Posted 2 years agoI have updated my custom prices as well as my profile.
I'm reworking my brand, both for adopts and commissions and I'm hoping to improve it and be able to count on this to bring food to the table and cover my needs, so far I'm not able to do that and I desperately need it to change.
I'm also taking suggestions for things you'd like to see, and this is very important to me as a creator so please don't be shy and tell me your ideas, if they're doable for me I will do my best to put them into practice. I really enjoy making art assets, but it's a bit of a new frontier to me, so I gotta be realistic about my skills, however, any and all ideas are encouraged, please leave a comment. Would you like brushes? (if so which kind), backgrounds? (which kind), something else? (what).

Prices have been updated and new options have been added for custom works.
Please take a look if you wish to work with me or are simply curious. I made them as comprehensive and clear as possible to avoid misunderstandings.
Remember that by purchasing from me, or anyone else, you adhere to mine or their TOS even if you did not read them, I always recommend taking the time to read them and only work with whom you feel comfortable doing business with!

News: Moving out
Posted 2 years agoI'm moving out tomorrow May 5th so things such as replies, sales and general business can be delayed more than usual as my ISP has up to 15 days to reconnect the internet.
As long as this is up I am not back. I will get back at those I can using my phone data but I will not be able to send adopt files as those are on my desktop computer that will have no internet access. Posted 2 years agoWhich color palettes do you enjoy more in horse adopts? Blacks? Reds? Greys? Dilutes? other?
Do you prefer light fur or darker fur? Spots, stripes, both, something else? Please comment I really need your input!
I make adopts as a side hustle but I'd like to make them more attractive.
Personally I'm not into fantasy but I might consider an attractive enough idea if you have it.

Posted 2 years agoSome people ask these questions here and over TH rather often so I figured I'd put this up.
• Where do you get your assets?
Many places, I don't keep track of them, I purchase or download and immediately forget. Some of them I make myself.
• Can you share xxxxx brush / xxxxxx base with me?
No, sorry. For bases they're credited, purchase them or get them directly from the artists. For brushes as I said, I don't remember where I got them at all.
• Why do you say "offer anything from xxUSD to xxUSD" instead of running normal auctions?
Because I'm not popular enough to run auctions. People are free to purchase for base price, autobuy or anything inbetween, and I've had generous customers paying even above AB. This also allows bidding to happen if for some reason two people want the same adopt. It may change in the future if I gain traction but for now I am open to taking any price between a stablished range on a first come first serve basis.
• Can you change the base from gender A to gender B?
If it has an option for it then yes, otherwise no, I'm sorry.
• Can you draw tack on this feral horse base that doesn't come with it?
No.
• Can you draw clothes on the nude bipedal bases?
Yes but it will cost extra.
• Which brush did you use for....?
Like I said, I don't remember.
• Why don't you provide with more direct means to contact you?
Privacy and safety.
• What other payment methods do you take?
PayPal invoices only. I won't take direct deposits nor provide my email address or paypal.me links as any payment sent through those can be refunded despite the goods being sent, I'm not stupid.
And no other payment forms besides PayPal.
• Can I use your adopts for NFT?
NO! No matter if the bases and assets used are mine or someone else's!
• Can I offer art for your designs?
No, unless your style is like

kairiver's. Art doesn't pay for bills or food.
• Do you trade for other adopts?
No, I'm extremelly picky with designs, the chance of me being interested are slim to none.
• Why are commercial rights free?
I think it's fair, you're paying for ownership over the design, you have the right to profit off what you own.
• Do you really do not require credits?
No. Imagine how cumbersome will it become to track me down for the next 10 years or idk, for as long as you own the design. Pain in the ass for you, save it.
• Why so many feral horses?
I'm obsessed with horse genetics & colors and that's sort of my jam. I can make anything but I enjoy making horses much more.
• You haven't gotten back at me in over a day.
Please hit up any of my mains. My main here is 
ignoredartist I'm a very busy person but I check my adopt accs daily or semi daily. If I don't get back at you through my main within 48hs something beyond my control happened.

Ghosting
Posted 3 years agoI do not want to sound too rude here, but I think it's basic courtesy to let someone know you changed your mind about business.
It's the third time I get ghosted in the span of a week, over here and TH, by people who say "I will buy" or similar.
I must be honest and say that it really irks me, to say the least. I'm totally fine with a "sorry changed my mind" or similar, but when someone ghosts me it really leaves a sour taste in my mouth, it's very rude, I count on the purchase for stuff I have to pay for such as medical care or other RL things, and it's like a smack in the face to be left hanging like that.
If you changed your mind BEFORE you paid me please tell me. I will not think ill of you or get angry, but I do not appreciate to be ghosted, please have basic manners, you wouldn't like it done to you if you were in my shoes.

I must say I LOVED a lot of the ideas you suggested, sadly I cannot do them all due to lack of time, but you're very creative people and I enjoyed reading everything you wrote. You also helped me realize some flaws the dynamic had, which I will improve next time!
Winners (yes, last minute plan change, there are two winners) will be contacted privately.
I plan of running more of these, because I enjoy them way too much. I also plan on giving away more stuff, like customs, draw/write to adopt scenarios, MORE raffles etc.
I love to give stuff away, it's sad that realistically I have to keep it to a manageable level. Stick by, there will be other chances.
And thanks to those who watched despite it not being a requeriment to enter my raffle.

Updating adopts rules
Posted 3 years agoI tweaked the general adoptable rules (what you can read on my profile or under each adopt's description) to include a couple new things.
I overhauled most of my adopts at Toyhouse, and I will at some point start overhauling all the adopts posted here. Current rules are visible in my profile description so you can check them out to make sure you're up to date. Will post another journal when everything has been set up to date, I've been (and still am) pretty sick, and I'm doing what I can lol.
Summary of what's been updated:
• I will not be drawing anything on base adopts. (Tack, different hairs, accesories, etc), this was already stated in my global TOS but figured I'd make it more visible.
• Do not delete adopts off of TH. (This seriously bothers me).

Posted 3 years agoI'm looking for suggestions for adopt designs, specially horses, colors markings, etc (realistic colors only, no greens, reds, pinks etc you get it)
Throw some photos at me to reference from, real horses strongly preferred.
If there's a species you would like to see feel free to lmk too, I'll do what I can (no promises, but i wanna know what the public wants)

Important TOS update
Posted 3 years agoFollowing a recent event involving people I will keep anonymous I've decided to make an important update to my terms of service. I never announce these as I change them as I see fit, but this is a major clarification I have to make.
The new point reads as follows:
• Designs based off existing characters must have enough differences with the original, to no to look as a ripoff or a recolor. I will not do designs based off existing designs that don't have enough changes to look completely original. The criteria to decide how many changes it should have or which those should be is mine, but among other things will have one or several of the following requeriments: Different primary color or palette, different markings, different hair, etc. Unsure? Ask.
Which means that if you want me to create a custom based off an existing design the requirement is that enough changes are allowed for the end result to not to look like a ripoff. I think it's pretty clear, I will make adjustments to this as I see fit.
Want a design inspired by another one and wanna know what changes I'd make to it? Send me the design and I'll brainstorm with you to make something you like and I deem appropiate, for free, no strings attached, don't like my idea? You don't have to pay unless you decide to go for it, in which case my entire TOS apply.
(The brainstorming does not include any kind of art, sketches or anything, just an idea exchange, in which you can decide if you want to work with me or not).
