Just to keep you posted. The reason why I haven't been very active recently is because of my move to Seattle. Between packing, traveling, and just getting adjusted to my new time zone and city, I haven't had any time to be creative. But I'm moderately settled in and will shoot for at least a few hours livestreaming tomorrow afternoon. Need time to put in some applications, see to my new residence and whatnot.

I just can't win. The next few weeks are already going to be super tight with finances due to needing money for housing, finishing the payment for my moving company, paying the last half month of rent at my current place, and just plain living expenses. And NOW I just got a letter in from the dentist office I just got my teeth fixed at, and it's a fucking bill for $475 due on the 31st of this month. Are you FUCKING kidding me? I only have one more full paycheck at my job, and this drops in my lap with 'Oh by the way, you have a week to pay us, fucker'. What kind of scam is this? I understand my insurance might not pay for everything, but this bill, this seemingly innocent bill, may be the final nail in my coffin preventing me from moving. Or at least, moving with any of my stuff. I could probably afford to grab a backpack and my laptop sure, but I'm seriously looking at needing to get a storage unit the size of a closet to keep my stuff while I pray to find a place to live, and hope I can friggin' arrange to have my stuff shipped from the storage, all the way across the country, to me wherever I land.

Y'know, I kinda laughed it off at first, but one of my co-workers said this town was cursed. It drew people from all over the country to here, inexplicably. And when those people moved away, they kept coming back. Like it traps you and once it has you, it won't let you go. Oh yes, how I laughed. I told him 'that won't happen to me'. And then this shit happens. This place doesn't want me to leave, and frankly, I'm getting a little scared.

Drama aside, I STILL don't have a place to live. I'm talking to a few people today, I've tried the furry roommate yahoo group and I haven't yet gotten accepted or rejected, I don't know if the moderator's even seen my damned application. I don't know what to do...

Sorry that my commissions have been on hold for a bit. I went home last week for a family visit with my Wacom fully expecting to do some livestreaming. But between family gatherings, travel, and going through 20 years worth of garbage to see what parts of my childhood to keep or sell, I never found time. It was worse when I hit the other side of the family. where I spent FAR too much time in places I didn't care for, and mostly just trying to avoid my family. I love my family, but they're so LOUD and sport-sy.

And of course, on the last leg of the journey I got hit with a whammy of a cold. Basically I got the Con-Crud without the added benefit of being around other furries. I'm mostly recovered now and should be continuing livestreaming this Friday. By next week I should be fully recovered and returning to my regular scheduled livestream schedule.

A lot of artists are going Ask (Insert Character here) Tumblrs. With some of my recent pictures, I've gotten a few questions, specifically about the twins, June and July. Did anyone want me to start something up?

God help me, I'm giving this another shot. Some of my long-term customers may notice a slight increase in my prices, but I don't think I'm being unreasonable given the amount of time and effort that does into my work. That was the main reason I stopped taking them in the first place. When a $25 dollar commission takes 5-6 hours to complete, a part-time job at minimum wage would be a better use of my time.

All the commission pricing and information is on my main page. I'm really hoping I don't over-extend myself here, so I'll ease into it.

And remember, I'm perfectly cool with drawing pretty much anything, which is not something you'll get from a most of artists. I pretty much just draw the line at anything that could get me arrested.

I'm planning to move to Seattle in mid June this year. I was going to transfer to another CVS Pharmacy in the area, but it turns out they're few and far between. So the likelihood that they'd need my position is low. I could always start over at another job, I've been bored with my work anyway, but I'm a shift supervisor with decent pay and benefits. I really hate to think about starting over from scratch.

Maybe I could try to work for Trader Joes again. I loved their food, environment and whatnot, but the work itself was tedious.

Of course, that's not where my true passion lies anyway. If I could get a job doing something artistic either in acting or illustration I would prefer to get involved with that.

Does anyone who still reads these things have any advice, or live down there to help a fellow furry out?

I just got my claws on a pretty impressive drawing tablet. That, coupled with a computer microphone and editing equipment means I potentially have all of the components to do a livestream show.

Now....how do I go about doing that?

I already found the livestream site, and I assume I'll need to set up an account. But what are the specifics? Should I record the voice on the PC being used to draw, or a separate one? And hell, does anyone even care to watch me work or should I not even bother?

I was curious, and since 'I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream' wouldn't work, I typed in my name. And yeah, Rancid has about 20 images on there. I'm not upset, after all, that's why I make sure to have my name somewhere on all of my images. As long as the images aren't altered so the name is removed I'm cool with it on Fchan or Rule 34 or wherever. Art is meant to be shared. I've been reading the comments on here and they are HILAAAAaaarious! Mixed reviews of 'DEAR GOD WHY? AAAAAAUGH!', and 'Finally! Someone did this!'. I'm laughing my ass off reading this. Some of them are priceless, and more people remembered the book and game than I expected. Give it a read, it cheered me up.

I find myself increasingly dissatisfied with the pace and populace of Armpit, Virginia. Okay, it's not that bad, but I feel like I've moved to a redneckier version of the home town I fled over a decade ago, and I'm staring to feel boxed in. I want to move back to a city, after watch Oddities I felt an urge to try NYC. It's closer to home and the art community and type of people living there would be interesting. The only downside? The place scares the crap out of me.

Long story short (too late) I'd thought about this for the last year, and someone gave me a glowing recommendation for a different city slight further away. Seattle. I know some folk up that way, and it seems like a good community of furs and kinksters. Also, it seems like sort of an artsy town, but not as expensive as NYC.

Winter is a terrible time to move, so I'm going to play it safe. I'll plan for it in about 6-7 months. That should give me time to stock up on cash to move, Make plans, try to transfer from my job, try and finally get a car. I want to visit the city first this time. Try and figure out what part I want to live in, maybe find an available place. Whenever I moved out of state I had someone to crash with till I could find a place but I'm not that close to anyone.

So, if anyone has any advice on moving, or lives up by there and knows of any events (furries, bronies, etc) and let me know. It would be good to know some people up that way, get a feel for things.

All I know is I can't spend another Christmas in Virginia. So, Adventure Ho!

So, this past year has been interesting for me. I've been sort of active here again, but a bit scattered. The reason for that is mostly just changing in tastes. Both in my art style and personal tastes. But over the last year, I've come to important decisions in my life and I've decided that it's really time to stop hiding.

For the past few years I've done everything I could think of to keep my furry life separate from my more normal SFW art and comics. I could go into a lot more details, but...well, I wrote a huge journal on my DA account.

The bottom line is, for years I've been paranoid that drawing vore and boobies and whatnot would prevent me from ever being considered a legitimate artist. But I realize some of my personal favorites do both. ShoNuff, and Fred Perry and Andrew Dickman, they all have adult work and are pretty well known in the media world. Hell, Shel Silverstein wrote children poetry and did dirty pictures for Playboy. This whole time, nothing bad has ever happened, and people have been respectful and never outed me to cops or my parents or anything. So, I feel kinda silly for being scared this whole time.

That being said, I will be getting rid of a lot of my old extra e-mails, websites, condensing galleries, and basically just putting everything into three galleries. One, the previous DA site I just linked, for comics and normal SFW art. This gallery for all my spooky highly pervy art, and my Patchworth FA account for furry, but still more clowny and N/SFWish art for people who want porn but don't want to see tentacle zombies eatraping amputee demons.

This may take some time, I'gve built quite a few walls to protect myself, but I don't give a fuck anymore about hiding anymore. Hell, I have a Fetlife account too, I'll be happy to give that out too if anyone requests it.

So, some of you might be wondering where I've been the last month or so. I know my posting schedule has been erratic (At best) over the last few years. I'm still alive and well, and I still even visit FA to view my favorite artists. I'm not doing an emo ragequit and I won't be removing any art.

The very simple fact is I'm having a massive art block. When I can draw, I don't like what comes up, no project I've started has come to anything more than a few finished pages and a binder full of rough sketches. Most of the time I just stare at a blank paper and nothing comes out of me.

I'm just going to step away from this medium for a while and see if I can get my creative juices flowing in a different field. I know I've hinted at and even flat-out said I've been wanting to try my hand at film, and I took my first serious step towards that goal yesterday.

That being said...I have no fucking idea what I'm doing. I'll be teaching myself how to edit videos pretty much as a complete newbie. If any of my viewers have any suggestions, or editing programs they could recommend, I'd appreciate it. Pretty much all I have is a camera, audacity, and dreams of becoming the next Kevin Smith. Only less husky.

I've been thinking of this for a while now. I get a lot of new people watch my profile because of a picture I just posted, then pretty much immediately remove it. I know that's because I have some regular work, then some really Fucked up shit all mixed into some weird kludge archive. I know a lot of artists and furs who have commission works have two Profiles for their work. But they're recognized for both, but it allows a person to say 'I like this guy's straight porn but I DON'T like the mutilation porn...oh hey! He's got them separated, I'll watch the section I do like!'.

So I'm planning on moving clown, transformation and a few other pics to the side and leaving the vore, monster porn and other stuff here. Since a lot of this stuff is well established I wouldn't move much, necessarily. But, if anyone wants to see my cuter stuff but just skip over most of the weird crap and you have requests for transferring it, let me know. Now's the time.

And don't worry, this isn't me selling out. There's still going to be adult work on this new archive. Used to be that I would do my level best to avoid anyone finding out I draw porn. But seeing as my Mom isn't cruising FA, fuck it. I'm too old to give a shit anymore.

I've been pondering doing cartoon reviews for some time now. Problem is, I have no idea what to review first. I have quite a few cartoons in mind, but I want to tackle those when I have more experience under my belt. I want to start with cartoons from the 80's and 90's preferably, good or bad, I don't care. I plan to do actual reviews with ratings, not just yelling at bad cartoons week to week. But if there's any really bad modern cartoons anyone has suggestions for I'll take those too.

I just discovered this is even a thing. How did I not know about this? I was just browsing through Amazon, and there's a whole bunch of them, most of them with illustrations.

I know it's been a long time since I've done any real writing, but this has got me a bit curious. Does anyone watching me do these or know anyone who does? I'm wondering what kind of profit someone can make on a book like this. I mean, Kindle cuts out the printing costs, the set-up has to be easier. I'd actually be able to do some of the illustration myself if I really worked on it, so that much is covered. I want to find out more about this whole process.


After my initial excitement about this, I was like 'You're no writer, and if you did write something, no one wants to read about voraphile zombies, and even if they did, how do you make that into a book?'. But I know EXACTLY what I would be writing about. A comic concept I started but never finished, modified for the series.

The Carnival del Carne series with Pricles and Brody. It was a transformation heavy concept that I never finished, but it would work out really well I think. Basic concept, the world in the story would be inhabited by humans like ours. Brody runs away and stumbles onto a circus. The actual circus itself seems to have people dressed up like animals. Very convincingly. He sneaks in and stays after the show to realize they're actually animal people and he gets turned into one. Other transformations and fetishes will come into play later.

Does this sound like something anyone would even be interested in reading?

As I mentioned, I recently joined Star Wars the Old Republic. I have two light side characters on a Light population server to hang out with my friends, but the two RL people I know on there are barely on. I have a couple of guilds but they're also pretty small.

I've played around with dark side characters as well and they seem interesting. Is there any Empire guilds looking for new recruits? Preferably a busier group, willing to help with heroics and flashpoints. I'm even getting into PVP. Basically I want to be able to earn social points, and it just seems like pulling teeth sometimes. I'd be starting up a new character on whatever server I'm invited to, and probably playing dark side, so be warned.

I mean...force be with you.

I just went to my first BDSM event last Friday. I enjoyed the hell out of it. I learned so much stuff in one evening, it was incredible. A little never-wracking, and I'm never good at meeting new people, but everyone was really nice. I don't know why this surprised me so much. Once person who was giving a demonstration even gave me some really good advice, which was to find my thing. Something to make me stand out. Something that makes people go 'Oh yeah, that guy! That guy is great! You don't know the guy? Let me introduce you, etc etc.). And I think I figured it out.

There's been an odd increase in circus themed work in my archive the past couple of years. I love clowns, ever since I started seeing cute clown girls. I think there was some knowledge of this beforehand, but I didn't really get interested until recently. But shortly after I was told to find my thing, all I could think of was clowns. Surprisingly, not even a scary clown given my affinity for zombies and monsters, just a rather happy clown.

I know myself. I'm not cool, I'm not suave, I'm not sexy. I'm a geeky art nerd who loves to laugh, sing and act silly. That's when I'm happiest. I've even been called a clown by some of my friends and always called myself a class clown. Maybe that's what I need to do, just give into it. Work my strengths, because me trying to be clever and charming always comes off forced and ridiculous. I'm more comfortable doing bad impressions and cracking horrible puns. Hell, all I lacked was the grease paint and floppy shoes anyway.

So you'll probably be seeing more clown stuff soon. I think I have a basic idea of what make-up I want and the outfit style, but I may need more. I'll eventually want a costume, but for now I'll work on my face and really getting in touch with my inner clown. I hope that won't freak anyone out.

And if anyone does the BDSM thing in the DC area, you might just see a clown walking into one of the clubs a few months from now. If so, feel free to say hi, I don't bite. Scary clowns are so last season.

For everyone who has watched me, asked about my well-being, and commented over the the last 6 months, rest assured, I'm okay.

I'm actually doing pretty well. I started working nights a while back, so I'm no longer all that stressed out, even on my days off. I have time to work on projects at night without too many distractions. I'm healthy and even started a workout regime, losing about 40 pounds and 2-3 inches off my waste. Money has finally stabilized, I'm no longer in the constant threat of going into debt every two months. I've started painting my nails black for some reason and I think I found a good tattoo place. Things are good.

There have been some things going on tho. Mob Ties is on a somewhat permanent hiatus. I knew it was coming, and while I'm sad, it wasn't ever going to more than a hobby. You would think that would give me more time to work on furry art and commissions, right? Well, yes and no. I've been spending the last few months working on my lifelong dream of becoming a professional comic strip artist. Between SWTOR ((Arg! I just shook WoW and now this!)) and work I've been working on the necessary submissions to try and go legit. Sorry, won't tell you what it is, it's more fun to figure it out. Besides, it would look bad for a professional newspaper comic artist to draw the sort of degenerate shit I do, so if you do figure it out I'll deny it anyway.

I'm not saying that I'll be more active here, but I'm not saying I won't. I just came up with a new character I'm excited to explore, so you very well may be seeing more of me.
