Good news for once. Omg! No, but really, though!!!

We've finished lining through our entire commission queue, which means we'll be turning our focus entirely to finishing the Beach Party Mega YCH and our Patreon reward backlog, while color goes down on all the comms and remaining moodboard adopts. So, that's all coming in the very near future.

Any new commissions we get will be worked through the week they're received in our Saturday commission streams. Feel free to drop by and see us and/or order if you like! You don't have to be in stream to buy though. You can just order like normal and know that we'll be working through the week's new comms each Saturday.

Hello everyone!

Just a quick update to let you know what's going on;

Progress on the queue has unfortunately been slower than we'd like, due to unforeseen sickness and some struggles offline in our personal lives. Our mental health has been at an all-time low lately, and we haven't been able to get our normal daily grind back on track as quickly as we hoped, but there is still progress being made on the queue and Patreon pieces. We've been working quietly in the background and posting things very sparsely everywhere to make sure we're putting all of our available energy into getting work done. WIP's have been scarcely posted in the server, and social interaction has slowed while we focus on everyone's pieces instead.

We know that the quiet can be worrisome and we're grateful to those who have reached out to us during this period. It truly means the world to us.

We're planning to fully reset our work schedule this coming week by doing what feels like the most natural rhythm, starting with taking a small stream for tomorrow (7/30) and then returning to our usual schedule -- 10 hour days Monday through Friday for queue and Patreon work, Saturday streams, and Sundays off.

Once we get back into our usual rhythm, things should progress much faster, which means a better turnaround time on WIP's and finished pieces, as well as catching up all Patreon rewards!

We deeply appreciate the patience everyone has shown while we get things back on track, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ❤️

Hello everyone!

Just a quick update for you all;

We know queue progression has been a little slower than usual, and this has been due to several trips out of state for the past few months taking care of a few important (but good!) personal matters.

We will be settling in tonight for a long stretch of "at home" time which should put us back on our usual work flow. Patreon rewards, commission wips, and the mega are all being worked on and are moving along nicely.

Why we've been so quiet:

We had an incredibly rough July, that led into an exhausted and burnt out August. For anyone who may have missed updates back in July, we (M & B) spent the entire month caretaking for an elderly relative following 2 massive back-to-back spine surgeries. Neither of us are particularly trained in that arena or accustomed to it, so it was unimaginably draining, both physically and mentally. We fell out of our normal work pace, living almost exclusively in someone else's home (except for sleeping), and it's been very difficult to recover and get back into the normal swing of things.

On top of the already insurmountable recovery needed, we had an irrational number of issues arise in our home in August -- the A/C went out, there's an issue with a toilet part that needs replaced and has been hard to locate in the right size and shape for our specific model, and a smoke alarm that kept telling us there was a fire when there really was none. Plus, we hadn't gotten to any of our normal tidying in July, so the whole house needed a bit of a spruce up to get things back in order and leave us feeling like the world was "right" again.

All of this left us mentally and emotionally depleted, and it's made any extraneous communication nearly impossible. However, we're starting to feel like ourselves again. So, we do apologize for the lack of more consistent updates, but we knew it was important that we focus on our mental health for a few weeks so we could come back stronger than ever. It benefitted everyone in the end, and we truly appreciate how patient and understanding you've all been with us.

Our schedule for September:

Our tentative September schedule can be seen here. If we finish things sooner, we might have time to open a comm batch. If things take longer, we have some days off to play with as wiggle room. Regardless, we're ready for everything to be done. We'll update with new calendars on the queue and in our Discord server if anything changes.

Outstanding Patreon rewards & requests:

June rewards are all undersketched, and some have been lined. Color is in progress on the ones that have been lined. July and August will follow quickly behind, and September will be started at the beginning of October. We've come to realize that's just the easiest way for us to do it, so everyone has the full month to submit their prompts.

June & July requests are all lined and up next for color. August requests are over half lined, and remaining lines will be completed either tonight or tomorrow. The plan is to color them in quick succession with the other 2 months' worth.

Outstanding stream commissions:

June's stream is all lined and just awaiting color, which is near the very top of our color list. July's stream is about half lined, and the rest will be once the requests are lined. Color on that will be coming after request color. There was no August commission stream, but we do hope to bring it back this month.

Outstanding queue commissions:

All queue commissions have been undersketched. Lines, color, and shading (where applicable) will be completed alongside the outstanding Patreon rewards. There aren't very many, and we anticipate working through them mostly between June and July Patreon rewards.

Mega Beach Party YCH:

We have this scheduled to be worked through between Sept 19-25. We don't foresee any delays in that schedule, unless there are any payment plans that haven't been completed by the start date. Otherwise, we intend to move forward with it on the pre-established timeline. There are a few remaining and heavily discounted slots still up for grabs. You can check them out here. Patreon discounts do apply.

Upcoming moodboard & egg adopts:

We have ready a batch of 3 eggs (designed by Marimo-kun and purchased for Studio use) and 15 moodboards that we (M & B) curated by hand. We hope to post them for sale later this month, once the small backlog is mostly or completely eradicated.

While we won't be previewing the moodboards, we will give you a first look at their names:

The Rubenesque body type from a poll we held earlier this year won by a landslide for our next large scale base (like Opulence), but that will come when things are 100% back to normal and we can put in the necessary time and energy (since those bases take literal days to complete). We're always open to new ideas for any base you might want to see though, so feel free to reach out with your thoughts!

Upcoming comm openings:

We deeply hope we can open comms sometime this month, but we're fully aware that it may have to wait until October, depending on how things go. As you can see on the calendar above, we don't have a comm opening scheduled in, because we don't want to plan for it and fail to deliver. But we are more than willing to change the schedule if the time for a full comm batch becomes available.

I think that's about all we have in the realm of updates. In closing, thank you to everyone who has been so sweet and patient with us. We didn't expect the kind of hit we took in the middle of this year, but we roll with the punches. Always! And y'all have proven that you roll with them alongside us too, which will always mean the absolute world to us! 💖

We're super excited though!

My aunt had surgery on June 30 and again on July 2. Both on her spine, first through her throat and then through her neck/upper back. We are amongst the very few family members with a flexible schedule, and things have been hectic since June 30. She's coming home from the hospital today, and we're making final preparations for that. Its both sooner and later than we've expected throughout the process, which is to say that we haven't known which way is up for about a week or so now.

Starting tomorrow, we'll be working from her apartment through the morning, afternoon, and evening for the next... ???? No clue.

I have no idea how much or little time this is going to take throughout our work days. But she can't do hardly anything for herself for the first while.

Please just know we're doing our best to balance this with work and relaxation -- god knows we need it -- and everything is coming in due time.
