Posted 9 years agoWell everyone is saying that Trump is all doom and gloom.
But the crime rate is at it's lowest level in years.
Murder is down, street crime is down, robbery is down.
But if you were to point out that yes that's very true as well as gun ownership is at an all time high... I think their heads might explode.
Not that I'm advocating their heads should explode. That might be a 'micro-aggression'.
And since someone is sure to bring up, 'mass shooting'....
How about the one in a South Carolina nightclub?
I guess the definition of a mass shooting is 3 or more people being shot at one time.
Well the one in the South Carolina nightclub had 3 folks getting shot.
So why not the 'wall to wall' news coverage?
Maybe it's because when the shooter turned his gun on his fourth victim, the victim shot first.

NBC You've done it again
Posted 12 years agoNBC has once again found a way to lower themselves in my esteem.
No I'm not going to talk about how they edited some audio from the George Zimmerman case.
Or what passes for news on that franchise.
I'm going to get all 'graymuzzle' on yous guys.
And I'm not even going to say something about how better everything was in the 'old days'.
It's what NBC didn't do.
One would have thought they would have taken this opportunity to, 'Toot their own horn', Puffed up that battered Peacock, and bragged a bit.
About what? You might ask.
The 60th anniversary of:
January 1, 1954
The First Coast to Coast Colorcast
The Tournament of Roses Parade
And NBC did it!.. Ok, there was only about 200 color TV's in the world, but still it was the first.
So today I anxiously turned on my flat screen and was prepared to be impressed with a historical piece about said first 'Colorcast'......
Nope, didn't happen.

I've heard in the past that it was because they had 'adult' panels.
But you have to be an 'adult', and Want to go to them.
I've never seen anything out in the public areas that one doesn't see at AC.
Everything 'Adult' has a guard on it.
Trickster or Jewel are no longer con chairs.

Seams 'Big Pharm' and 'Big Farm', got some early Christmas presents this year.
"Asthma patients who rely on over-the-counter inhalers will need to switch to prescription-only alternatives as part of the federal government's latest attempt to protect the Earth's atmosphere."

I do however would like you to spend 5 minuets looking at a web page.
