For every thing we get something else breaks, the cons outweigh the pros, the admin structure is a joke, the rules are self serving, the comments are more or less blow smoke up the artist ass rather then being anything worth reading more often then not, far to many people are doing the same thing, there's no orrigonality in peoples post, and funnly enough the most popular ones are so deep in this hole I think many forget that they have not produced anything of there own in ages.

The code still needs work, and from what I've been told it's going ot get worse before it gets better. People can buy there way to fame and clog up the sumbishions list but someone that create with bought things can get scrtinized. Did I mention too much porn? It's like this is one big giant porn hard drive.

And the community you think exist, does not really. It's more along the lines of, if we belive it hard enough and with some pixi dust it will be so. And don't get me started on the ego's...

So... Any one know anyplace else tat still around that might offer up a nice alternative to this place? Cause longer I stay slogged in this hole, the less and less I want to create cause I'm not getting inspired.

I'm at the point where I'm saying, "Why the hell am I here?", again.

After the last issue I stared thinking just why the hell am I trying to support this place with content. When at the drop of a hat or just cause someone does not like the medium involved in the creation stuff can be pulled. Where, and this is just a personal observation, we are praseing and rewarding acting like a total ass hat/stuck up jerk off while the decent people get the short end of the stick.

So I ask allot of you out there what keeps you all going? What pushes you to create and keep creating? Cause right now I'm looking at allot of my unfinished projects and other things and asking myself, "Why should I bother?".

Also, on that last matter, I want to send a "You peeps are wicked." Out to all you that were and saw things from the direction I was coming from. (Oddly enough all being those outside the person in questions little circle. How odd is that? *he lies 9.9*)

That way I could stick some ballons on it's chest and gossle it now and then to get a better feeling to heavy weight on the chest and capture it in animation better.

Well apparently she's still having hissiy fit because someone not oh her little OMG I respect you artist grouping is doing figure work with there model when they had given permission many many moons ago. Now they have gone to the admins.

I got a delightful, and polite mind you, note from Pinku saying why my scrap images was removed. GIving there were only three people in it And moy other renders f the second person remain, as were the other two from the idividual in said scrap and I own the other it's quite obvious who did this.

I think Greg Panaovitch got the same sorta treatment when they did a serries of Wednesday. Apparently the rerm Fan Art I lost on them.

My monitor, BOTH of them, have decided they have put in there final hours of service and died on me. (Flat creen has shorted out, Tube one finaly died.)

So now I have a big powerful tower computer, and NO way to do anything on it. >.< No render, no games, no nothing.

I'm going out of my head. Why dose this year suck so!? Lost my job, no net at home, lost my computer now, more family died, Dog's gone deaf... no income, no prospects.. GAH.

A little while ago a bunch of you folk could not leave me alone about my work and how bad it was and so forth, but now, because you can't get it anymore, all the things are turned on it's head. Well TS. It's like the song. "You don't know what you got till it's gone." Maybe next time when others like myself come along you'll know better. I doubt it tho, cause many of you don't know just how good you all have it.

In summery, Stop contacting me to beg for my work to come back. Not going to happen. You want to talk, fine, but leave the creative portion out of it.

On that note if you REALLY have to see some of the stuff I have done, tho even in this case it won't be much. I'm sitting on a lot of work and a lot of figures I've made, that I don't know what I'm going to do with. Been a while since I've done one of these. And I know I'm not going to be liked for it. Not that I'm liked as it is, but if I gave a shit over who liked me and such, I'd likely be face down in a ditch somewhere.

Having read another persons journal. (I will not say who's to spare them backlash.) I have comprised here an, in my opinion, a fairly accurate summation of the tiers of out so called community.

Keeping in mind that it is Upper Tier that makes the face of the community. What many that enter it either are trained to think, or come into thinking that this is how the mechanics work.

UPPER:

Talents: Talents are simply that, individual in the community that have some form of talent that plays into the community. Normally artistic. Talents 'tend' to think highly of themselves for such talent and often fraternize with other talents. More often then not, talents will not be overly social outside of said little talent grouping, and will ultimately ignore those of lower portions of the tiers save notable exceptions, stated later. Talents also tend to think very highly of there particular medium, scoffing downward at any others that are not up there there elevated, sometimes over inflated views. Talents also tend to think there workings are worth more. Talents are particularly kind to other talents, offering gifts and services with expectation of being giving such things back. Not always case, but tends to be the norm. Not all talents fall into this particular make up, but generally or eventually, most eventfully find this make up and adhere to it. Notable exceptions do exist, tho are few and far in-between.

Knowns: Knowns are individuals that are generally well known and depicted often by talents, but more often then know do not actively display any talent of there own. Generally thinking very much of themselves because of this connection and often made very close to talents in some way, (Wether through financial transaction of activities as described in following tiers) they 'tend' to think it is there job to not only protect talents, and in such a way further infusing themselves to talents, but also to keep other from getting into said fraternizing. Can be very explosive if provoked. Most Knowns have over inflated ego and think themselves better then most other sectors minus Knowns.

Brown Nosers: BK as they will be hence forth stated as, tend to be the pre-evolutions of Knowns. Individual that will latch themselves to specific talents and shower praise, gift of fanatical stock and other such things until evolved into Knowns; where they will take all privileges of being knows as well and the negatives. BK tend to be blindly agreeable, even if the talent they have latched too contradicts themselves often. To a BK, the talent can 'never' be wrong. BK can also be found connecting themselves to knows as pre step to getting to there targeted talent. BK's can also be Knowns at the same time.

Groupies: Groupies are a stage normally below BK's, tho have potential of being corrupted into becoming BK. Groupies do not have the same 'stick to you like glue' tendencies as BK's, but can sometimes find a talent thy enjoy enough to evolve into BK's. Groupies are generally wild card of the upper tier, and can fall into lower tier sections OR evolve into higher tier.

LOWER:

Lower Talents: LT's as we will call them tend to be all the things talents are excluding a few key pointers. Normally they have no SET circle and will generally talk to, respond and consider things from all parties, upper or lower tiers. LT's tend to, under normally circumstances, have as much, if not more Talent then talents, able to break away from repetitive content, mediums and subject matters to showcase a higher range of talents. LT's generally are unknown or are barely known, living in the shadow of Talents. LT's tend to not think highly of they own skills, despite having them and sometimes even offer assistance to those that wish to learn and are up and coming where as Talents under normal circumstances do not. Some talents have even go as far as to try to sabotage LT's perhaps in fear of being overshadowed and drooped from there top spot. LT's do have the possibility of moving up to Talents, and oftentimes, upon making such a evolution forget some of the things that made them good in LT spot.

Wisdoms: Wis's as we will call them, are just as there name implies. They tend to be well versed and knowledgeable in matter and subjects that surround the community and do not. Wis's tend to have much to say when they feel the need to say it. Ultimately they do not say much however, following the adage that a closed mouth gathers no foot. Tho when brought out to speak when the feel it is suitable, they speak volumes. However, Wis's knowledge falls on deaf ears even when they are correct and thy once more return to obscurity. Wis's also tend to evolve or rather being a subsections of the following group.

Critiques: Crit's are as there name implies. Most LT value there input while Talents disavowal any knowledge of there word or make light of there words, however right they are. Crits get the most flack from Knows and BK's simply because it is point potential fault in Knows work, proving that said known is not perfect. Crit's tend to know what there talking about tho, and as stated previous also tend to be wis's.

Unknowns: Unknowns are just that, individuals that might be talents, might be BK's, or could be potential LT or any other sector. More often then not no one knows about them until they make a appearance in a big way, and then generally fall into one of the previous placing.

Lastly, there are Neutrals: Who are just individuals that are her for whatever reason, to belong, to enjoy, to just be. Thy can fall into any class, or may remain neutral for there entire time in the community. Neutrals tend to be the silent ends to a means, swooping in unannounced watching but ultimately not saying or doing anything. They could be classed higher or lower then Unknowns depending on there actions or be mixtures of and of the sectors.

That out of the way... On to what's pissing me off right now.

For the (Counts.... 1, 2, 3..) Fourth time tonight in my browsings I have seen the same image. Simply put, it is like every other OC session amoung various artiest I have seen, tho with an aparent unique and nift twist. The arangment of it was ment to look like patchwork. Personaly, I don't SEE it myself, giving that just about all the style that were involved look alike. What's more, one would think that if you trully wished it to look like patchwork, one would not invite individula specific to daw for it, but, rather, have open offer so ture mulitplicity of styles conglomerate to geather into intresting textured desngin, like true patchwork, as, last time I checked, not every one sews the same way, rather then be just another gathering of eletist that would not have there precios digital canvas marred by those unfit to attempt scribles on it. (Not speeking about all of the collected in this case being such, but again read disclamer.)

Now, this pisses me off for allot of reasions, all I have already once or twice stated in previous journals, but that got me to thinking deeper into it. For a melting pot of races, creeds, backgrounds and so forth, we are about as accepting of others as several piles of shit. Meaning, that sure, it all came from differnt places, but in the end, it's all the same, and if something differnt is found in it, you'll notice right off the back.

Or, to put it another way, Think the Borge. Or to a more recent escapad into the hive colective mindset, The Aporoids. One voice leading many many litlte feelers, all devoid of any and all contous thought and should anythignstand up againt this sinularity, it is instantly bad, wrong or needs to be either assimlated or eradicated. Don't belive me? Look at any one image here on wondrous FA and rad down the comments. And please, take note at the abundence of *Generric congratory comment about how much image owns so many internets*. But look at someone that give critique (IF YOU CAN FIND IT!) And look at how swiftly the people or the head of the snake itself will bite the hand that feeds it.

When did we become a singlarity? One mind one voice? (Starts chanting Obey us... And then shakes out of it) If I wanted zombies, I'd play Biohazard. Stop stroking there egos and swelling there heds, and be honest with them. Even idf a peice is wonderfull, and there are many out there that are, something could likly be improved. To be honest will help them more then being roboticly praising.

Now, on to the main subject of this AFJ. And quite simply, this one is all about egos. And just how over inflated many have gotten.

Now I'm not saying it's not a good thing to be proud of yourself, hardly. You do something good, you should be damn proud of it. Anytime I compleat a big render I'm super proud of it. However, does that mean I think it's the best things since sliced bread? No. D I feel that I am superior to anyone else that did not do it first? Hardly. Would I not talk to someone cause they can't do it? Very much the oposit. Hell! I'd likely offer to teach them. And I have. Point is, just cause your good at something does not give you a reasion to get a big head. REmember, Pride is the rout of all evils.

Secondly, you folks that think your so damn hot cause I'm recongnised, or I know this person, or I get this that and whatever done for me. You folks make me sick. Knowing a person, or getting something nice done for you is NOT a fucking status symbol. You should be greatfull people call you friend, not using it to make yourself seem more important then others.

While I'm on this subject, I might as well give you my feelings about Cliques... I goddamn fucking HATE them. Hre are abunch of people that sticvk togeather but only for the soul rasion of making others feel lousy cause yoyur not good enough to be part of them. I swear, If 'I' EVER gt so big a head that I can decied who's to little to talk too, or fear for talking to someone cause my other friends would disown me, I want to be shot in the head. Or worse yet, folks that will talk to you, but cause your not as good as them in something your only an aquntince. YEah, so can't draw, does that make me any less talented then the next person in the medium I do use?!

And while 'm on that track, lets side bar to something alittle more centered to here. I have been perusing some folks commision pages, and I'm fucking appaled to A) What they think there art is worth and B) The fact that there are people that are either stupid or ignorent enough to PAY it. Where the hell do you get off thinking that your worth that much, for starters? Serriosly, who blew up your damn ego THAT bloody high? Oh wait, I know. It's you god damn ignorent fans out there. Don't you reilise that the MOMENT you pay into that sort of thing, you have Justified them and accknolaged that they can do that, and that inflates there over padded egos more? What' more that money coudl be going to such better things, like starving kids, or resherch to end desies? but rather then that, it gos to some ink on a page s you can say, look what I got, an then forget about it years later when the ink fades. THINK!

Too sumerize: Just cause your good, does not make you god and your not bettter then anyone else out there, just a little more talented. Second, just cause you know someone that thinks so highly of themselfs, doesnot make you any more unimportaint you might have been before knowing them. Third, Just cause there's allot of you congragated does not make you any more special then any other group that congragates togeather. And lastly, just cause you think your worth allot does not make you any more wortless when your dead.

Third instalment. Man, I hate being sick, just makes me noice things that piss me the hell right off.

I labbled this one right off the bat because I know of a few that will likely come to shout at me over it, but I thought I would mention it anyway.

Anyway, what the hell is the deal with theses so caled famous furs? Now I don't mean famous as in, I made mysaelf known with a talent or some such. I make music, draw, colour... Whatever. I'm talking those furs that you see every place in art, or such that are famous for the soul reasion of being famous.

They don't really have any so called talents, most times*, but act, think and go around like there shit don't stink 'JUST' cause they have been drawn a butt load of times. In other words, there famous for BEING famous. Kinda like that chick. You know, I can't think of her name. The one that died. She never really did to much, just was known because she was known. You know?

And then, to top it all off, if only to stroke ther own egos or keep themselfs in the know of the people, these individuals go out, make accounts on image sights and then post there 'images' wich is nothing more then an archive of all the lovly thigns they have had drawn of them. This point goes back to what I said in my last A.F.J.

Why the hell do we alow this sorta thing. And why do we give these persons such criditability and grandure. More so, why on earth do people LET these individuals walk all over them?
