Hello everyone. I am making this journal in an effort to add something to my general Terms of Service with usage of my characters.

It seems like once a year I get asked by someone who is wants to use my characters for an AI Chat Bot program. Normally I would feel flattered and honored that someone would want to use my characters in such a way. But after consulting with friends and a legal expert, my stance on such a thing will be, until I say differently, is this: I DO NOT consent to any kind of usage of ANY of my characters to be used in any kind of AI Chat Bot programs. Failure to comply with this ruling may lead to future legal actions being taking for potential copyright infringement.

For context behind my decision, the first time I was contacted about this was about September of last year with someone private messaging me saying that they were already partially way done with the chat bot program and wanted my input and feed back! They even sent me screenshots of responses they had programed of my Amber character. Being this was the first time I had ever been asked to be involved with any kind of AI project like this, I was a mixture of flattered and confused but also angry. While I doubt the person had meant it as such, after I had consulted with a legal expert, they had inadvertently committed copyright infringement. Fortunately, when I expressed my disapproval and requests to terminate such a project, the person complied and apologized. And I considered the matter closed.

But now I have had a second person ask me the same thing. Granted they said their AI Chat Bot project was still in the planning stages, and it's my own fault for not expressing this publicly. But my answer remains the same: NO. Simply, even after over 10 years since their first creation, I still don't have most of my character's personalities figured out. Fortunately online writer friends of mine have been very helpful in filling in those gaps for me, but and AI Chat Bot is a variable I can't control how it's developed or what it is ultimately used for. I know I may sound over-protective but these characters are one of the few things in my life that I can take pride in and are take credit for.

What is that makes people like my SCU dinosaur characters? This is a question I have asked myself a lot over the past year. Is it the interesting stories? The sexy ladies? The damsel in distress trope? I have been internally debating on what the future of SCU will mainly be and I want all of the fans to have a say. So the question I pose to all of you is,"Which would you rather see more of in the future: SCU art of a not fetish nature showing more of the characters in every-day type situations and world-building. Or SCU art of my sexy ladies in bondage/damsel in distress situations?"

This is input will help me give me a direction for future content on my pages. I ask that everyone who reads this, to please vote for one of these two options and also to give a reason why you choose that option. It humbles me immensely that my characters have such a following and I want you all to have a voice in their future. The only stipulation I make is that kink-shaming WILL NOT be tolerated and such comments will be removed.

I would like to apologize to all of my followers for my lack of uploads these past 6 months or so. Last summer life dealt me a rough hand. First was forced to quit a job I had worked tirelessly for 10 years due to disagreements with new management. I then intermediately bounced in and out of unemployment, during that time my financial situation became more and more dire, which led to almost crippling despair and depression. But fortunately at the start of May I was hired by a state university. Even though I was working again, I was having to drive an hour to and from work each day. I had no choice but to save my money until I could find an apartment in my new town, which I completed my move a couple of weeks ago. I am happy to report that I am adjusting well to my new home and am on the road to financial recovery, but that is still a work in progress. I thank you all for patience during this time, and I plan to start posting more adventures with my characters again soon. But since I am having to commission artist to draw those projects, they will take time. A new character will posted shortly and new adventure posted within the coming week or so.

Thank you all again for your continued support and a HUGE thanks to all my online friends who have helped be a vital part of my physiological support system during this time of crisis for me. You know who you are.

Due to community comments and talking it over with my fellow judge, prize money amounts will be paid out at the end of the art drive regardless of how many submissions we have. I apologize to my fans I let down in my last journal. Unfortunately I am dealing with a lot of personal issues right now and let something small and stupid affect the rest of you. So disregard my last post and I hope to post the submissions as they come in.

Well the 2022 SCU art drive has about a month left to go, and I have only received one completed fan fiction story. Which is honestly fairly discouraging. We had a bunch of people say "yes, a new art drive would be great", and yet some of those same people have giving me a "maybe" on whether they would participate or not.

Therefore, if by the deadline of the art drive, I do not have 5 separate submissions by 5 separate people, then I will be withdrawing the prize money winnings. That way there are enough people to judge from to determine a winner. I will not be handing out money to someone who wins by default do to lack of submissions.

Hi all you SCU fans. I have been considering holding another SCu Fan Art Drive but wanted to see if there was any interest in participating? This time there would be cash prizes to first and second place, the art drive would take place over 2 months, both artwork and fan-fiction stories would be allowed. Both DeviantArt and FurAffinity would be participating in the same art drive. Commissions by other artists would be permitted as long as you give credit to the original artist. Since I am unable to figure out how to currently make a poll here on FA. I ask that everyone please read this journal and leave a comment as a way of casting a vote. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

As I'm sure most of you have seen by now, I have made a few new characters that take place in a "fantasy" setting that is separate from my SCU characters and stories. My beautiful deer thief OC Diana and my mercenary rat Uriel. Don't worry, I am not "abandoning" any of my SCU characters. They are still around, I just felt like expanding my character base to more than just anthro dinosaurs.lol

Now, there will be two separate stories being released together with each other. One is called "Innocent Adventure", being done by my friend, SpiritAlpha has my girl Diana meeting his OC Ishi and their many misadventures together. And the other series is called "Mistaken Identity" being drawn by Lunarez which is a, for now, solo story of Diana's first job right after leaving the Thief's Guild and having a run in with the rat brothers Uriel and Ezechiel.

I hope all of you enjoy the stories as they are released and feel free to ask if you have any questions.

The 10 Year Anniversary SCU Art drive is official open. I would like to remind everyone that I am not holding this as a competition. This is an opportunity for all you SCU fans to get to gather and share your work with other people like yourself.

The rules are simple:
- The art drive goes from October 1st, goes all month and closes on October 31st at midnight.
- All submissions must be sent via a note to me. After which I will post the link in the Journal
- Both art and stories are permitted.
- You can submit more than one thing.
- You can either "re-draw" any piece of SCU artwork in my gallery in your own style. You can even do a "re-imagining" of them as well.
- You can also do your own "colored" version of any of the black and white art in my gallery.

Hello everyone. Next month will mark the 10 year anniversary of the creation of my SCU characters and their world they live in. I was curious if anyone would be interested in participating in a special "10 year Anniversary" SCU Art Drive? For the record, this is not an "excuse for me to see free art". This is a chance for fans and artists to show each other their work for characters they all enjoy. It really warms my heart knowing that so many people enjoy my characters and many of you have shared great artwork and fan fictions with me, and a few of them have even helped shape their personalities and the world they live in. So from the bottom of my heart, Thank You.

As for the art drive itself, the theme will be "Redraw/Color". Where you are encouraged to redraw any of my previous art in my gallery, or to add color to any of non-colored art. That idea is to encourage artists to redraw any of my art submissions in their own style or add a simple change to give it their own feel. And, not to leave the writers out, any authors can write out their own fiction about any of my arts that may or may not have a backstory to them.

Unfortunately there would be no "prize" this year. I simply can't afford to to give away prize money and that is simply not what this art drive is about. No one is "forced" or "pressured" into participating if they don't want to. I am just curious if this is something all you SCU fans would be interested in doing?

Hi everyone. For all of my fellow Pokemon fans out there I came up with something I think would be fun for people to try. I call it. the Pokemon Gym Leader Challenge. I as recently watching an older episodes of Pokemon with a younger family member that had Ash battling to get a gym badge and it had me wonder what kind of gym I might run myself. The idea and "challenge" as it were, is people will have to come up with a team of 4-6 Pokemon that they would use if they were running a Gym in the Pokemon universe. Seeing how all Pokemon gyms are themed off of a specific element type, all of your Pokemon must share the same element. No one is required to participate, I just had fund doing it myself and would like to see what other people would come up with. Seeing how I am not very familiar with some of the newer generations, I ask that you please list what type of Pokemon they are in your team.

There are a few rules though:
1st- NO Legendary Pokemon
2nd- No duplicate Pokemon in the same team.
3rd- All of your team must share at least one element that is your gym's theme
4th- No Mega-Evolutions

Here's my team to use as an example and the theme element for my gym is Steel.
1: Steelix- Steel and Ground
2: Magnezone- Steel and Electric
3: Empoleon- Steel and Water
4: Lucario- Steel and Fighting
5: Metagross- Steel and Psychic
6: Skarmory- Steel and Flying

Hi there everyone. Got a message to all you SCU fans out there so listen up!

I have been getting a lot of requests recently of people asking if they can write their own fan fiction stories about my characters So I decided it was time I posted my own terms and requirements when using my characters.

As a general rule, I require that before you do anything of your own involving my characters that you contact me first to get my permission. That includes,
A. Any fan fiction involving my characters.
- I like to be very involved in the story-making process, that way I can protect my characters from being portrayed in a way that I disagree with or they don't do anything I believe goes against their character.
B. Coloring or otherwise editing art pieces of my characters.
- I also like to be involved in this process so that I can help with any colors or references that person may need.
C. Use any of my characters in any of their own art pieces or commissions.
- This one is just common sense but wanted to get it out of the way.lol

I am in truth very honored that people are liking my characters this much but, like any good parent lol, I have to make sure they are protected. You can always contact me by note and I promise to respond as soon as possible.

Hi everyone. I've got a few questions for all you SCU fans out there. These are kind of random and I appreciate if you answer them honestly because I do appreciate the feedback.

1. I'm thinking about doing another SCU Fan Art Drive but I'm curious for suggestions on what the theme shoul be. Should it be just new art submissions like last time? SCU fan fiction submissions? Colored versions of any of my black and white pics in my gallery? Or does any one have any other suggestions?

2. Has anyone ever considered doing any SCU inspired cosplay? Maybe dressing like a SCU character or maybe even going something like a full furry suit? Maybe even make your own SCU clothing or gear?

Just as a disclaimer, if I decided to do the SCU Fan Art Drive again, there would be cash prizes like last time. But, also like last time, if not enough people participate then the prizes will be withdrawn.

Hi everyone. I was curious if any of my SCU fans have any ideas for pics of my characters? I AM NOT TAKING REQUESTS. I'm simply open to suggestions from the fans that might inspire a future project. Any of these ideas may or may not inspire a future artwork piece. It's up to me. Your ideas can be adult themed (i.e. bondage specific) or clean. I ask that in your ideas that you wouldn't have any of my characters doing anything that goes against their personality. For adult themed pics: no rape or weird fetishes (i.e. scat, inflation, ect. but feel free to send me a note if you're not sure). Also if you aren't comfortable displaying your idea in the comment section and want to discuss it with me privately, feel free to send me a note. These don't have to be full complete ideas, they can be simple concepts. So what ideas to YOU have?

The SCU fan art drive is now closed. Unfortunately not enough participated for any cash rewards to be given out. I admit that I am very discouraged that not nearly as many people showed interest as I had hoped. I understand that not all you SCU fans have artistic skills, and if any of you have another idea or way you would like to show your support, then leave a comment telling me what it is.
