General | Posted 3 years agoIt's less than 36 hours to go until it's 2023.
2022 has been an another year of craze. I've always been occupied and haunted by my busy last minute work schedule. So I appreciate all the cute floofies and folks that have talked with me and the ones I've hung out with. <3 I'd love to hang out and talk with folks more. But I'm just a fuzzy brained dork that simply forgets stuff from 5 minutes ago, meanwhile I can still recognize roller coasters by just seeing a bit of track. xD If you do want to talk or hang out more in 2023. Hit me up <3
As for useless coaster stats. This year I've ridden a total of 386 laps on 106 roller coasters, of which 42 coasters were new for me! In total I've ridden 1452 unique roller coasters worldwide. Not a big increase since last year, but then again. Work had picked up again.
My favorite new coaster from this year? Easily Megafobia in Oakwood, what a beast. <3 Took me 15 years to finally ride it. Still didn't let me down!
As for my favorite(s) ridden from this year? Kondaa at 39 rides <3 Megafobia at 19 rides. Then Ride to happiness, Loup Garou, Silver Star, Speed: No Limits, Smiler, Dragon Khan, Shambhala all follow shortly after. <3

Looking back to 2020 and forward to my a 2021 dilemma...
General | Posted 5 years agoWe all know 2020 has been a weird year. But now looking back on it, I can be quite grateful on everything that happened so far. As even due the virus stuff screwing over a bunch of stuff. Still a lot of positivity happened for me.
I started my year off with a bang, celebrating new years eve on a fur con was great and the moments in the bar are just memorable. Right after the con, I boarded a plane and finally revisited Florida for my Rollercoaster fix. Met some amazing people and enjoyed it fully with a bunch of new ride experiences added to my list.
March was bizarre month. The virus stuff slowly rolled in closer and closer. Still optimistic of everything I still visited some good friends in Canada and really hoped Furnal Equinox could continue. Sadly this wasn't the case and with the virus threat getting bigger and closer. Eventually drove over 2000km to a different airport so I could fly directly home.
If it wasn't for the virus stuff, lots of fun planned stuff would have happened at FE. But then again, now due the virus I've had the chance for a roadtrip that otherwise wouldn't have happened like this.
Back home, all the typical stuff happened. Most people going crazy, others went out of job. But for me. It's been a moment of rest and relaxing. The tourism sector I work in, was completely down, thus me having no actual work to do and I was actually very content with that. We all kept our hopes up this is was only for a short duration, but suddenly that empty agenda was really lovely to have. Normally I'd come back home from a trip and immediately I'd have to go back to work for about 6 days a week, averaging 10-13 hours a day.
This moment of rest got longer and eventually after about 3 months of nothing. We got temporarily rerouted to support the public transport. Again, new experiences opened up and it was great being actually out and do some stuff again. In between I did a few small roadtrips to a few themeparks. Some being very positive in their way of dealing with the virus. Others sadly quite negative. Luckily, my common sense kept me healthy so far.
The virus kept pestering the world and the inevitable thing happened: Half our company got laid off. With perfect timing, the work we did for public transport moved over to a different company and they were actually looking for people with experience in that area. Providing a smooth working transition for me.
Now the work has been on and off, which is nice as I actually get some time to work on myself as well. Finally been exercising more and actually have some time to work on the huge list of stuff I wanted to do. With all those months that happened, it's amazing to see a small dent in the to-do list.
Yet now, at the start of 2021. I notice it's really hard to make a proper dent in my to-do list. As I start to notice that even with all the additional free time I have, I just want to do too much. I have so many things, with some being just an endless circle:
- I want to continue losing weight and get back in shape.
- Make a dent in that huge list of unplayed games on steam/epic games store.
- Replay and/or just finally finish playing many of the other games.
- Improve my drawing skills.
- Keep up with my social circles and friends.
- Finally get around to post more of all the fursuit pictures I own.
- Reload on social fun and experience new stuff.
- Improve my skill in various rhythm games and compete in competitions again.
- Fixing/repairing/cleaning some of the plushies in my house.
- Finally work on some suiting ideas I have.
- Etc, etc, etc...
Basically the list goes on and on. I already am prioritizing stuff, but being stuck with some of those endless circles. I feel it'll never shrink down. Then again, I don't want to drop social contact either as I already feel I'm neglecting it too much... Really, I am amazed at some of the people keeping up with their social media and fan base. How they do it? I don't know.
These 2021 struggles are probably going to get bigger again as soon as work properly takes off again...

Even more plushier than I already was!

Some already realized, some even already experienced it. But for the folks who have been following my twatter and such. I've gotten even plushier than I already was recently! My fursuit/plushsuit from Ran / Ranfox (Whatever you prefer to call him), actually arrived and has already had some fun at my most recent con: EAST9 in Germany! <3 It's built by a fabulous local maker called
wemightbitecostumes and this is their 2nd plush type of suit they've ever done. Be sure to check them out! <3
Now the biggest dilemma kinda appears though. I kinda want to space out the fursuit stuff from all the fun and weird arts I commission for Ran. But I have already moved Beat and plushpopsicle to a separate account. But also on the other hand, this is me and will stay me! So I want to keep my stuffy suity boi on here too to keep the character stuff together!
So followers, lurkers, random bypassers and everything in between:

General | Posted 7 years agoThis is one that goes down in the category: "Time flies when you're having fun.". It feels like yesterday that I still was packing for this con and now it's already over!
As it usually goes with any con for me. Been way too busy to actually visit some of the events. I only walked in the inflatables for a short bit, but since it was quite hot in the room I didn't stay too long. I mostly spent my time cuddling and hugging all those cuties around the con. <3
If anyone has pictures of both beat and plushpopsicle. Please share them as I'd love to see them. <3
I've had some good pre-con fun as well in Blackpool and Lightwater Valley. If anyone is ever in those areas. Definitely pay a visit. Blackpool stays a fantastic bunch of classic coasters and The Ultimate is just insane as it does stuff that modern designers wouldn't even dare to think off. xD

But omg, I've had so much fun at EF24! Ran around as usual, finding a ton of cute suiters. I've probably been more out of suit compared to last year. Too busy shooting pictures and hugging all these cute floofs! ~<3 Also all the foodplans with everyone took so much time, missed out a few events due this. But none-the-less it was super fun!

After EF22 report
General | Posted 9 years agoOkay, It's been a few weeks further since EF22 and PCD slowly seems to crawl away.
EF22 in general was fantastic! Had a good time meeting a bunch of new people, new friends and of course, catching up with existing friends!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay in the hotel, but the walk to our apartment wasn't too long. In suit it was about 5 minutes maximum. (As it was located near the S-bahn station.) Next year definitely going to try to get in the hotel. It's not that comfy on walking after midnight back to our place. (Although the luxury of a full apartment was lovely! <3 )

Fursona meme~

• What are the names of your fursonas?
I have 2 sona's atm. My first one is called Ranfox and the 2nd one is called Beat.
• Where did the name of your Fursona's come from?
Ranfox came from a mix of one of my favorite game character in Touhou Project. Ran Yakumo. and fox. Not really original whatsoever. ^^;; But it's the nickname that's been used for me for about the last 5-6 years, so I stayed with that. ^w^
Beat's name came from his likes of music and music games.
• What species are your fursonas and why did you choose that species?
Both are foxes, with Ranfox being the more generic fox looking one. Beat is more some kind of mix between a red fox and fennec fox, having larger ears and a pretty long and thin tail.
• What color are your fursonas and why? Hair/fur/eye/etc
Ranfox is corn yellow and white, with yellow/blonde hair. Blue eyes and black pawpads. I went for a bit the generic fox looks but then slightly off with the colors.
Beat is 2 shades of Red and white with blue eyes and black hair. Ears and the front side of the face is some darker red, with the rest being normal red. Fingers and toes are white, same goes for the tip of the tail. Several white stripes on the body in a certain pattern around the white belly. Why is a bit hard to explain. Did a good while on trial and error on this before finishing it the way I liked it. ^^;;
• What are your fursona's personalities and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Ranfox is a bit the crazier side of me, he's into tf/tg and all that sorta stuff. Although he's lately more hanging around as a stuffed toy or pooltoy. x3 He loves cuddles and everything that's fun, basically he's just a fun loving toy. ~w^
Beat is more the gaming/music geek side from me. Loving pretty much every music genre and adore playing games. Especially if they are Rhythm games!
• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
For Ranfox it's the love for plushies. Just can't resist them. <3
With Beat it's the love on rhythm games. <3
• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
I would hug Ranfox in a possible never ending hug. For Beat I would challenge him to a duel in various games. >:3
• How has your fursona changed over the years?
It's been over 3 years ago since I let someone draw Ranfox. After that he lost his glasses and lost the white on his arms. But remained mostly the same. (Except that he's a lot softer in appearance since the last half year or so. x3 )
Beat is only a little over half a year old. (Add few months more if you include the entire designing process)
• How long have you had your fursonas?
Ranfox is a little over than 3 years old on paper. But in my head he existed for about 4-5 years?

Ranfox is a bit the crazier side of me, he's into tf/tg and all that sorta stuff. Although he's lately more hanging around as a stuffed toy or pooltoy. x3 He loves cuddles and everything that's fun, basically he's just a fun loving toy. ~w^
Beat is more the gaming/music geek side from me. Loving pretty much every music genre and adore playing games. Especially if they are Rhythm games!
• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
For Ranfox it's the love for plushies. Just can't resist them. <3
With Beat it's the love on rhythm games. <3
• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
I would hug Ranfox in a possible never ending hug. For Beat I would challenge him to a duel in various games. >:3
• How has your fursona changed over the years?
It's been over 3 years ago since I let someone draw Ranfox. After that he lost his glasses and lost the white on his arms. But remained mostly the same. (Except that he's a lot softer in appearance since the last half year or so. x3 )
Beat is only a little over half a year old. (Add few months more if you include the entire designing process)
• How long have you had your fursonas?
Ranfox is a little over than 3 years old on paper. But in my head he existed for about 4-5 years?

• Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Yes <3 On personality they are pretty much both who I am. But I would love to get their appearance somehow. <3
On TV at 3fm Serious Request
General | Posted 10 years agoSaturday we have been cosplaying and fursuiting for charity for 3fm serious request. People could take photo's with us in suit, for a small donation of minimum 2 euro's! At the end of the day we have collected €352,- in Utrecht. On top of that another €264,- in Zwolle! The total amount we collected was almost twice as much as we hoped for! A camera crew from 3fm came by as well and we've ended up in a small article on tv. I took the opportunity to take a quick video of it:

In between both days I will be going party hard at Deshima Sounds in Arnhem. After that I'm crashing at a friend who lives nearby.

There were plans on going as Kagerou Imaizumi, but because of timestress and such I doubt I'm going to finish this before the fair. So I will mostly be strolling around casually or recognizable with furry ears/tail and such. :3
