I'm unsure if he needs more volunteers - he's got more hypers than he knows what to do with crawlin' all over 'im. X3 But it would'n hurt to go see! He's gonna make his choice August 1st.

I've got a couple of job interviews lined up, and my parents have said that if I pay fer 'em myself I can do whatever I want with a computer or cell phone... so here's to hopin'! And my mom found out she's got the full-time position at her school, so no more uncertainty! Hopefully it'll improve her mood.
I have one question, which could possibly prove... important later.
If someone were to... say, found a... social club catering to folks with (hyper?) abnormally over-sized posteriors, what would a good name for such a club be?

So you all remember... um, I mentioned we were moving furniture and all that? Well, I got most of my bedroom stuff replaced, but instead of the clever hiding place I had before, I was stupid and put every single one of my drawings, sketches, doodles and... reference materials [/i]in the back of my closet[/i] until I could figure out what to do with them. So about a week ago, my folks decided while I was out gem-hunting with my mom and sister at Hiddenite to clean up my room, and this involved...
Yep, cleaning out my closet.
So to make a long story short, all of my art, posted on here or otherwise, is gone. Even sketches and WIPs that I was working on. I'm lucky I was able to finish
's drawing and upload it before this happened.
So I've not had access to a computer all week... I've gotta apologize if anyone is expecting anything from me for awhile. Because all my... reference materials and WIPs and sketches are gone as well, there won't be any new stuff for an indefinite amount of time. At least until I can get my folks off my back. I won't be able to comment or even log into FA as much as I have been, so I hope you guys can understand if I don't reply very quickly to notes, comments, faves, and things of the like.

Not Sick but Still Out of It
General | Posted 14 years agoSo this previous weekend because my grandmother moved in with us we had to "re-decorate" a few of the rooms of the house with her furniture. The upside is, I got a bed that's got the approximate value and size of the country of Slovenia...
Made somewhere around the Eisenhower administration, it's so plush and amazing that I have gotten into a war with our three cats Emerald Blue and Leo over who gets to own it. So far I'm winning but that's only because there's fifteen feet of me and the cats don't like to get wet.
ANYWAY I had to move so much furniture, including a table made out of solid freaking marble and my back has yet to recover. It's hard for me to even sit up. UUUUUUuguuuuuuuu >.<
Point is, I'm feelin' better (not crampin' up from food poisoning anymore at least) but I'm not completely out of the woods yet.

The War of the Bird Feeders
General | Posted 14 years agoSo my family's been staying with my grandmother ever since moving back from Bizarroland Florida, and in that time between moving there and back, she's let her yard go to hell. So in an attempt to brighten things up my dad and I put three or four different-sized bird feeders in the front yard, as well as suet blocks, birdhouses and a bell feeder.
Now our yard's Ground Zero for the avian equivalent of WWI. First was a giant bachelor bluejay, who contrary to jay stereotypes, is pretty mellow unless you touch the suet bell. Then the cowbirds [which I did not know existed] were the next to try and stake a claim. There are [so far] four or five of them. The starlings, sorta cranky, followed. THEN a pair of mated house finches AND a cardinal husband and wife and teenage-burd son all moved in, it seems, the same morning. [Teenburd is named Pulsar. :P]
But the German equivalent of the birds came last - four to six fat, bullying doves who crowd four-at-a-time on the large feeder and scare and shove everyone out of the way. They also like to tip the lid off the aforementioned large feeder and wallow in their meal. Dad says there's at least two mated pairs in competition with each other but I'm unsure. They seem pretty chummy to me!
Last is a buff woodpecker who's sort of like Switzerland. He doesn't get involved.
In other news, folks who trade pokémon on Black/White are enormous dicks. No, I do not want to trade Reshiram, Zekrom, or Victini, and Nintendo won't let me trade Event Pokémon thru Negotiations! I worked hard to get them and no one else will offer me theirs! Gah!
It is thusly why I believe the legendary system is broken. That, or 90% of trainers over Wi-Fi are immature, selfish, 12-year-old RETARDS who're out of touch with reality!!!
Despite the unrealistic refusal of anyone to offer anything unless I pledge to give them one of the three Legendaries listed above, I've managed to snag a number of Shinys.

What can I say? I'm at a loss for words, for once. It wasn't as bad as the plant explosion in Morganton a few years back or the time the bridge came down on I-40, or the Fairfield plant fire when I was like six... but all the same, it was frightening.

I went to the Gem and Mineral Show this weekend
General | Posted 14 years ago...and boy, rocks are more expensive than I remember. But I DID manage to gbuy a few small, really cool things! Sadly, no Labradorite.
I can't stop squeeing over my shiny new Herkimer diamond[s] in their matrix. It's like having a viewfinder of shiny quartz. :3 I saw some Smithsonite in pastel pink, purple and blue which I would've liked to buy, but I only had ～$25. Oh well! I'm happy with what I got. n.=.n
Oh, and apparently, my giant slab of agatized coral is probably worth, like... six or seven times what I paid for it. But I'd never sell it, not for the world!
