It's been a while since I made a journal here, but I recently got signed up to join the staff of Anthrocon as a Community Manager! I've been an admin of the con's Discord server for 4 years now and I'll continue that role as an official staff member. I look forward to possibly doing other things for the con as well!

I got my second COVID-19 vaccine shot the other day. The side effects made me feel like I'm sick with the flu such as nausea, shivers, and an aching back. I ended up having to take a couple days off from work, but I'm starting to feel better now. The vaccine I got was the Moderna one.

Also, Megaplex is set to run in August this year. I've already registered, booked a villa, and got 5 friends staying in it with me. The con is currently going to require masks and have chairs spaced apart during panels and events among other things. I'm looking forward to finally getting to attend another con since the last one I went to was Texas Furry Fiesta 2020.

I'll be flying out tomorrow morning and can't wait to see everyone there!

Surprise! I've been working on remastering Doom's soundtrack in my spare time during the past few months and am finally releasing it. There are many new premium samples used in these tracks (Yes, that means they cost me money) along with various other ones. The game released 25 years ago today and the series is still going strong after the success of Doom 2016 and now the upcoming sequel, Doom Eternal, is looking great so far. I meant to make a journal about this sooner, but I just got into Chicago today and I'm at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare hotel where Midwest FurFest will be held. It's my first time here so I look forward to having a great time this weekend.

I live right next to Disney World so my area will be affected by it. It should be here by tomorrow evening. I'm staying at home with my family so I can make sure that everything goes well. Good luck to anyone else living in Florida!

This will be my second Megaplex after last year. They have moved it to a new hotel this year which is the Double Tree resort near Sea World in Orlando and it's supposed to be held there for the next few years. I'll be staying with a few friends in that hotel as well. I look forward to having a fun time. :3

I never did post a journal about it before, but the body of my fursuit had to be shipped back to Two-Faced Creations to be repaired and adjusted 2 weeks after I got it. The tail somehow got a hole in it which I noticed during FWA. Also, the arms and legs were a bit too short which is noticeable in some of the photos. The tail has since been fixed and the arms and legs were extended. I'll be able to upload more photos after I get it back.

I'm excited to say that I'll be going to Anthrocon for the third year in a row. This time, I'll be staying at a hotel in Pittsburgh with my friend  ajax_husky and a couple others. FWA did not have a fursuit parade so Anthrocon's parade will be the first one I participate in. I look forward to having fun and seeing friends there. :3

I was just recently messaged by the owner of Two-Faced Creations and she told me that she'll officially start on my fursuit on March 7th after returning from Comic-Con. She expects to have it delivered to me by early April just before FWA which I'll be going to, by the way. I'll be staying in a room with some local friends which are:

I am now 27 years old and will be going out to the Pirate Dinner Adventure in Orlando with my family later tonight. Should be fun since we've never been to it before. Also, last I heard about my fursuit, the head is currently being made so I'll probably be able to show that sometime soon. :3

Since early September, I've been working very hard to make payments on my fursuit commission from Two-Faced Creations. Now, I will finish paying for it this Friday and I'll be getting it a little later than expected. Work on it will start in January and I should get it in either February or March which will be great because I have plans to go to Furry Weekend Atlanta in April. While no work has been done on the suit yet, I have a few photos to share of some things for it.

I was originally just wanting a natural cheetah fursuit to be made, but my avatar in Second Life helped give me ideas for a character. The glow from his eyes were part of an eye texture mod I bought and it became something I really liked about him so I decided the suit's eyes should light up. I was told the color of the LED's is amber which should look pretty neat.

When I was at Anthrocon earlier this year, I was with my friend Nate whom I had met in Second Life and I learned that he's pretty good with electronics so he told me he could make a fan for my suit's head. The fan is powered by USB and the cable is a good length so I'll just need to get a USB power bank for it. Thanks to Nate for the great work he did on it.

Last, but not least, the mold which the head will be made from. This one was recently made brand new as the fursuit maker told me she'd been wanting to replace her old one. As you may guess by looking at it, the head is going to have a realistic appearance to it.

Yesterday, I commissioned Two-Faced Creations (www.twofacedcreations.com) to make a full digitigrade realistic cheetah suit for me. It was originally going to be just a plain natural cheetah, but I came up with a few other ideas for it such as hair and LED eyes. Work on it won't begin until about sometime in November, but it's expected to be done and delivered by January. I'll see about getting photos of it and sharing them here. :3

My mother just told me that her con man ex-boyfriend was arrested after he stole a woman's truck from a state up north then came to Florida with it. He was pulled over by the police and was arrested for driving without a valid license then he tried to resist arrest which added another $2,000 to the bail for a total of $4,000. I'm not sure if any other charges will be added against him at this point and I know I most likely still won't get my money back, but I'm glad this happened to this asshole.

Anthrocon is starting at the end of this month and I will be there again. I won't be staying in a hotel, but I'll be staying at a friend's house outside of Pittsburgh. You may see me wearing the cheetah mask in my profile submission on here and also I bought a cheetah tail from Clockwork Creature which I've had since after Anthrocon last year. We'll see if I can put up some photos of the con on here. :3

To celebrate the new upcoming DOOM game, I've released a new remaster of the first game's music available in MP3 and OGG formats! These tracks were made to sound like enhanced versions of the originals and I used new 24-bit samples which have not been heard in any of my previous work. There is currently no WAD file available and I may get around to doing Doom 2 and TNT: Evilution eventually, but we all know what game I'll be busy with for a while. If SnapMap is ever able to allow adding custom music to maps, then feel free to use these tracks in them. Download links below.
