Does anyone even use it to draw via the web with other artists anymore?

I've had a major itch to draw with some awesome peeps like yourself lately, but don't know if anyone even uses it to collab-doodle anymore. Am I so old and out of what's "in-the-know", or are y'all just moving onto younger, sexier programs now?

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

Wow, it's really been a long time since I've been on here. Like, almost an entire year. Can you believe that? A lot's happened to me in a year. I've graduated college and moved back home with my mom until I can find a full time job, and I've decided to finally pick up a pencil and sketchbook again for the first time in almost a year. Wow.

ANYWAYS, for those of you who are still my watchers and who haven't completely given up on me, you will be glad to find that I will be slowly be drawing again. I've put a majority of my images into storage since I feel they no longer represent my level as an artist or feel that it isn't really worth being viewed and I will be removing them permanently from my gallery slowly. I WILL, however, be adding new artwork to make up for it, so keep an eye out.

Since I am still jobless, I will be taking commissions again here soon once I get everything set up and organized.

I'm back and alive, and now that I have finally gotten my life scheduled and settled in, I am going to be taking commissions to try and help me raise money for myself and my roommates to go to Disney this year for Spring Break. We are wanting to take my friend Heather who has never been, and I want to be there to see her face light up when she sees Cinderella's castle for the first time. As I said in my last journal, I'm gonna be holding off taking commissions until I get settled into my new apartment. Moving and packing, topped with some unnecessary stress that has developed over the past few days, has made me really unmotivated to draw much of anything lately.

I probably won't really sit down to draw until I get my apartment settled and the way I like it, but we'll see where my motivation is thereafter. I'll be around lurking, but don't expect art from me for a week or so.

Woah dang! Drove to Ohio this weekend with my roomie Airchildstrega to see  kittn622!!!

I said it once and I'll say it again: Woah dang!

This weekend was AMAZING. The drive there was 3 hours (because we got caught in construction traffic, ick) but it was SO worth it omg. I've known Kittn for around a year now online, but this was the first time I had ever met her in person, and I've gotta say, she's one wild and crazy chick. I don't think I have laughed so much in a loooong time. Friday night we ordered pizza and sat around watching movies and drinking (btw, drive through liquor stores wut? =O!). Crawling onto the couch at around 4am, we all passed out and woke up some hours later the next day.

Saturday was full of fun as well. We went out to lunch at Bob Evans (omg yummmmm) and then spent the better half of the day sitting around watching MORE movies and for Kittn and I, arting. Airchildstrega doesn't draw, but she writes, so while Kittn and I were flipping out over Colette's new dreads (expect new ref soon), Airchild was busy writing, and that night consisted of watching funny/scary movies and more drinking. That day, we went to Halloween stores to find costumes for all of us (Kittn as a sexy army chick, Airchild as a sexy pirate, and myself as a 30's flapper xD)

Today was pretty much the same boat. Got up, and spent most of the time drawing before Airchild and I packed up and left :( It was very sad to go, but we have already been making plans to come visit again (hopefully this time  Nanuka will be able to catch a train down and chill too x])

Sooooooo tomorrow (Friday) my roomie and I are going to be driving the 2 hours to Ohio to crash  kittn622's place. I've never met her in real life, but over the past year or so that I've known her from dA, I have grown very close with her and she has always been one of the few people from this site I really want to meet irl. Well, this weekend is mine and the roomie's Fall Break at Uni, and we've decided to make the best of our time by drinking, arting, possibly karaoking, and all around good ole' fashion funning with  kittn622!!!

Needless to say, this journal is really to say that I probably won't have internet access for the weekend since (as far as I know), she's got no access at her apartment. S'right guys! I'm needing some money to help me with school this semester, and seeing as Commissions are kinda slow, I figured I'd offer up limited edition, tiny headshot badges!

Bad news, everyone. My desktop computer, the one that had ALL of my information and artwork saved on it, has crashed D: That means that commissions will be delayed until I can get my scanner/printer installed on my laptop (which may prove challenging since this laptop SUCKS), and that means no artwork from me until I get this settled. Hopefully after I buy my NEW laptop, I'll be able to get the scanner issue fixed and get some artwork up soon.

I will still be around to check journals/comments/etc, I just... won't be posting artwork much until this gets settled. Again, I am SO sorry for the delays in your commissions guys. It's been a hectic summer @_@
