

We spent a lot of time talking about stuff after the bowling meet, and he really had a great time.

Then he started talking about how he thinks it would be fun being in costume. And then what species he would be. I thought it was just talk...until he told me today he was thinking about how he thinks he would be a Lion. And then just now asking me to help with a character name.

I was content being different. Being furry without him. I didn't expect a 30-year old guy to be "recruited" as it were. I didn't expect to have any of the conversations we had the last two nights.

Now I don't know what to expect from him tonight.

Can't wait to find out though.

Travelled down to OKC last night for the monthly bowling meet. This time with music and black lights. Soooo much fun. Even more fun than normal since I had my boyfriend in tow.

The not-a-furry boyfriend. Or so he claims. For not being a fur he sure enjoys the people he's met, meetups he's been to and the art I've been getting.

We took some fun pics that I'll have to post later tonight when I get back from work. And my mate really enjoyed hanging with the suiters. We both can't wait for my own to be finished here in a couple months.

 cjager was hurt in an accident recently and is banged up, then his father got in an accident and has been hurt pretty badly. He is currently up where his father is at and is looking for contact to help keep himself together. He just told me he's not slept for three days and is hoping someone can talk with him. He's currently at the St. Francis Hospital at 61st and Yale in Tulsa OK with his father.

Had fun. Got a little drunk but not too bad. I may or may not have sent a lot of naughty messages to some of my furry friends while tipsy. I hope I wasn't over the line with any of them. Fun times though

Having a bunch of mine and my mates friends over for drunken antics tonight!! I usually don't get drunk at these myself since I

A) cant hold my liquor, so I don't drink much,
2) get a hangover headache within minutes of getting drunk and
D) like remembering the evening more than sending out drunken messages.

Also have more furs than usual at this party, and none of the non-furs know about my furry side. Might be some interesting conversation...

It's been a long time since this has happened. But I really want to start writing again. I love language, being able to turn the boring into the extraordinary by changing and choosing just the right words. I never lost my love of words, but somewhere along the way I misplaced my motivation. I think I've found it (in the unlikeliest of places, even), and will probably start writing this weekend.

Some of them will be based on truth, some fiction, some squeaky clean, some unbelievably adult. The adult ones are outnumbering the clean ones at the moment, but that's probably because I'm a 27-year old horny teenager. Why else would I have made my fursona a stripper?

So, some stuff to look forward to. Or not. But at least I'll be able to let loose some of the scenes that have been wracking my brain for years.

Where to even start?

This weekend was hands down one of the most fun weekends I can ever remember. These "convention" things are amazing and I'm kicking myself that I've been missing out all these years. Was way too busy enjoying the moment to take pictures, but it's not like I'm going to forget any time soon.

Spent ALL the moneys, talked to some of my absolute favorite authors and artists, saw some awesome shows, met a ton of people, hugged a lot of adorable fursuits, and even managed to find time to get 2nd in the Charity Poker Tournament

As a bonus, if you were at the dance Saturday you even got to see me shake my tail on the dance floor which I never thought I would do.

Furry Fiesta, don't you ever change.

So when's the next con again?

Got my badge, spent some money, got some butterflies in my stomach I haven't had since childhood Christmas ^^

Off to a good start.

After over a decade of lurking, including years of FA lurking on a different account, I finally got the motivation to start posting the commissions I'm getting (especially at Fiesta this week ^^).
