So I'm sure you've probably heard about recent admin changes with the third party ads and whatnot...

I think this is the nail in the coffin for me. Gonna be taking my art elsewhere. I'm not anti-porn but there's no reason the site owners have to resort to putting live action, third party porn ads on this site if it's an art site and not just a porn site. They can do far better and I agree with the more professional artists here who are saying that this is just a taste of things to come.

That, and of course the (lack of) management of problem content, and the slapping violent/harassing users on the wrist instead of banning them as they should have been a long time ago has just shown time and again that the admins care more about their furry clique garbage people than professional artistry and a healthy and positive community.

Anyway, sorry if this is a disappointment to some of my followers, but I'd rather not associate my art with some of the content that is appearing in these ads.

You can find me on Weasyl, under the same username. I'll be posting my art up there in the coming weeks. It's gonna take a little time but please have patience!

Sometimes I think I've seen it all...but the front page always challenges my notions of that.

I doubt there will ever be a time when the fandom ceases to astound me with some of the things it can create. No offense intended--I find it very fascinating to say the least. The more different and unsettling the art, the more interesting for me as someone who enjoys studying people and their creations.

Keep being you, fandom. Though I have a love/hate relationship with some of the cliques of people within this subculture, I do still find it entertaining and thought-provoking.

FURRY DRAWING CHALLENGE! I want everyone to help me out with this!

You get to pick one animal, and I will attempt to draw it as a furry. It can be extinct, mythical, or living now, BUT--It has to be an animal that is uncommon in the fandom. For example: No wolves, lions, otters, huskies, bears, tigers, etc. But you could totally suggest a thylacine, a muskrat, a shar pei, a sloth bear, or a lynx. I just don't want to draw typical or generic animals.

Karata is an OC of mine (not my fursona) who watches over certain parts of my mind universe to ensure that the Avatars don't cross over into the outerlands. Yeah that doesn't really help you--just know that info will come and Karata is pretty much a BAMF.

(The Avatars are creatures that represent emotions, states of mind, important events, or psychological phenomena in my head.)

So... I wish I had more time to make a couple con badges for myself for MFF this year. Sadly I can't.

But that's cause I'm working on my Karata hoodie. Not sure if it will be 100% finished but it will be wearable at the very least. Trying to finish it as much as I can before Thursday.

Woo-hoo! I'm finally opening up commission slots....Sort of!

By "sort of" I mean that I need to figure out pricing and what sorts of things I'm going to be offering. I'm going to open up X amount of slots at a time to ensure I get things done in a timely and ordered fashion, and not overwhelm myself.

So, after doing some calculations, I've realized I have one base fursona, plus 4 variations of that, plus 12 sub-variations of those, plus 192 sub-sub variations of those. This is only covering one universe of me. There are three other universes with just as many forms that I will never know, because those three are the me that cannot be, the me that was never me, and the me that is the opposite of me, respectively.

It's all coming together and I'm making sense of all of the data I came up with one manic night long ago, in a pile of messy notes. I am turning it into something intelligible so I can explain it to people. This will then turn into an atlas which will be a part of the bestiary of avatars.

I am not sure what the name of my universe is, yet. I have figured out that Falak is the keeper of Homebrew, which lies on the outskirts of my physical self's dimension (not the other three in the tetrad...still need to sort this). Bahamut lies in the center and he is the keeper of the singularity which lies at the point center of that particular dimension, or as it's being temporarily called, the god dimension. Bahamut guards the entrance to my mind. And no mortal shall pass without judgement.

My god dimension/mind's primary universe is shaped like an eye. At the border of the vastness of this realm is Homebrew, which is where the fractal atomical structure of this world begins to collapse from the sheer mass of data and matter that exists on the edge. It is nearly impossible to reach the edge on foot. You'd have to find a warp point. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) there are waypoints all around my mind. Sometimes you have to watch where you are walking. They can be found everywhere and unexpectedly. I'm not sure who creates them or who seals them, though. Maybe I should designate someone or something.

Also, Karata is going to cease to be a character in a storyline and instead is going to take a more proper place in my mind's universe. He's always really been a mary sue character, truthfully, a manifestation of the author in his/her own storyline. So I'm going to give him a proper home, finally. Not sure what that will be, though.

Maybe Seth should have a place, too. I'm not sure.

Maybe they'll all live here. Maybe Koro, too. Who knows.

I do kind of need people to inhabit this place, don't I?

Hmm...

The more I consider this fate for them, the more it makes sense.

For anyone who doesn't know wtf I'm talking about, I'm mapping my mind. I'm taking census, too.

The spooky part about this though is how much it perfectly comes together. And how much it fits with already existing symbolism, mythology, and iconography that already exists in our world. It's like it was meant to be, sort of. That, or my brain is on a subconscious level putting this all together very precisely.

The more patterns I find that fit perfectly in my system, the more I am amazed.

I call all of this "organic math." Adapted from some notes I took:

"Organic Math is the mathematic (and symbolic) language that governs my mind's multiverse. It is the coding that allows me to create and perpetuate myself with thought."

You will all see the product of all of this, the end result. I wish you could experience the uncovering of it all, the piecing together that I've witnessed over the years. It's astounding how much it fits so well together. The things in my life fit together so amazingly perfectly in my head. My brain fits together so amazingly perfectly, the representations of it do, anyway.

I wish you could experience how phenomenally astounding this is. Every time I uncover more data I am just amazed at how brilliantly it is coming together, falling together in a way.

You guys don't even know how cool this can be sometimes. Yeah whatever it's hell sometimes too. But sometimes it's really cool. I wish I could take you all to this place...

The best part about this is that it mirrors existence in that it is a fractal. Everything about it is a fractal in some way. I like to see reality as a series of fractals, that everything is connected, that many or all things can be parallels of one another, and that everything is everything.

Anyway, more on this eventually.

Got back from Anthrocon 2012 the other day. Finally will be uploading some art here. Much of it is older, so bear with me. I'm going to do my best to put a "First drawn in 20XX" for the older works.

Much of this stuff is from my deviantart account. In the future I'll be posting new artwork to both my dA and this account. As it stands the majority of my artwork will be at dA, but I'm picking some of the better works and works that represent my style the best for this site.

Hopefully I'll be doing more anthro stuff in the future too. It's not something I've really focused on, although my art does have elements of that from time to time. I guess my biggest thing is fantastic creatures and made up characters resembling monsters and demons that live in the imaginary world inside my head.
