I've been getting into balloon and inflation stuff, a new kink I'd like to indulge in. But this is where my problem lies, I love a lot of inflation stuff, but have never gone about inflating Ranpan, and I'm currently drawing a blank when it comes to ideas with him. None of you are obligated to do free art/gift art, but I'd appreciate it, if someone who watches me and specializes in inflation would draw up a pic of Ranpan inflated. You have full creative control, just keep it SFW and Ranpan toony, I want to see how my fursona looks inflated and use it as a point of reference.

I have an announcement to make… I am taking Ranpan and my characters out of New Grump City, and leaving behind the world of Bugsnax. I dunno, I feel keeping my characters in the world of Bugsnax is limiting them, and I don’t have a lot of motivation to create new OCs for established characters I don’t feel much of an attachment towards.

Ranpan was originally my take on the Journalist, but he’s evolved so far past that, and he is ME, a character that is very personal to me.

Nobody is really talking about Bugsnax anymore, you don’t see much fan art about it either nowadays. Besides Filbo, I really don’t have much of an emotional attachment to the other characters, so why create OCs that are to be children of established characters that I don’t have any interest in?

Ranpan as he is, a tubby cartoon dragon just doesn’t fit the world of Bugsnax. As much as I love paw beans, the characters only have three digits and lack opposable thumbs. That’s one reason why I decided to “Toonify” Indigo and Nugget, and so it looks more realistic when they’re holding stuff.

So, what does this mean for Filbo? If you think it means he’s no longer going to be used, think again. He’ll be my own version of him, a mix between an OC and an established character, he’ll still be Filbo, but he’ll be Toony like yours truly and the boys. Can’t wait to have a Toony Filbo appear in my gallery.

Ranpan and his family are gonna be moving out, to a new stomping ground. This’ll allow me to create original characters, introduce new species for my boys to interact with, like one of their friends could be a Toon raccoon. I’m thinking of a name to call my fictional city. Discovery Park, Dragon Lake, R-Town (a little nod to Rocko’s Modern Life’s O-Town)? If you leave a comment, what name do you think is a good fit?

When it comes to their jobs, Ranpan is still going to be a police officer and Filbo will of course be the mayor of said city. Anday will remain Ranpan’s dutiful squad car.

Personality: A clumsy, accident-prone doofus that can’t seem to do anything right. He can be quite a coward, despite being immortal. But is talkative and sociable, he and Ranpan are the best of friends. Anday is deeply loyal to him. He tends to get flustered whenever his gas pedal is pressed, making his radiator overheat, though he swears it’s not a blush. Struggles, but tries his best. Loves his new form and isn't interested in changing back.
Likes: Ranpan (best friend), Being Driven, his Car Form, Donuts, Praise, Catching Criminals.
Dislikes: Overheating (it’s not a blush), Messing Up, Flat Tires, Farting (secretly likes it when Ranpan farts on his seat).

His Transformation: It happened when he tripped, having forgotten to tie his shoes and landing right on Ranpan’s butt, getting caught in one of his farts. It was a quick and painless transformation, and when the gas had dissipated, he was a cartoon squad car. Despite the shock, he adjusted quickly, becoming Ranpan’s squad car and best friend. Ranpan swore to find a way to return him to normal, but Anday shot it down, growing to love his new form, though he wishes Ranpan wouldn’t fart in him as he’s worried about the slim possibility of being turned back to normal.

Toon Powers: Speed, Stamina, Practical Immortality.

He acts as a surrogate parent to the Beepers, although they like to rope him into their mischief, with Indigo having made multiple copies of his key. He wishes Indigo wouldn’t drive him, he’s a lot wilder at the wheel, and likes to make him overheat.

Immortality: As Toons, Ranpan and Zephyr are functionally immortal, although they still age. Ranpan will look the same forever, while Zephyr will continue growing until he reaches adulthood. Ranpan can feel pain, though he responds to it like a cartoon character would, and while he can be hurt, he heals from injuries fast. The only surefire method to kill him is with Dip. Filbo, Indigo, and Nugget also obtain this immortality.

Flatulence: It’s no secret Ranpan is a very gassy dragon, a result of his diet and just being a natural born fart machine. All three of his Beepers also inherited it, with Indigo being the gassiest of the trio with his farts being almost as rank as his papa’s.

Toonification: Indigo and Nugget get transformed into Toons after getting caught in one of their dad’s farts, altering their appearance and giving them powers of their own such as strength, speed, stamina, fast-healing, and practical immortality. It also further exaggerates their personalities, with Nugget becoming even more mischievous and hyperactive, and Indigo’s gassy and lead foot tendencies being amplified, he’s gonna mash Anday's gas pedal so hard, it’ll be crushed through the floorboard. Filbo also undergoes Toonification.

I’m making a big push to really flesh out my characters, define them more, and put my foot on the pedal to really convey the cartoony and zany direction I want to take my world and characters.

Ranpan, my sona, he’s undergone a few small changes. For one, I’ve decided to change his secondary color, the light green on his underbelly, spikes, tail tip, and horns to blue, to match his dimples and stripes on his snoot. Secondly, I’ve also given him a haircut because the one he had wasn’t gelling with me, and I wanted to give him a cleaner hairstyle that’s still zany and over-the-top, so he’s got a hairstyle that resembles Zenith’s, but different in its own way. The green eyes are pretty self explanatory.

As for how this new change came about? Ranpan’s farts can affect him, and when he farted and got caught in one of his stink clouds, his gas gave him a makeover.

The blue is to pay homage to Ranpan’s past as a Grumpus, since he was a purple-furred one with a blue nose and paw pads. The haircut and eyes are to pay homage to ManicStarDragon’s sona Zenith, and his toony style that I adore.

I’ve got some SFW pics of Ranpan in the works, to show him in his updated look, both in his casual street clothes and his police uniform. This is to serve as reference material when I can get some commissions drawn hopefully soon.

Next thing on the docket, I’m gonna strive for a more 90s aesthetic and focus on originality, which means John Deere will play less of a role in future pics. I want my characters to look and feel like they’re from a 90s Disney cartoon, the shows Goof Troop and Bonkers being a big inspiration for me. If only Disney would release the latter series on DVD.

Indigo’s definitely going to get a new change of clothes. He’s keeping his new red cap. But he’s going to be rocking more city orientated clothes, something to wear when he and his siblings go back to school. I’m thinking of some long pants that aren’t jeans, footwear that ain’t boots, and a t-shirt, one that’s colorful and has a cute pedal design to it, to show off his desire for putting the pedal to the metal.

Nugget’s gonna stay the way he is, I like his standard outfit just fine. The red t-shirt he wears that’s a nod to Zathura is a nod to me since I grew up with that movie, and I like the character Wedgehead. Same for the rubber wristband he’s got on.

Zephyr’s likely going to stay the same as I’m content with his outfits. He will show up in more pics throughout the coming months, including one that shows his struggles fitting in, though Indigo and Nugget assure him that even if he is different, they still love him all the same. It’s a cute brotherly love idea that shows the bond all three have to each other.

I’ll go over why I’m a big fan of ManicStarDragon, and have such a strong attachment to his sona. I stumbled upon his page in early 2023 where I fell in love with his art style. He also liked to draw dragons and was a fan of Spyro, two things of which I’m a big fan of. He's my favorite artist on Fur Affinity. Out of all of the art and characters he’s crafted, I feel the strongest attachment for Zenith. I remember when he uploaded the ref sheet for his sona, giving him a definitive name and look. His dragon-sona was ADORABLE! It resonated with me on such a deep, intimate level. The cute face, pear-shaped body, that big, soft tail that I wanted so badly to be wrapped up in, and he was purple! The hair, eyes and eyebrows, snoot, ears, horns, body, scales, and tail, all of it struck a chord. When I look at Zenith, I wish he was real so we could be friends. Part of me wishes I were still a kid, and Zenith was there, hugging me, my head nestled against his leathery plush-like hide, feeling his arms holding me in a tender warmth, as I look up to see that cute friendly smile while he nuzzles my forehead with his squishy snoot. Zenith is a comfort character for me. Whenever I see new art of him, my heart overflows with joy. I can’t get enough of him. I love Zenith.

I have the utmost respect for Manic and his characters. I love all of his artwork, it’s that good! If you like toony dragons, a jolly Halloween werewolf, a toon bunny and his childish gremlin clone, or cool bee, please give him a watch. Part of that attachment comes from the fact I’ve always loved dragons. The first How to Train Your Dragon movie is my favorite animated film. I used to own multiple Mega Bloks playsets that had knights and dragons. I also grew up playing the Spyro games, Enter the Dragonfly (barf) and A Hero’s Tail being my exposure to the classic purple dragon, and my first ever Spyro game was the GBA version of TLOS: A New Beginning that I got for my 13th birthday.


And I can’t get enough art of dragons, be they chunky, or toony, I love dragons!

You read the title, I’m thinking of making some small changes to my draggy-sona. Why? You could say it’s a bit of inspiration from one of my favorite artists, who has been doing a Gremlinization series with their characters. I’ve been loving these artworks, and their newest one with their bunny character Spec really got me thinking, “should I give Ranpan green eyes?”

Now what am I looking to change? Some of the colors. He’s got blue dimples and two blue stripes across his snoot. I’m thinking of having his underbelly, tail tip, horns, spikes, and the small circle on the middle of his feet changed to blue. When Ranpan was still a Grumpus, he had a blue clown nose and paw pads. Next? His hair. I’m thinking of having the back cut, and the front of his hair just a wee bit longer and thicker, just a tiny bit. I want him to have a haircut more in line with how draws hair on his characters. Ranpan’s still going to wear a cap, of course, but anytime he’s wearing a hat, his hair is just going to stick out the front from now on. And lastly? I’m looking to change Ranpan’s eyes from golden yellow to green. Something about the green eyes I just find very appealing, like in Spec’s Gremlinization that created Munch, I just really like his green eyes, and I’ve always liked them on Zenith.

I’m thinking of leaving a little connection to Ranpan’s old life as a Grumpus, but making him purple and blue instead of purple and green, as well as give him a shorter, more clean, and less messy looking haircut. And the green eyes are self explanatory.

Those are some of the changes I’m looking to make for Ranpan. I’ll try and implement them into a piece soon. Life: After the events on Snaktooth Island and Ranpan’s firing from the GNN, the two were ready for a fresh start. They got married shortly after Filbo won the mayoral election. Ranpan took up a job on Wambus’ farm where he could use his natural talents to keep pests away. They had two children, Indigo and Nugget Fiddledye, and a few years later, Ranpan was transformed into a zany cartoon dragon after exploring the ruins of a mansion that belonged to an eccentric cartoonist. Even though Ranpan was no longer a Grumpus, Filbo didn’t care, he loves his husband no matter what form he’s in. But this new form came with a few unexpected surprises, and one of them was the birth of their third child, Zephyr Peridye. In addition to the new look, Ranpan also got a new job, becoming a cop under a special division of the New Grump City PD. With magic and zany cartoony shenanigans always afoot in their household, there is never a dull moment in the Peridye-Fiddlepie household. Ranpan and Filbo bring out the best in one another, and have not only a deep love for one another, but love their Beepers more than anything. They all live in the mayor’s mansion, though it’s not that anymore after Ranpan farted and transformed it.

Species: Magical Cartoon Dragon (Beeper)

Personality: The whimsical albeit shy and socially awkward dragon that has trouble fitting in. Zephyr is jumpy and easily frightened, but does his best to be friendly and polite with others. But underneath that shy exterior, he’s fiery and determined behind the wheel, feeling his inhibitions cracking to show a dragon itching to put his foot down on the gas. He’s got a love for music, owning a sousaphone, listening to music on his Walkman, and collecting cassette tapes. He can be playful with his brothers. The youngest and comically the tallest, he likes to toot his own horn quite literally I might add.
Likes: Playing the Sousaphone, Watching Cartoons, Video Games, Farting (he likes to fart), Magic, Driving, Collecting Cassette Tapes.
Dislikes: Thunderstorms, Not Fitting In, Being Snuck Up On, Shadows, Bugs, Zaps (Joy-Buzzers)

Character Trivia: An introvert.

Gassiness: Being the children of Ranpan, all three are excessively gassy, with Indigo being the gassiest of them. All of them love to fart, have stinky farts, and in the case of Zephyr, he can fart bubbles that reek!

Life: They live in an over-the-top cartoony mansion that used to be the mayor’s estate until Ranpan after having three bean burritos farted and transformed it. It’s more like a zany fun house, but cozy on the inside. Ranpan and Filbo are fair and easy going parents, though Ranpan is a bit zany. They spoil their sons, perhaps a little too much. The boys love and respect them, even though all three of them can be rambunctious scamps, they do their chores, get their homework done, and are typically in bed at their bedtime. Ranpan and Filbo encourage their boys to be themselves, with Filbo telling the boys to have a positive outlook on life, be friendly, and to try their best.

Extra trivia: Zephyr was born after Ranpan had become a dragon and after an intimate night with Filbo, in which he discovered he could reproduce asexually. He had a spell cast on himself to ensure this wouldn't happen again as three kids were enough, and he didn't enjoy the process. And while Zephyr is a magical cartoon dragon, he does have a little Grumpus DNA in him.

But while the site was in read-only mode, I finally broke 100 Watchers! It took over four years on my old account to reach that number, although to be fair, I didn't really start uploading to that regularly until the end of 2022. But here, in a little over five months, I've reached that number and surpassed it a little. Thank you guys so much for all the faves, comments, and watches on my content, I appreciate all the support and for making me feel welcome in the furry community.

I got done re-posting a few art pieces from my old page here. I've been considering this for a while, as this is a new page, a fresh start for me in the fandom, and I've gotten a lot of new followers, I figured what the heck?

I'm hosting my first Ask me anything.

So, if there is anything you'd like to know about me, be it my Dragon-sona, or when he was Grumpus, my inspirations, interests, kinks, favorite shows, what music I like, all that. Fire away, have fun, and by all means, y'all can be a little nutty with some of your questions. You can ask me general questions about who I am.

Let's have fun with this, if you respond, I'll answer any questions you have to the best of my ability.

I won't be moving here officially until Jan. 1st, but thought, I'd go on ahead and post an introductory journal.

I'll go ahead and explain my reasoning for this move. I didn't like my username (at the rate FA is going with implementing updates, I'll be a century old by the time they add the option). And another thing, I wanted a fresh start for both myself and my characters.

My plan for 2025 is simple, more art involving my characters. New looks for both Indigo and Nugget, and more art of my newest character, Zephyr. I also want my characters to be seen like cartoon characters, being overly wacky and zany, cuddly, and rocking that cartoon style. Ranpan, Indigo, and Zephyr will be the characters that'll be on the chunky side. Nugget will have a fairly fit body type. I don't want all of my characters to be fat, as that'll be derivative and boring. There will be some indulgent pieces of Ranpan and his kinks and stink. Also, even though Ranpan as a Grumpus is mostly retired, you'll still see an occasional art piece of him in that Grumpus form. Filbo will be around too, though I'm going to change his story, and give him a new look.

There might be some artwork that doesn't involve Ranpan and my Beepers. I would like to get an art piece of that unnamed Beaver from Courage the Cowardly Dog "A Beaver's Tail" as he's a character I do fixate on a bit.

The art you'll see will take some inspiration from and as I love their styles. I also plan to buy some more commissions going into 2025. I'd love to see Manic draw my Beepers in his style.

And finally, I'm going to stop posting journals for the most part. Why? Because journals on here aside from "commissions" and "streaming" announcements are pretty worthless. Nobody seems to read them, I barely get comments, and more often than not I feel like I'm just "speaking into the void" when making them. Why go through the trouble of posting a journal if hardly anybody is going to bother reading it? I'm not venting, just stating facts. And I'm cool with it as it means more time to comment on art pieces.

I would like to see more engagement on the art I'll upload here in the future, with comments being appreciated. I promise to respond to them. :)
